...another one bites the dust... going to be digging glass shards out of your keyboard pretty soon there.

I will feel much safer with the Cera around. :smug:

on a side note, any reason I shouldn't use the Utrafire or my Xtar chargers with the TET house battery?

Hmmmmmmmmmm safety...maybe they can put a gun or knife attachment. I haven't felt safe in years so that would be a great addition:D

no need for all that Dreamerr, just a quick wollop to the head should do the trick... should the unfortunate need arise. The idea of wining them over with a nice vape sesh sounds like a much more reasonable solution. :spliff:
*disclaimer: I do not condone senseless violence.

I think a tazer core attachment would be awesome

I can see that going over well, uhhhh what's this switch do?? bzzzzzzzz:o

Hard to catch them with the chair unless I mod it and put in thrusters just for criminals and hills. My arms could never push that fast:)

Can I request a whistle be custom fit into the mouthpiece? Cause I'm gonna look like a teapot with all that vapor pouring out of me. :spliff:

Better that than a steam powered freight train with a burned out headlight coming from the far end of the tunnel......

Which of course it could well look like if the lighting was right.

So much violence! I'm a Canadian Dead Head so the only use I have for a gun relates to partridge, a knife widdling, and a tazer ... Hmmmmm .... Wonder if you could MacGuiver a vape out of one? :)

Not to worry, well get Mikey to do it!

Maybe we use it as an anti theft option? Nobody can touch it when armed? You can put it down and come back later with confidence it'll still be there.

Back in the stone age when we fixed TVs, a friend in the business got the smart idea of upgrading his alarm on his van to do this after a late night break in. To do it, he used a brass chain to ground the van when it stopped, the airflow kept it off the pavement other times. The proud inventor showed us in the parking lot then went to turn it off..... He said a bad word. A stack of rubber mats didn't help. While waiting for the battery to run down (after dealing with the police) it occurred to us one guy could lay on the ground and lift the chain up with a wooden broom stick while the other guy turned it off. After that his alarm key had six inches of fiberglass for a handle.

Got a threatening letter from the landloard a few days later by registered mail, seems the other business's customers objected......go figure.

No need for all this violence. You can just smoke your enemies out.

"Confusion to the Enemy!". Very serious confusion.

Then you ambush 'em at seven eleven when they make a muchies run.......

We could sell it to the army if we could make it in camo. Talk about a game changer..... I wonder if the chemical warfare agreement after WWI included THC? I seriously doubt it...

Knock Knock Hello... Am I in the right thread?.. Im looking for new Cera vids....but all im hearing is stuff about WWI and Tazers....:uhoh:

Anyways I had a thought....How do people feel about the original safety switch option after watching the CEA EO vids. Its seems like it'll be the best way to control the volume of vapor small or big and it becomes a one hand operational vape which may be necessary for some medical users.

I have no idea what you're trying to say about the safety switch...

Right now we are on Schedule to ship Stainless Steel Cera's in advance of X-mas, with the Stainless model looking like it will a more in advance of Christmas then the Titanium Ceras. Right now we are right on schedule. No issue with customs, we get all of our parts and materials right here, so nothing in our way of continuing to get these babies together. We still have some units available for this pre-holiday run. We absolutely want everyone vaping as soon as possible. First to order, first to ship.

Yep, will do it. Through glass as well.

Yes, over and over. The next video series will show total number of inhalations for ~1 gm. Which dropped the battery by half (the best half). Still plenty of juice to keep on vaping. If that is your criteria, then the Cera Essential Oil Model will meet them easily.

It will turn whatever you put into into vapor. It will stop producing gradually as the material is used. The next set of videos should help demo this. It works loaded with a small amount or a larger amount of oil.

It will simply be consumed.

Fully vented. No need for concer. the Cera battery compartment is selaed from the cartridge section of the device while in uses and the battery chamber is separetly ventiliated, as is every vaporizer we have ever made.

Safety, Quality, Performance. This is where we focus all of our energy. Rest assured, every conceivable effort has been made to deliver the safest portable vaporizer ever imagined.

It will do what you are describing. The next set of videos will show 1 gram generating 30+ inhalations. Then we have a video that shows 1 gram consumed generating the largest clouds we can, and then 0.25 grams consumed using short smaller inhaled (efficiency model). The Cera does both easily, and everything in between. We will show you, as fast as Anthony can upload the videos are coming.

To elaborate, the oil will not degrade while in the Cera, the method of vapor generation yields consistent vapor throughout the chamber load, it will taper off as the amount of oil in the cartridge decreases to near zero. It is very efficient in terms of not leaving oil in the cartridge.

Yep, will do on the video topic request. Works great in the Cera LL. The Cera Loose Leaf Cartridge is Ceramic because it utilizes a completely different method for generating heat, and vapor. Titanium was an abvious "Dream material" for the Cera Essential Oil version. Ceramic is equally dreamy for this convection vaporization application. Works better.

Welcome! Cheers... great group here.

The Cera will make outstanding vapor from all of the consistencies and types of hugh purity essential oils you mentioned. No problem.

This is just for kicks. Full 1 gm Stress test is coming soon (3 parts)

FYI. Not everyday at the office starts like this... sometimes a take a Sunday off, or Christmas.

Cheers,

Noah

You are correct mflb_hustler. It looks like a great way to pulse the unit on and off...I think you can even see one of the Thermovape guys doing it in an older video.

Yep, I thought it's kind of silly and was thinking of asking them to upgrade the Beta unit to the recessed version. That was before the oil cart. NEVER MIND. There's a great use for it keeping that monster under some control. It stays, thank you very much.

Bottom line, the oil cart needs a 'Chicken Switch' big time. It very reassuring to push the slide, immediately turn it around and keep your thumb on the 'off' button for immediate needs.

Somebody was not only reading their emails and taking every suggestion seriously, but they did their homework as well. Some how it's lead to Noah busting up the joint. If he starts in on the furniture, I'll meet you in the parking lot.....

I'm thinking they should consider taking it down a notch or two? He used to be such a nice man....

Hello,

I'll admit that I don't want to read the 51 pages of posts, unless I get some spare time. Thus, my questions might, more than likely, have been answered already.

1. What is the difference between the titanium and the stainless steel versions? I realize it's different metals, but is there any specific reason; such as more durable, alters the vaporization process, etc.

2. How sufficient do you, anyone at FC, think this will be in terms of stealth? I'm not the type to smoke in public anyways, but I'm quite fond of the pax's design. Do you think people would see someone inhaling from this and give it no second thought? I know that many vape in places such as restaurants, movie theaters, and other places similar to these two. Could this vape satisfy such situations such as these?

3. What temp is the device set to? From what I can tell it is a preset, but has it been clarified what temp that is? Is this vape's temperature dependent on the speed at which you inhale? I know that certain convection vapes have this dependency, such as log vapes, or whips. I'm not sure if a portable could fall into this though.

4. Could this vape be used in a group setting? I'm curious if it could give thick and consistent hits every 15-30 seconds to sustain a group of about 3-4 people. Is it still too early to know this?

5. Once preorders sell out, will it be possible to purchase this device on any date after Dec. 10, such as December 20th? I notice someone mentioning that he would wait until spring if the preorders sold out, so I'm curious if the device will be sold consistently after Dec. 10, or if there will be a wait that ensues.

Thanks for the help. If need be, I'll skim through the whole thread. I'm just excited that this is coming out around the time that I set to purchase a portable vaporizer. =)

1-astectics
2-That is more of a personal thing of comfort. I have no issue
3-Temp is controlled by you from the speed you draw
4-I think so but I will let someone else answer. This vape does have a learning curve.
5-I doubt you will be able to order one on Dec 20th to get for x-max.

Now what do I get for saving you from reading this long thread?:brow:

Lol you replied as soon as I finished editing my post. Thanks for answering the questions. I'm not too worried on getting it for xmax. I'm possibly using xmax money to get it in the first place. I'm just wondering if they will be selling these after Dec. 10 consistently, so that I can purchase one as soon as I'm ready instead of waiting for them to begin selling again. lol

What do you get? You obtain my gratitude. This is quite a rare feat and not something that many have obtained in my short lifetime. You should feel proud ol' chap. ;)

Honestly... I probably wouldn't use it in public, like at a restaurant table. I see some people using their e-cigs sometimes at the table and it just seems so out of place... I wouldn't be averse to ducking into the stall for a minute to get a few oil hits though. It looks like the Cera puts out some serious vapor, and the thing about smell kinda ties into vapor. The more you exhale, the more it'll smell. If you can "ghost" a few hits and be satisfied, then by all means give it a go. I know I've tried my LB in a lot of places just because I could :smug:

As for group sessions... Maybe. Like Dreamerr said, if you spend more time trying to teach them how to use it, it might heat up some. OF has mentioned that some extended sessions left him holding his in an awkward manner because it got too warm for comfort. That's something to note. It should be able to deliver good clouds, in the right hands, every 3 seconds, if not immediately.

I wouldn't even use an old fashion type e-cigg if I did nicotine at a table in a restaurant. Like you said Q in this day and age it is just out of place so you will bring attention even if not on. If on it will smell in such a close situation and you are a sitting duck. Moving targets are always harder to find.

1. You can't tell the different between the 2 when vaping. They both work the same. Here is what's on the web site about them. In comparison to stainless steel, titanium is light and stronger with resistance to small space corrosion. Titanium is a good choice for those that are active and will be enjoying their Cera outside. If you enjoy being outdoors for hiking, camping or other excursions where the device may be subject to water exposure, increased wear and tear we definitely suggest considering opting for the titanium versus stainless. Both are extremely durable and long lasting materials. Either way, both are extremely high quality for use in a portable vaporizer application.

2. Stealth wise out in public. With the black silicone sleeve to go over the white ceramic of the Cera I would feel more comfortable using it out in public. My first option would be away from people and not facing anyone. I don't go out much and when I do I rarely see anyone puffing away on an ecig. Still all cigs around here but since the Cera is white or when using a black silicone you could call it a really big e-cig if someone asks. I've used the T1 out in public but never when anyone is looking at me. Just make your best judgement before you use it.

3. I'm not going to search for it but I know it is on one of these pages. It has more heat then we need so that you can control the temp based on how you inhale.

4. It will work for groups. Maybe in one of the upcoming videos with the LL they can show it off being hit over and over through glass to show that if you pass it around to 4 people that it won't stop putting out vapor. The thing though is you can turn it on and keep it on for as many minutes as you need to pass it around to everyone but getting up there in the 6-10 minute area it may be too hot for some peoples hands. If I recall OF saying after 6 minutes part of the Cera read 133F. So you can hold it lower where it isn't so warm but I would start thinking about turning it off and letting it cool. Say 6 minutes of on time and if people take 25 second hits that is 14 hits so in a group of 3-4 people that's 3-5 hits each which should be enough for most to get a buzz. Throw in some bubble hash and the bowl will keep going longer. With a silicone sleeve to go over the Cera it should help keep the heat down for a little longer. We'll have to see once people get them.

5. I'm not sure what happens once the preorders are sold out. I would guess after the New Year TV will make as many as possible at a time to sell. Good question for them to answer.

When you have time read all posts by ThermoVape. That'll give you a bunch of details on the Cera.
