I have an inhalater and the battery seems to discharge even when the device is off. Like, I used to charge it overnight, use it at work all day, bring it home, use it once or twice at home with my other pieces, then charge it for the next day, but as of two days ago, it no longer stops charging after a set period (the light never goes off, even after 8+ hours) and the inhalater stays hot after unplugged, even if not turned on, for about another hour or two, at which point it gets cold and will no longer turn on. I opened it up and removed the battery, which is still warm two hours after being removed from the inhalater. I have a version two (I think, anyway, it has 1-9 max dial and silver cap) and it was purchased in April 2012.

I would say that sounds like warranty work to me, you should still have a valad warranty if you purchased in 4/12. I would contact customer service from or the INH website and get that fixed.

Yeah I emailed their customer service in addition to this post. Just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced a similar problem and solved it. Pretty sure it's just a battery issue, because the battery seems to be discharging itself even after being removed from the inhalater, and those replacement batteries can be purchased on ebay for under 10 bucks

I would put that battery in a fire safe place if it's acting funny... not to freak you out but Li-ons can become unstable, and if that is unprotected and getting hot when not in use, I would be a bit concerned.

I agree with Jam. Dispose of that battery right away please. I can send you my INH battery(for cost of shipping), as I use an AW IMR.
Please put that thing some where safe(outside in coffee can?) and get rid of it asap. Send me a pm if you want mine.

Yeah that's a good idea. I'm trying to see if it eventually cools down, which would confirm that it is discharging itself automatically. It has been at a stable temperature (warm, but not hot) for several hours now (since about 930am this morning, it being 142pm now) so it is not overheating, but I don't think it is inert either. It just can't keep from discharging itself. too bad the only way I have to charge it for more testing is to put it back in the inhalater, which I am loathe to do.

Well I wouldn't advise getting rid of it completely. I'm assuming you will need that for warranty replacement. Just put it somewhere safe probably outside or something until you hear back from Inhalater.

I wonder if there is a picture or drawing somewhere of the air path in the INH... I have read people saying it works like Hippie Dickie's cube but is there any proof except the stellar convection performance?

Someone did have an issue which seems similar to yours but there's was over heating. It ended up being a circuit board issue that messed up the battery or the battery was just messed up. It needs to go back for warranty.

Natural farmer it was all you. I can't find shit with the search on here so you are just better then me. I read the post and it was more understandable then yours but still a bit of a mystery. I tried it with a empty stem far away from my solo since it was easier. I spilled water everywhere. I did manage to understand the bubbling in the mouth but the water went down the stem and with the INH I can't even imagine. I did try upside down and of course choked ugh. I still say it was you that was stoned.

Yeah I don't think mine is overheating or damaged electronically, I think it is just the battery malfunctioning. Anyway I think I'm gonna order this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-186...tery-Flat-Top-2800mAh-Fast-Ship-/370661824579 since the numbers on that battery match the ones on the inhalater (ICR18650-28A) and see if that fixes the problem, if it doesn't, then I'm probably gonna have to send it back to the company.

What do you mean by inline water filter? That looks pretty nice. Do you have any alternatives?

That was soooooo funny laughing at the end. I would have been funny to spit it at the camera hehe. Now I get it at least. You put water in bottom of your mouth and stick the stem in, hold vape upside down to use. Nothing tilted forward as both your post and that other one said. That was the confusing part. I will try it in a bit after I do it with no vape. I still don't get how you suck with the piece under water or in your case beer in your mouth. I will know when I try.

It's water man! No alcohol for me... And there is a slight tilt so the water comes in front of your mouth and you can breath without swallowing. The sucking is easy. If the water is in the front of your mouth you just inhale from the mouth with your lips sealed around the straw and voila! Bubbles! I really need to get some silicon, cut a few holes at the end, stick it to the mp and make a decent perc for my mouth bubbler!

Might actually be less likely to be asked about something of that nature... might be good for the other model(s) out there that are getting compared to pleasure devices too. I can see carrying it around in a bag if if checked how embarrassed with the security person be to see that and mistake it for what it looks like. Probably better off than them thinking it's some kind of "smoking" tool.
