Honestly, when I just checked I was pretty surprised, this time last year there were a bunch, i said three on etsy because I remember them particularly like this, no removable nail. I Think a lot of people saw them as less efficient than dome nail setup. If its glass you want it should be easy enough to get a custom, quartz may be a bit more difficult.

It looks like fake name was saying a variation of a side loading quartz paddle. I know worm makes rigs with the quartz paddle but I have never seen one like that its almost like a cross between a paddle and a birdhouse dome.

Ive seen both, but the one you mentioned is more established and if I were to choose between them it would be the side loader. But ive seen a few just like this, all one piece. 'Cross between a paddle and a birdhouse,' perfect description. I mention the store oil connection because they tried to sell me one when they thought I didn't like nail setups, but I was actually juat saying I don't prefer glass nails. They actually ended up giving me a mini dome and glass screen to be used togeteher as a bowl instead of the nails. Maybe it was rook glass not them. Or maybe rooked glass. I'm starting to get off topic here...

it is rather hard too keep up with the terminology with these domeless setups... Standardization isnt a bad thing imo... U could collect a ton of domes and only have 1 rig... Makes replacement parts cheaper and seporating the pieces that get hot from that which should not also minimizes the possibility of total failure... Setups like that also tenf to cost more, and are difficult or impossible to replace with a replica if u should have issue... Glass does fail if heated enough eventually.

Dome & nail
curve & pad
puddle cup
puddle pad
bird cage
bellybutton
periscope
breezeway
domeless nail

Need a concentrate glass glossery here... Maybe i have something to obcess over tonight?$

I really hope you (or someone) goes through with this idea! Perhaps it would be beneficial to have accompanying pictures. I know it totally clicked for me the first time I actually saw a birdhouse dome.

That being said, this piece (the paddle/birdhouse cross) seems to be lacking a standard name, which makes me wonder what the blowers are even calling it

ok, if ya got pics and a blurb about a piece pm me with a link to the photo (any good one will do) and a statement about "how it works" and "what it does" and i will put it all together. im gonna get me some schooling i hope as well as spreading the knowledge:tup:

I will add erris wheel

HELL, the list alone would make for a glassblowers handbook of go too for crazy oil contraptions!
Would make it easy for any FC'ers looking to have some custom work done too!

Anyone know where to get 710 tools now-a-days? 710tools.com has been suspended for what seems like forever.

Man i bet that thing can do some FAT tasty dabs. Mothership put out some crazy glass this year was really feeling the sacred geometry worked in to that shit was dope. FL you use an erris wheel most of the time dabbing? They look bad ass for catching dry reclaim in a jar ready to use

VAPOLITICS!
No I have used it once in the US and yes it rocks for dry reclaim...But I'm virtually unable to find somewhere to buy one, and this for more then a year now!!!!! HELP!:D

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I've used HSG handpipes and stones in a bong..... they're good, but I just prefer to use a Ti plate/nail (and hopefully soon.. the CERA !).

More a personal choice actually.... I found I cld taste the trace of butane in the hit with the stone as well as more heat (with the handpipe), and I also found I ended up with more resin in the glass than with the Ti attachments.

Is that what you meant ?

Seems like the HSG hand pipes are the only ones worth buying. I'd rather hit my nail at home anyways. But a nice little pipe would be cool for on the go

Nice stuff, all nice stuff, but does anybody have any idea if we can find any of this in Europe? I mean, have been looking all over the plac to find a titanium nail, but no luck. Only place i could find the was merlin-bongs in Germany and they are all sold out at the moment. I don't want to get in to any dodgy ebay stuff...hope somene might shed some light on this, or at least can give me a trusthworthy adres somewhere in the states that might ship to Holland?
