No, now that you bring it up I haven't. Great question though, how does it work? I bet it's a handful once it gets rolling......

For myself I have trouble keeping the standard SV in line, the LV I have is more my style maybe? Since getting it I don't think I've fired up a SV even once? I once considered running the SV on a PA and bench supply so I could tweak the power. I was planning on going down a bit, but you could just as easily go up and explore the idea???

It's OK to enjoy your medicine.
That's not bad. Last year I was paying 3x that for domestic and 5x that for alien unobtainium.

Hey Thermovape team, I have a problem with my heating core on my T1 and sent an email about it on Monday and have not heard back from you yet. I have checked my spam also with no avail. I know you are very busy with the Cera, but my T1 is my only convection vape and the core is bad and I am panicing ... Okay, breathe, nice deep breaths ... okay, much better now. Anyway, if you could check your emails for mine and respond, that would be great. Thank you!

Bummer, but Dreamerr is right, contact them.

You're absolutely sure the core is bad? Like you've measured it? From what I understand, most 'blown' T1 cores were in fact fine, the switch being the usual problem.....

I tested the switch and even swapped the switch from my Evo set-up to see if it would work. Also tried the battery pack instead of the ac adapter, still not enough heat from the core. I took the core out and boiled it, thinking that might help, but it looked as though only one coil was heating up. I took the core out to my shop and measured the resistence and came up with 2.8 ohms. I kind of remember checking the resistence an the core when I first received it and it seems it was 1.3 to 1.4 ohms, so for some reason the resisitence has doubled. I did send them an email on Monday morning but had not heard back from them yet.

From what I tested, the core is the problem. No resistence in the switch and my voltage output levels were easily within spec. If it is the problem, maybe a three coil soup-up would be in order.

Ohhhhh ... PM them! Thanks Dreamerr!

At this point I must say I am extremely dissappointed. Email sent on Monday morning, messages left on FC boards for Thermovape, Personal message sent to Thermovape via FC PM, still no response about my non working coil. I try to be patient, I know you all are busy with the Cera production, but I was an early adopter with the T1 and have sung its well deserved praise for a year now. I feel ignored and abandoned by the Thermovape team at this point.

So I guess I just sit here and wait for someone to contact me. I have praised Thermovapes customer service, as have many others on this site, but right now I can't say I am very impressed. I have to wonder, I want to purchase a Cera, is this the service I will receive on it a year from now?

Waiting patiently for some reply. Sorry about the back to back posts, the edit function was not available on my last post.

I see the Thermovape Team was on the Cera thread last night at 9:47 PM, too busy to reply to the T1 thread I guess.

Right now I feel like the couple in the movie 'Open Water'. Everyone else is on the boat, and I am floating in the middle of the ocean with no one around.

The Thermovape account sometimes gets PM's that are missed by us, You can always shoot me an email directly at tim@thermovape.com and i can help get you setup with the right people to get it taken care of as soon as possible.

Did you send an email to sales@thermovape.com or info@thermovape.com?

Cheers,
Tim

Typical of them for sure, making the problems that fellow was having seem all the more strange.

Hopefully he's connected with Tim and is getting sorted out, this stuff is too neat to just look at......

So does anyone know the estimated time that they will have T1 interfaces at discount on their website?

I sent an email to info@thermovape.com and they said things were being sorted and they would be up soon. lol. Just curious because I am interested in getting a T1 interface for my revolution but I also needed service done on my heating core on the revolution (clogged the ceramic) so it'd be nice to get that shipped back with a T1 interface as well :p

just got the evolution and holy shit is it kicking my ass. I am still experimenting the right technique but the process is OMG YO. 15 seconds of heating up, 8 seconds of heating draw, exhale small puff, TAKE REAL 15 second hit and WOWZERZ......

I need to ask a few questions to be sure I give you a correct answer, as I'm not positive what you currently have. I'll make some guesses below, but I need to hear exactly what you already have.

You mention you have an Evo (which I'm glad to hear you love), so I assume you have a battery handle that takes two RCR123A batteries. It is possible you have a LV (low voltage) Evo core, but that's not likely. If you do, your handle will only take a single battery.

If this is the case (you have a two battery "SV" handle powering your Evo core), then you have two choices for the concentrate (DART/Revolution) core .

(1) You can see if TET has any SV DART or SV Revo cores around, and order one of those (not what your first link points to). Or you can ask TET if they will rewind a LV core, turning it into a new SV core (re-coring costs an additional $10 or $15, as I recall).

(2) You can order the LV DART core your first link points to, and also order a different battery to use with the LV core in your current handle. You will also have to order a different charger for the new battery.

If you actually do have a LV Evo core, along with a single battery handle, then all you have to order is the LV DART core your first link points to.

As far as the second link to the TET Tool, I have one, I love it, I rarely use it; I think I paid way more for it than the current price.

As far as the third link, unless you have a T1, and no Evo/DART adapter, this makes no sense.

I'm glad I asked what you had! From your earlier message ("just got the evolution and holy shit is it kicking my ass") I thought you had an Evo.

So you have what is called a T1. It's the primary botanical vape that TET made. It has a standard voltage core ("SV") which runs on 6 volts (two batteries). So it turns out that what you want is the conversion kit that your third link points to. That kit will turn your (SV) T1 into a (SV) Revolution. The SV Revo is a real powerhouse, producing massive hits with a quick warmup. I use mine all the time with Pure Gold concentrate, and it's a pleasure. The batteries last all day before needing a recharge (unlike the T1 core, which needs a battery change after two bowls).

If you do wind up getting the Revo adapter, drop us another message and one of us will help you with the proper techniques to get the most out of vaping concentrates without overloading the Revo core.

thank you man all this stuff is so confusing and all I am trying to achieve is pure bliss ;)

Where is the best place to get a complete kit or is it vapornation. I want to be able to go over to my buddies house who is a big advocate of BHO, wax and all the concentrates.

Edit: Which one would i get the WINDOW option or DART.

I need wiki for all this modular stuff.....
