Wait a minute. You have used the same ELB for over 2 months without cleaning it? The longest I've let an ELB go without an ISO bath is 2 days. Maybe I'm anal, but I've assumed that a clean ELB tastes better, and provides better airflow. Did you notice any difference in taste or airflow with that ill-fated ELB used in your experiment?

:peace:

I was using it as my only ELB... I just wanted to see what would happen if I stopped cleaning it. It continued to work even after 2.5 months. You could not really see the mesh anymore it was coated solid. I would scape the inside out as it would accumulate dust like ABV on the side. I was surprised at how well it was still working after all that time. It did not smell the best... kind of like cooked Polenta. The airflow was not overly restricted either. The taste was not much different... keep in mind I run my cloud at 3o'clock and the taste is gone by the end of the hit anyway. I felt like it gave every hit a little extra kick in potency. I went back and used a clean one afterward and I kind of missed the extra punch the dirty ELB gave. I usually like the ELBS a little dirty. I find after about the 10th bowl (A day or so of use for me) they start to preform the way I like. Then I usually let them go for about another week and then I clean them. I would have kept going until it broke, but my puppy ended the experiment. I guess he considered the ELB "seasoned" enough to enjoy.

I think I'm more OCD than you, SliM!

Now I'm not that anal about clean vape parts (cough *pappy* cough), but I don't think I could let my ELBs get that "seasoned".

I guess that's what makes the world go 'round.

My OCD does not really have to do with cleanliness type stuff. There is some aspect to that, but it manifests in weird ways. When I used to smoke out of a bong, the water would not get changed for quite a long time. I have gotten better since switching to vaporizing. I clean my piece every week now. Vaporizing is so clean that you can kind of get away with not changing the water every session. I actually smelled some dirty bong water the other day and it was disgusting. That smell used to not bother me... so things have changed.

My puppy was high most the day after chewing on the ELB... so it must have had some potent stuff on the sides. I made sure to give him lots of water and such. He spent most the day napping on his bed or in my lap.

Sorry to hear about the puppy. I know that pot and dogs is not a good mix. While interestingly enough, pot and hot dogs is. But I digress...

If you need new ELBs, I'd just call the support line. They got some new guy there so he'll be easy to bully. Tell him you demand replacement ELBs because dog eating was not specifically excluded in the warranty. He'll fall for it, I bet.

Indeed! SM, I have been dreaming of the 'Cloud Buddy' since before I read you guys had it in the works. I had actually planned to have a similar item custom made, but had no luck in my local scene(SouthEast:rolleyes: ). Luckily, you guys at VapeXhale have always been at a minimum of one step-ahead of the rest of the community! I can't wait to get one of them, & possibly a Devastator along with it! It very well may devastate my wallet  . Keep it up, & congrats to SliM!

On a similar note, ever since seeing the 'full-devastator'(ash-catcher>main bubbler>hydratube), I've been curious if any Cloud owners(etc) have been using Ash-Catchers, & with what results? I "think" most ash-catchers weren't designed to hold the weight of the VXC, but I may be wrong. I've wanted to try using my Toro AC(for example), but fear it would be unwise & can't afford to break any of my glass ATM. I'm not educated on the strength of a scientific glass AC, & whether or not its advised to use the Cloud with one. Anyone have any experience or knowledge they could share? No one seems worried that the Devastator AC lacks the strength to hold the weight of the VXC. :suspicious:

Congrats SliM (actually, congrats VXL!). ;)

SliM rocks (and I do not mean slim shady). SlightlyMedicated and not quite sedated (apparently they praise 'he'). Its crazy how his dazed brilliance and films amaze 'we'. INSPIRATIONAL! (at least for a song :p ). SliM is half lung and 100% bong! (and I get quite a kick out of the fact that SliM is like GonG).

Slightly medicated has created something special that's been harnessed by those elated by the ones who share their wisdom (and that is why he's been admired by many...and eventually admitted into the VapeXhale kingdom). :D

Enjoy the clouds you create (and be thankful for the Clouds that create the clouds that you create).

PS: Dogs and decarbed duff is a dangerous mix (glad the pup is OK).

LOL! Now for me, personally, I like the ELBs as clean as can be. Mine get restricted if I don't clean them every couple of days. But, I also only had one for a while and I didn't clean it that much, because it was falling apart, hehe. Now I have 4 and rotate them every 2 days.

One of my dogs ate some ABV once and crashed out for hours and peed himself. My wife was PISSED! I felt terrible and now I make sure NOTHING is where any of the dogs can get to it.

If your dog is ok everything is fine, but I just wanted to warn you guys. Cannabis, specifically ABV, is literally poison for dogs. They do not have the receptors we have, and it can cause sudden drop in blood pressure, and even death if enough actives get into there blood stream, dependent on how much they ingest and how much gets into there blood stream, whats currently in there stomach. Be very careful with management of your ABV /w dogs as they will eat it due to the sweeter smell it gives off. It also causes incontenance, and the experience is very unpleasant/frightening for the dog.

I didn't know that. My dog has never tried to eat ABV or even fresh flowers before. She has inadvertently partaken in my sessions. Never intentionally and she was always fine after, except the one time she threw up a few hours later.

In on topic news, I'm thinking of making the road trip to see my friend with a Cloud this weekend. I've had this obsession the past few days to try one, and everytime I think of spending money I have to remind myself I'm saving for a Cloud.

Great Scott!
Will the VXH ship to all states?

No just 49. They picked one at random to make people feel shitty about living there. :p

I feel like this should be posted at least monthly. I knew this but it is scary stuff.

Hopefully I'll be making all my ABV into tincture depending on how this batch goes. My dogs are fairly smart, but they don't have thumbs ...yet.

SliM sorry to here about the ELB, but it good that your dog is alright. My dog ate a ABV brownie once. I had two of them and finished one when I ran out of milk. My dog is always and you can leave steak on the table, leave the room and come back to nothing missing. But, for some reason weed and chocolate she can't resist. So like I said I ate one and ran out of milk so I went to get more milk all exciting to come back and finish the other one when I realized "OMG it's gone!!" My dog was so out of it I was freaking out. She just laid on the couch for hours and when she would wake up her head would be moving in a waving motion like she was drunk. I also didn't know the specific's with dogs and weed so thanks Troi for posting that. Now I will be more careful.

As you might already know, chocolate is also poisonous to dogs. There is a whole thread here on ingestion by dogs: ABV - Warning to all Vaporist dog owners for anyone who wants to continue along this line.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

I new about the chocolate but not really much about the ABV/weed stuff. Goes to figure that my dog would only LOVE the two bad things for her lol.

There's a lot of things that can kill a dog that we can eat without issue. Grapes are also fatal to canines.

To get things back on track however, I remember hearing back a while ago the VXH was working on a sleeve that goes over the Cloud to make it easier to hold on long sessions. Has anyone else heard anything more about that? My cloud gets so ridiculously hot. I burn my fingers by even touching one of the screws on the side of it.

Really? Sorry to go off topic, but my dog eats grapes all the time and is certainly fine? Is it a long term effect or something?
