Hi Noah,
1. Estimated cost of silicon sleeve?

Low cost. Excotic colors may be more expensive depending on the aterial sourcing. This should be inexpensive <20$, may by a wide margin, economy of scale calculations still needed. Inexpensive enough that we may sell them in a pack for that rice with a couple color options. You could go two-tone.

2. Re: safety switch(es). Interesting idea. Look forward to video.

Over the weekend we will get it shot.

3. AC Power Supply? Hooray!!

Agreed, great accesory. My T1 with PA and All glass glass adapter. Good friend that has been.

4. Ms. Jam was once kind enough to post a picture of a flashlight head attachment (Sabertouch perhaps?) that some might find useful whilst going through security. A possibility??

Still on the list. One of the reasons we went to standard thread pattern on the interface... make the options for add on and mods so much easier to achieve.

5. You mentioned that you hoped to have perhaps 100 of the SS CERA'S assembled soon (end of the weekend?) . Hope you're going to show some love (LOL) to TITANIUM!!!!

We have the SS for the first 100 of each option (Loose Leaf, Essential Oil, E-Liquid). We will be assembling the essential oils cartridges over the weekend. (Hope to shoot the first essential oil demo video later tonight).

Next week will be cartridge assembly, then SS units, then Ti gets in and those units get assembled. Ti parts are requiring a very serious effort to get machined, they are on track and look to be pretty amazing. That is our dream vaporizer, the one that if we could pick our materials Structurally stabilized Zirconia and Titanium... tough to beat.

Thank you in advance. This is going to be EPIC!!

Thank you! for us it is about finding the people that are excited about what we do, and appreciate that we are bringing something distinct to the market. You guys are why we are here. Time to do a run/video with some concentrate through the Cera.

Cheers,

Noah

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
Ti will be the way 'I' go should the other two options be a go.

Waiting on the edge of my seat for the concentrate video & hopefully then.... the e-juice.

My anxiousness is building as this moves along .

What you guys need is a thorough cold weather test in a Canadian winter. Seriously, would be interested in seeing how it performs in cold weather, since it's going to be a cold winter up here. :D

Does the titanium put out as much heat? Will OF at least get to feel it so he can tell us the difference in holding it heatwise?

It made a big different with the T1. Performance drops away down. To be expected I'd say.

Working on the Essential Ol and E-Liquid videos tonight and tomorrow. Stay tuned.

No difference in performance regarding vapor production. The Cera Ti is lighter, more corrosion resistant, and stronger then the Stainless.

The battery takes 3 hours to charge?

From dead empty using a 1000 mAh/hr charger like the one we provide it would take a maximum of 3 hours (~3000 mAh capacity in the cell charging at 1000 mAh/hour). In practice I find most do no run the batteries to totally dead, so it is more like a 2 - 2.5 hour recharge. A wf-188 at 650mAh/hour would take over 3 hours.

Cheers,

Noah

Wow that is a sick video:o I always here all of you say this thing or the T1 was in indestructible but this is the real proof. I never looked at the t1 videos. I may search them out on you tube just to see what you all did to that poor thing.

On the contrary...the T1 hurt my groin...especially if I forgot to let it cool down before pocketing, or sat down funny (especially in the back pocket!:freak:) .

That is an awesome video! Talk about being informative and fun at the same time!

I noticed this has not been asked before, so let me go ahead and ask it -

How much does the Cera weigh? With and without the battery?

With battery the Stainless model is 12 oz.

The Ti model but I cannot remember of the top of my head... closer to 8 oz. I beleive. Typical High Grade (Sanyo/Panasonic - POM Japan, Samsung - Korea) 18650 weight 1.75 oz.

I have the Cera Essential Oil cartridge in my hand.... I am going to sign out and get shooting on a video.

We will leave it up to you guys if you want a separate thread for the Cera Essential Oil vape. Let us know and we willhave some new images and videos of the device in action up tonight.

Cheers!

Are we getting the shorter draws with herb before you do oil and concentrates?

Dreamerr,
.....it just keeps getting better and better! Seriously, has anybody seen any other manu. subjecting a pre-production Vape to this level of abuse publicly? Thanks again for the info on upcoming accessories, and for actualy answering questions from a swine like me.
Hell you guys should do this for a living. I hear there's money to be made in the vaporizer business. You could even use that new-fangled interweb thingy to market it. And if this Internet stuff turns out to just be a fad,do your own late night infomercial. And when electricity is outlawed you could.....well you could smear the ads on a cave wall with your own feces and I'd still line up to buy one.
Thanks again guys, you're raising the bar every time! (How bad would it suck if this whole thing was just a joke played by the Mods to win some sort of forum viewership contest)?

I wonder if that stuff would make good nails for doing dabs... hmmm Nice torch demonstration!
You know that is a great idea there Jam. It certainly can take the heat over and over. The only thing that may make that not feasible is possible cracking when the cooler oil hits the hot ceramic. I think ThermoVape or someone should look into this possibility, if it works I would certainly want one!

I love my quartz nails over titanium any day because I feel I get smoother, tastier vapor with quartz. The only thing I don't like is when I accidentally drop my quartz nail and suddenly need a new one because it broke. Making nails out of this awesome ceramic may completely solve that problem while keeping the plus sides of the smoothness and taste.

ThermoVape please look into this! Even if said nail would cost $100 I would still be interested in it because I already go through 2-4 quartz nails a year due to accidental dropping when medicated.

I know vapor nails aren't exactly your niche, but I can see a huge market for this type of thing if it worked the way I'm thinking it would.

I would like to see this upcoming oil video in its own Cera Essential Oil vape thread or have one started soon. As a new person to oil I would want to ask questions and follow convos other people have about it. I'm sure people that have no access to oils and only use the loose leaf vape don't want to read pages of oil talk among their talk. I'll save my questions till I watch the video as I'm sure some will be answered.

I remember the T1 and Rev threads getting tangled up and people started wanting to separate them to make it easier to keep up with the different devices and techniques to use them since they were somewhat different... might be a good move to start new ones, if the mods will allow it.

Maybe not before, but tonight as well. i think the first just quick demo of the Cera Essential Oil will go up first.

Just harm-reduction devices, vaporizers and the like. We would be happy to help you guys in any way we can, and we are pretty handy with manufacturing, however our business is vaporizers that we hope people use to not smoke.

We love collaboration, innovation, and doing whatever we can to help people make products in America. If you guys are serious, we are probably the right group to help you make it happen.

That is awesome! I am saving up for the Cera right now, however in the near future I could draft up some measurements and an image for what I would be working with to see if we could make it happen.

With the strength and thermal properties of that ceramic it could make for a better nail than my quartz, allowing me to better dial in perfect vaporization temperatures.
