Kush the INH is working great, I have been using my cloud more lately, but it's right here, charged and ready. Glad to see so many XPs being ordered. I am curious to see the reports. Looks like a vappy holiday ahead.

Does anybody know if the INH004 caps will fit in the new xp model?
I was thinking about this.....five minutes AFTER I ordered ten new caps

They will; Inhalater has mentioned their compatibility in older posts.

Well, I pulled the trigger yesterday and pre-ordered the XP. I had a hard time deciding between the Pax and the Inh004xp...but I went with, what appears to be, better performance over aesthetics. I'm sure I will be happy in the end....and I'm sure will end with both either way.

Which site did you preorder from?

Yes they will. (At least that's what I was told by PlanetVape after I ordered my INH004 and a couple caps ... the caps will be compatible with the XP model as well)

I pre-ordered through Planetvape.ca. 15% discount using the FC code and free shipping from Canada on anything over $130.00. . . looks like 4-5 business days once shipped. Pretty good deal.

I couldn't get FCLOVE15 to work, but FCLOVE10 worked

Oh, yeah, sorry. Same here, 10% discount, not 15%. My bad.

does anyone think there will be a significant price drop in the INH004 when the XP is released on the 20th?

Also, I'm considering buying the INH004, INH004XP, or the PAX, and would like the biggest bang for my buck. I will most likely just pre-order the XP, but if there will be a price drop or I can find the PAX for less than $200, I'll go for that one.

It sounds like a reasonable expectation since it will then be the old model or pre-revision since it is essence the same model.

Dreamerr,
I doubt the price drop will be significant enough to make you choose the old one over the new. Unless of course you get lucky and find someone selling their old one in the classifieds.

Or they could just suddenly stop selling the older model, like some other manufacturers have done.

Yeap! :D I really can't believe the build quality of this thing and the massive clouds it can produce!!! Let me tell you one thing! If you fill the whole capsule, the Solo doesn't even come close in vapor production... It's still behind if you half-fill it!!! Oh boy! So excited already after 3 sessions!!!

Half capsule is still more than the Solo bowl isn't it? Just to understand what you mean exactly. Because i feel i would be more indulging with the INH than the Solo. :D

Glad you like your new toy! And that grinder looks nice next to it. ;)

Half a capsule is a Solo bowl with the same packing... Will need to experiment more of course as I feel vapor production is completely different here. It seems more effortless. Conduction plays it's role for sure, more so than the Solo, even if you are used to leave the stem in the heater during the session. I love it so far. Now I really really can't imagine how much better can the XP be!

Will wait for me Saxo bubbler to arrive too and then it's photo time! :p

Ok ... so this is now my 5th portable (not including my Glass VG's and other lighter based ones and only counting the 4 Solo's I've owned as 1), and I gotta say ... first impressions after a full day of use ... it's significantly better than all my other portables IMHO. The polyimide, which turned me off this product in the first place, now has a convinced customer ... after lots of research into it (and obviously lots of satisfied customers with this vape), I finally ordered one as I felt the polyimide seemed safe and inert. So far so good ... best tasting of my portables and works wonders.

- Best tasting of my portables
- Best airflow of my portables
- Easiest to maintain/clean of my portables
- Easiest to charge of my portables
- Pax wins for size/stealth
- Solo wins for durability (the polyimide chamber could get damaged at some point as it's quite thin ... I don't count the capsules and/or stems in this as those are easily replaceable and relatively cheap)

I really like the design; very similar to Hippie Dickie's except uses polyimide instead of glass, which I at first didn't like but now feel it has it's advantages as far as ability to quickly transfer and dissipate heat which translates to more even vaporization without stirring, better battery life, and quicker cooling after use (worth noting that these are based on guesses/observation and not on fact).

The Cloud "bamboo" (glass tube) also uses a similar heating technique, or so it seems (wrapped chamber that another chamber with herb is placed in), and seems to offer similar efficiencies (obviously significantly different due to battery vs AC, however, there seem to be similarities).

Just some thoughts after my first day of use and my opinions could obviously change as I use it out and about in real world situations (like when travelling). I'll post back my revised thoughts/opinions after some more thorough use ...

Lurker turned poster. Okay so first post here... so I'm currently on drug court for my mflb and some avb. I'm planning on getting an xp when I'm done.

I've been keeping my eye on the inhalater. I read this thread and am curious to the exact upgrades of the xp. Its releasing pretty soon. I'd like to know what they mean by "improved electronics and durability".

With it releasing so soon, any chance anyone could email the manufacturer and squeeze some more details?
