The Lotus Vaporizer

Wow!!! Love the Lotus!!! This thing works Beautifully!
Engineered...
flawlessly! Aesthetically, it's as pleasing as a work of Art!
And the
design and simplicity of it... Is genius!!

I just received it a week ago and already have used it extensively. Lol! By only the third time using, I had the lighting technique DOWN!
(Which is the only x-factor in this thing - getting acclimated to the best way to use the butane lighter.)
The Lotus itself is beautifully simplistic and engineered and built absolutely solid.
I am getting GREAT vape out of it and the use is quick and easy!

Masterfully done, guys and gals at Lotus!
My lungs are thanking you for years to come!

Thank you!

Jacob

Due to popular demand we are reinstating the FC discount for the Lotus. The coupon is FC1, good for 10% off until the end of June.

Nice to see you around Max. My Lotus (x2) is still, by far, my favorite portable vape. (It is also a great home vape but variety is nice!)

I just found out about Abysmal Vapor's situation and want to help.
We have 3 Lotus vapes (2 black, 1 natural) that have visual blemishes but are functionally perfect. We'll sell them at 15% off, keep the wholesale cost and give AV the difference. They can be bought from Lotusvaporizer.com using an AVHELP coupon code on checkout.

Max,

The weird thing is that I always use a water tool of some sort with every vape except my Lotus. The Lotus has this unique flavor intensity+dense vapor combo I have not found with any other vape. I don't use the WP adaptor with flowers -- the stem cools the vapor effectively and the taste....the taste!

On the other hand, my favorite all-time setup for solid concentrates is the Lotus and the WP adaptor. I just torch the fuck out of it and after a couple draws to heat it up I get the most intense hash vapor I have ever experienced. Like a dome & TI nail for oils, I consider this a connoisseur setup for solid concentrates.

Jack, can you do that without overheating the vapor cap? Can you post a pic of the hot plate on your vapor cap? I'd like to see its condition.

Sure Max. I use a regular torch but will get it to about a consistent nickel size hotspot for solid concentrates. It doesn't look much different after a year of doing this than it did after the first week. All (or at least most) of the discoloration happened during the first few uses. I heat to a small eraser head size hot spot and move it around for flowers. My first Lotus (gifted to friend) looks similar to this one after much use. I think it would take some sort of physical trauma to the plate to damage this thing.

Thanks for putting the pics up Jack.I'm glad to see that it can be heated that much and not damaged. I got one back from a customer that was totally charred from the Lotus ring inward. I think he was actually heating the Lotus ring.
We've talked about putting a little sticker in the middle of the hot plate to indicate where to heat it. Any opinion?

ha, just tried out a bubbler that i got from silika with the wp adapter. previously, i had the wp for awhile but didn't have any glass stuff, so i customised my own bubbler here (the 'nuk' bubbler)

well, that didn't work out so well and since i didn't have any glass stuff i plum forgot about the wp. recently,i got a proper bubbler it is like night and day. whaat a blast, thru water, hard hitting smoothness.

seriously, this lotus wp is worth the admission price alone

I have this small handheld bubbler, which i use with my UD. if i can get a custom glass maker to make one that takes a 14mm wp, wow.....heads up if anyone knows of any leads. thx

it's well made piece of functional art, feels good and gives butane-free vapor. a very nice 'old-school' pipe vaporizer.

I'm also wondering if there are new units in the pipeline... Using the lotus so much at home that we're considering buying a second kit so my lady doesn't have to be without a lotus when I take it out... Should I hold off? And if not is there still a FC discount?

Sorry for the delay in responding.
We have made some changes to the Lotus: bowl is twice as deep, the internals have been reworked to give a more even vape across the bowl and of course the stir stick is standard now.
We are out of stock right now but should be restocked in 2 weeks, unfortunately not in time for the holidays. A new FC coupon (FC2) is also on and will be for a while, 15% off.
I'll give a shout when we have stock again.

Things always go slower than you hope/expect.

Absolutely! A hard earned lesson folks seem to forget vape to vape......

"Hope springs eternal" I guess. But experience shows us reality works differently.

This is a topical lesson, as those waiting for Cera and various D9 (and no doubt other) products today can easily show?

"Take all the time you need to do it right" is I think the best rule to follow. We really don't want this stuff rushed or half baked......we just want it perfect, cheap and now.

Sorry for the slow response, but we finally have the long stem Lotus out for sale.
Changes are:
bigger bowl (twice as deep)
more even heating pattern across the bowl
an extra internal part to keep the top plate spaced away from the air diffuser plate (to minimize restriction)
stems look much better, a high gloss anodize
As always, FC members get a 15% discount. Use FC2 in the coupon box.

Any pics Max? In paper it sounds very good and I might rethink my take on the Lotus... Actually it was not the Lotus per se that made me not fall in love with it but the lack of a reliable torch. Tried many, all failed very soon. Thrown away money...

Pics are coming.
The torch that we supply is very basic but reliable, suggested by the Vaporstore.
Vector has one crook-necked model, the Volt, for $25. It's a good brand but any torch can clog.
Some people just have bad luck with them. I have one friend that breaks every torch she touches, regardless of quality. I'm not superstitious but after giving her 4 lighters............
