I just received an atmos stratus as a gift. Is there any info out there? I see they sell empty carts, are they fillable with oil and wax? Am i inhaling cotton? Anyone know?

To be fair, I will hold off on answering this for a time.
There is a technique that must be employed to achieve good vapor...... it includes releasing the button once you are at temp. BUT the thing cools down super fast, so you only release the button briefly in ratio to how long it is depressed.
Add in the speed of draw, and needless to say I am still working to be able to hand down a mature comparison of some type.
I am currently working with various "load sizes" and also trying different grinds, and learning that this has an effect.
I already made most of the video that I will post on my Youtube channel, but need more time to understand and know "Herc" a bit better~

I am also working on my technique. I get great flavor but not much vapor. But I was just holding the button. I will try your technique.

EDIT: Got visible vapor first try. Will report back after more testing.

I am finding that I get the best results from the Herc, if I treat it like the Launch Box!
It is seeming to prefer a very fine and very dry blend...
I have gotten my best results from smaller loads.
I am filling the chamber about halfway... and I am shaking the unit between hits.
I find that immediately after a shake, I get an instant hit of vapor....
The vapor then diminishes, but is refreshed after each shake.....
This tells me that my element is staying (using the toggle method) at about 400.. and I am letting new herb vaporize as it approximates the element.
Like the MFLB in many respects, only more modern, and made of more modern materials... and it implements a device that many of us already have and use for oils!

my omicron v1 charger just stopped working and now im omicron-less where can i buy a cheap replacement charger for the v1? im stuck here with my persei and is mine defective or what ? my persei on 3.7 and 2.4 ohm takes a while to heat up and doesn't hit nearly as thick as my omicron v1 thanks for the help!

Just a thought - doesn't it make sense to build a stirrer into the mouthpiece. That way you can simply twist the mouthpiece when the vapor get stale.. or even just bite down on the mouthpiece and turn the omi as you puff?

Maybe an easy DIY - I don't have one yet so just spitballin

PS - this should be good for a free Herc if implemented... right?

Howdy, welcome to the fun. Sorry it has to be amidst so many problems.

The charger for m601 threads (what you want) is pretty rare. At least some of the Atmos ones work. It won't be cheap. Otherwise, the easier to find and cheaper 510 version willwork fine if you can get the right thread adapter going.

If you're handy, they can usually be fixed easily. What happens is guys let a bit of oil leak into the socket which glues the charger contact down breaking the wire on the inside off. You have to keep it really clean, e-cig juice, for which it was originally designed doesn't work as well as a glue it seems. Anyway, pull the center pin out, fish the wire through, solder it back on and push the pin back in and you're good as new. Guys have even managed it strip it back, position it carefully and jam the pin back without soldering with some success.

Persei sounds like battery or head. How does it do with the dual cart head (only one needed)?

I seriously doubt you'll beat that price, good find.

Put the dual top in the same tube and battery. Put your 'known good' cart on and try it out. This will isolate it to head or battery/charger.

I still have it, but it's retired. I upgraded to a Thermovape instead of getting the Omicron V2. Even though I didn't go with the Omicron a 2nd time, Delta9 products remain on my short list.

I concur. My Omicron V1 is my favorite to date, even though I have been sent a NEW V2.

YES VITOLO EXACTLY! my friend just got an omicron v2 and assumes its broken because my v1 hits thicker and quicker than his v2, especially if you use a silicone tip with the mflb straw and have perfected how to slowly hit the mflb then you are golden with the v1!!!!

Does your friend have the V2.5 top? If not, try to get one and it increases the performance. They do not have them in stock at the moment. I emailed D9 and was told that they would be back last week but have yet to see them back online.

Hey guys, first post here though I've been reading ever since I decided to get a concentrate vape. Ordered my o-phos 7 days ago and I can't wait for it to finally get here (there was a shipping problem with puffitup.com). So I'm picking up a g of some j1 honeycomb that's pretty solid. It melts when heats applied but will it just take a while to prime compared to other waxes/oils?

I have the adaptor from D9v to connect to my illadelph and I want clouds so which brand new cart should i get 2.4 or 1.5 and what type of concentrate do you prefer?

(guess i can find out more information while i wait to buy a new charger cause the one i have just randomly stopped working)

brittle gave the best flavor to date.

An even bigger increase comes from dumping the (high internal resistance) IMR 14650 that comes with it in favor of AW IMR 14500s using the long end cap from the HV mod kit or a spacer under the battery. Hopefully eventually the long awaited shorter tube will be available for this?
