So far I have had two sessions with my Hercules and here's my experience so far.


1. Still a little unsure of when to start pulling as G had said to pull the entire time you use the Hercules and others have recommended waiting for the sizzle.

2. I've been packing 0.1 loads and using it as a nail cart. The taste is unparalleled and the hits are huge.

3. I find that a very soft pull works best but still am unsure when to begin, so I feel like I am wasting breath.

4. The outer layer of the Hercules has started to peel after a hot iso bath. Hopefully the new replacement parts will fix this problem.

5. I find it near impossible to not get oil around the base of the hammer and tanks.


Overall, I dig it but am hoping there's some kind of fix for the oil seepage. Technically, isn't the Hercules supposed to be leak proof? I know G was saying that they're not technically "leaking", but oil is getting places other than the tanks so I don't know what else to call it. Was definitely blown away by the taste though. Holy crap, it's amazing!

Anyone else care to share their experiences and chime in on their techniques?

Start pulling on it after 7 seconds. If you wait to long the oil will be running down into the bottom of the ceramic heater. Never boil in iso boil in water only. The new replacements will be pure black teflon. If you hold the button and not inhale the vapor when it hits cooler places re constitutes and turns into liquid again. So its important to keep hitting it while having the button on. Slow hits produces the max vapor.

Thanks G! I wish I knew about the iso boil, but if the outer shell is going to be replaced anyway, I'm not fretting the peel too much.

Edit: Holy shit, amazing work on the Leela! Also, is the Nibbler water filtration? I can't really tell what's going on there.

Yes its a water filtration system. First of its kind, smallest bubbler designed and built for a cartridge system.

So far this is what a Persei can do.

Persei + Hammer + LEELA
Persei + Hercules Herbs
Persei + Hercules Oils
Persei + Bender All Glass Herbs Chamber
Persei + Nibbler
Persei + Bubbler
Persei + Core endless amounts of energy.


Simply put the most versatile vaporizer is the Persei.

I often heat some iso in the microwave for thirty seconds and use it to clean my glass. Figured it would be okay for the Hercules. It's all good. It's a super small section and like G said, they're being replaced anyway so no biggie. I do have two Hercs though so if I'm feeling OCD about it, I can always swap out the shell for now.

Edit: Trying not to use the second right now if I don't have to. It's clutch to have a back up.

When I first saw G's new picture, i didnt scroll all the way down and for a split second, though that that could possibly be an attachment for the persei/hammer. Until I scrolled down a little bit more. Still very, very cool! but G, that would change the game, and you know it :nod:

You might want to rethink this. I recall in the early days, someone taped a newspaper story to the company lunch room one of a fellow making 'hot buttered rums' in his. Sucker blew up big time. Made a big old mess. Seems the vapors collected enough and a spark of some sort touched it off. He was elsewhere, but it'd be a buzz kill of the first order if opening the door and the light turning on sparked it off......

Perhaps warming some in a jar in a pan of hot water? No cap, of course.

It does happen with ISO cleaning of gear where I live as well as hash making. Just read the Arcata Eye. Flames get the house and the guy..maybe the neighbors... Microwaves have switches and unsealed relays, a recipe for "vaporization" regret in the worst way.
To be honest, I shiver when read about oven heating ISO. Ya never know when you hit stoichiometric ratio mix..

Yes as OF said PLEASE DON'T DO THIS! You are creating a bomb that will eventually blow up! Just a second or two too long and you are asking for trouble.

My method to do warm ISO soaks is put my piece to be cleaned into a ziploc bag with the ISO(close the bag)and dip the whole thing into hot water from the sink. Works wonders. Simply give a couple light shakes once it warms up and any oil or reclaim just melts right off!
Then you can pour the ISO into a dish to be evaporated and recollect the oily goodness if you want.

Edit: To clean water pipes and such I just put some ISO into the piece, cover the downstem hole with my finger and run under hot water for a few seconds. Give a couple shakes and watch the oil melt off!

Where do flowers go?

Dry sift in one of these little tanks? does the lid stay on when it's in the Hercules?

No John
Remove the tank and pack your flower down around the rod and the rest of the sleve, yes it is very hard to keep from combusting, that's why G said the 3.7v was better for flowers.
It will vape flowers just be very light on the button, you can try putting a small peice of screen over the rod to help stop combustion.

Isn't PURE GOLD close to the same consistency as Ejuice?
Wouldn't this work for PURE GOLD consumption?

Consistency is one thing, but temperatures required for vaporization is another. G has advised against using them for Pure Gold in the past, so do so at your own risk.

That being said if you do feel compelled to try it at least let everyone here know how it works out for you, so we can use it for future reference.

I use my 2.4 carts for WAXES.
I want to have the same brand of vaporizer to do my concentrates.
So far the DELTA 9 products work really well.
I don't do EJUICE however if the PURE GOLD will work in them why not get one?
