That is awesome! I am saving up for the Cera right now, however in the near future I could draft up some measurements and an image for what I would be working with to see if we could make it happen.

With the strength and thermal properties of that ceramic it could make for a better nail than my quartz, allowing me to better dial in perfect vaporization temperatures.

Let me throw another quick thought out, this stuff can be molded and machined effectively before it's final fireing. This means you don't have to settle for blobs of glass, you can have precision structures built in.....like say for instance a built in dome, complete with vapor passages, made of the same material to trap the vapors and route them away? A near bomb proof one piece solution? Self cleaning, too.

IMO this needs some serious looking into.....

How cool is the forum again? Open exchange of ideas, great stuff.

Now, about that oil cart.......

Cera Essential Oil video is uploading now. Straight into loading and vaping. If folks don't want these I am keeping them all for myself... ;) fingers crossed for a clean upload!

Are we getting the shorter draws with herb before you do oil and concentrates?

This video is done, Anthony is working on it now and then we will upload it.

getting ready to shoot the second Essential oil video. Please submit requests for what you would like me to cover. Suggestions will be taken for tis video for the next 10-15 minutes then it is go time. (always a video 3,4,5..)

Cheers,

Noah

Just my usual, 15 minutes late :whoa:

Is it possible you can cover everything?

Not in my current condition. You'll understand after you see the First demo video....

If you have a topic, we are listening/shooting.

Cheers,

Best way to load / How much can be loaded (oils, wax). When loaded and we take like 1-2 hits then want to save the rest for later is there a cool down process / can we put it in the pocket and have it side ways / upside down (thinking rides at amusement parks). Is it a good load (like .3g) and go vape or do we have to take care of not spilling or leaking what is inside? How much different is it from the loose leaf vape. Just general things that a new person to oils would want to know.

(The forum never sleeps. I'm glad TV doesn't sleep either)

Any more then 3-4 hours a night for me just seems excessive unless I am on vacation...

Cheers. We are moments away from the video posting. youtube processing....

EPIC!!! So totally going for the oil vape (In titanium of course. One of a kind). Easy to load. Instant vapor (TONS of vapor). The nonstick tool comes in handy too I'll have to get one of those. People are going to wake up happy after checking out this thread.

All in all, Amazing clouds. Amazing video.

Cera Is Indubitable! Bravo to The Thermovape Team on a VERY solid Vape.

That is amazing!!!!

You said the insides are different for the essential oil model. What is different?
Is the top piece changed from ceramic to metal on leaf, oil, and ejuice models?

WOW!!!

Got to go watch that video again!!

PouAh! Ah! Ah! Oh, i guess we all got the picture by now!...

Doesn't look much like a trick lighting or photoshop job to me, either. Hard to imagine 'better' performance really.

I'm excited to get my hands on one (tomorrow) to try, but also a little intimidated by it. Truly a vape worthy of respect.....from several directions. My guess is 'game changer' will be a term bandied about real soon.....

Most impressive, even if the video was faked (which I'm sure it's not). It looks like the decision to pull the plug on Revoluton/DART was the right one.....

Well done, guys. I'd say it's time to celebrate, but from the looks of things that's already taken care of?

Friends,

I've got a few more details from testing for those interested.

First to the topic of heat. I'm currently using the hotter of the two cores I have (14 Watts as I measure it) and 'going for clouds'. To that end, I'm preheating a full minute, I find this gets to heavy vapor a bit faster, at least the way I'm using it. Then it's serious hits for the next few minutes followed by shutdown like a guy trying to get a few hits in a hurry might do. From a cold start at the one minute point (start of tokes) the area above the switch plate (where the four screws below the vent holes and above the safety switch are) is the only area feeling at all warm, and it only just a bit. At two minutes in (one with hitting) it's now noticeably warm but the cap is cold, buy 3 minutes the cap is feeling warm but holding it casually where it seems natural to me (right above the hot part) is still OK. Over the next several minutes I moved my hand down past the switch to the top of the area of reduced diameter (the waist). It's still OK to grab the hotter areas, but not my first choice. From experience this heat will continue to grow until it's too hot to be grabbing and I'm holding it further and further down until at the 15 or 20 minute mark it's time to let it cool.

So I stopped at six minutes. IMO a typical 'worst case' bowl time for most folks, far past what most would do in a 'fast as you can run'. That's a lot of vaping, I'm doing OK since I'm using a largely spent bowl and ignoring the popcorn taste. My trusty pyrometer (IR remote thermometer) says the hottest spot is 138F, not at all pleasant to hold onto but not a serious burn hazard IMO. Not yet.

I continue to find that lots of heat, fine grind, dry bud, and heavy packing (up to a quarter gram twice now) will produce vapor thicker than I really want with ease by the 2:30 mark. No doubt others will demand more, some will be satisified by nothing less, some still not satisfied. But I think those looking for 'a few quick, fat rips' have something to work with here. I still don't think it's a the answer to cloud chaser's prayers but it has potential. Hopefully Slightly Medicated can pick up that part when he gets his Beta unit.

With all the good news about the oil cart, I'm glad I got this part done (just in time). I still have time for a couple more runs before getting the oil cart and 'changing gears'. After that I've got to back off this testing some, my tolerance is taking a beating. And while I'm sleeping much more soundly than normal, waking up and quickly getting going is not as easy as it once was...no, make that 'has always been'. Not exactly true, but a lot closer that way.

These are exciting times, Cera is a 'powerful tool for good', but also a bit of two edged sword as well IMO.

Holy crap, looking forward to getting these into hands Down Under :-)

Er, ah, any particular hands you had in mind?

Fake OF? The only thing fake will be the things you are seeing after hitting that. Unless that is some CGI (which I don't imagine they have the budget for) that's a lot of vapor.

All? You'll be lucky to not have conversations with people who never existed. Animals perhaps. I bet you could get talked into loaning them money, if they had a good enough reason, of course.....

Hit that sucker too much and Elvis is going to steal it from you. When you 'sober up' you won't be able to find your shoes, let alone your Cera. Maybe a fitting for one of those handcuff/chain things the spooks use on their briefcases is a good plan? At least something like the chain on a biker's wallet.

WOW!!:o That oil chamber is insane!! That was a huge load, huge amount of vapor coming off that thing, and looks like the consistency of the oils I make... Good to know it can handle such a large amount, but how does it do with smaller loads? I generally wouldn't want to see half my oil stash go up in clouds before I can inhale it... that thing was seriously producing. One of the things I liked about the Dart was the small load capacity because I don't use as much oil, but I know most want more so maybe it's good I have a couple of Darts around for small loads. Oils are so much stronger that I generally don't need as many hits as I do with herb, but I can see being able to load at least half a G and keep it in there as you use it up being a great option as well. Very impressed with that demo.

Any problems with leakage or oil moving into places it shouldn't after such a big load??

Keep up the great vids guys... BTW I am over here enjoying that Ultra/HP LV EVO combo, short battery life, but packs a punch for such a small package, getting about a 5 hit load per charge w/the HP Evo which is not bad for the size battery... thanks again y'all!! Now I just need to get santa to bring me a full Cera kit.

Allright, uploading the previously requested Cera Loose Leaf video with a 30 second warm-up, a couple primer puffs and then strict 10 second inhales.

Finished shooting the second Cera Essential Oil Video, all requests were adressed, so expect:

General
Assembly
Loading - Initial
Loading - quick
With Glass
Flow path
Leaking
Vaping
Warm-up
more...

This should answer most peoples questions and really show what the Cera is capable of.

Anthony will have his hands full getting this one ready to go... later today for sure.

Going to shoot some Liquid vaporizer shots. this is our roots, glycerol vaping. Our friends at the Pacifica Patient Resource Center provided us with some very nice glycerol to test out in the Cera Liquid vape for the video. Then I have to go to bed, my alarm to wake up is for 2 hour and 45 minutes from now. Unless Anthony & Travis still want to work... (it's like a casino here, no windows, no clocks, just hot-pockets, American flags, and vaping). Travis still thinks it's October....

Cheers,

Noah
