Did you try stirring the flowers around after you didnt get very good hits? Not saying for sure itll fix it and i only skimmed over your posts, but ive experienced the same issue a couple times with and without a water adapter and i think it was cause i packed the flowers too tight or the screen was clogged cause when i took it out and mixed it around a little it always fixes the problem and i gethuge clouds

Edit:ive filled bags before and then go to hitfromit and realize theres no visible vapor in the bag, take the wand out and atirred the flowers around fixes the problem for me...
I did stir the flowers repeatedly, yes. I don't know if they could have been packed too tightly, but I don't think so. The air flow seemed ok, and still I could hardly get any visible vapor at all, even with high temperatures.

Yeah I was just saying...its only happened a couple times with mine, and im pretty sure it was only when filling bags up and stirring it fixed it for me... Is hot air coming out of yours? I find it uncomfortable to hold my hand in front of the heating chamber. For more than a couple seconds...sounds like yours might be defective either way though so id probably call them up. Or if you submit a thingy on their website and leave ur phone number they usually call you as soon as they recieve the message

Also, blwoing under a desk lamp will help see if your actually getting anything or not...but i usually use mine around 350 and even in the dark have no problem seeing the vapor

Thanks for the info. There was some invisible vapor, as I felt some effects, but not very much. Almost no visible vapor, though. There was definitely hot air coming out of the heating chamber, but suspect it wasn't hot enough. Perhaps the 220V could have something to do with it... But it should work fine either way.

I must say I hope Vaporfection will deliver on the promise of superior customer support. ("We pride ourselves on customer service, so expect a response sooner than later.") I e-mailed them about this on the morning of Nov. 17 and haven't heard anything yet. I also e-mailed them on Nov. 7, after I ordered the miVape, and asked if there was an estimated shipping date. I never heard back. I did get a reply from Dan, however, when I asked if I could scan and e-mail them the $50 rebate card that they sent me (the $50 mail-in rebate was promised on their web site), and he told me the rebate would be denied, since I used another rebate code when I ordered. Ok, I guess, but why even send me the card?

I e-mailed them again about the defective unit today, and I'm hoping for the best, though I am getting I tiny bit concerned. I prefer to do this by e-mail, since I live in Norway.

I know many people have had a great experience with Vaporfection, and I'm hoping I'll be one of those people soon.

Edit: I received an e-mail from Dan with return instructions, so that's a relief. :) Looking forward to big viVape-clouds in the new year then.

yo whats up guys its been a while since i posted in here. Anyways I was experimenting with my vivape and I have found when using the bag method it is way way more effective to take real small hits and pass it around, you get more hits and it's a way better effect than just trying to suck in as much as you can

Dormouse, when you sent them emails did you fill out one of the forms on their website, when i had problems I filled out that form and left my number and they called me about the issue i was having right away. If youve just been emailing them and they havent gotten back to you i would try that. Or if you can call them, just give them a ring theyre really friendly and helpful. (Usually)

Also, about your rebate issue thing, ive noticed while they do have excellent customer service, they do have some quirks. Already posted this but my first unit glass chamber snapped 4 days after i bought it, I called and asked if it was too late to order their 24 hr extended warranty replacement and they said "you can still purchase the extended warranty and we will fix your unit when we get it and send it back with overnight shipping"(not an exact quote).
I then said that the descriptiom was different in their store and says you recieve a replacement 24 hours after they get my broken one and they then told me since i already broke my unit i could not purchase the extended warranty but once i receive a working replacement It would be fine to purchase it. Not exactly the same issue you had with rebates but its still an annoying way to handle loyal customers

I e-mailed them directly (support, and later sales). I had already registered the vV, so they had my phone nr., but I preferred to correspond via e-mail anyway, since I live in Norway. I did eventually get the reply from Dan than I mentioned in the "edit", so that's fine. I'll send it back for repairs. It just really sucks to receive a defective unit when I (have to) order internationally. I hope I don't have to pay another 25% VAT (madness!) plus fees on top of the new shipping charges... And I really hope the miVape will be working when they (hopefully) ship it.

There's no way to get around this, so I shouldn't complain. I just have to be patient, I guess. On the bright side, my other recent acquisitions, the Solo + PVHES + Mobius 65B, are performing beyond my wildest expectations -- almost to the point that I wonder why I needed another stationary unit. So all in all, I'm still smiling. :)

Yes it was. viVape2 did not heat up very well.works now
Sounds exactly like mine. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it quickly.

Yeah I prefer to correspond via email too, but the two time I had to submit a support form, they responded by calling me within 30 minutes to an hour after i submitted it to try and fix the issue or explainwhat was ging on which i thought was very considerate. That was more than 6 months ago. However you will need to pay the shipping fees to get your broken one to them(which is the case with most companies) however they will pay to get it back to you and itll probably be a brand new unit. If your in Norway, I would highly recommend the 24 hr extended warranty unless its too late (overnight replacement from when they receive it)

And dont get your hopes up on the Mivape, the last prototype was supposed to be tweaked in August and the productin schedule was supposed to be set a couple weeks after that but their last post on here they were waiting to get a second prototype. I dubt itll be out anytime soon and when it finally does come out itll still probably need to be tweaked into a mivape 2

Looks like theyre getting desperate...im sure that deal will be around for a while just like the "limited time" 50$ rebate that was and still is offered when the vivape originally came out

Wow.

That's with the $50 Vaporfection's mail rebate? Can't beat that deal...

The vivape2 is now $224.50 at vapeworld with coupon code vivape50

Shilling episode aside, I had to grab one for my collection at this price. Not sure how much use it will get be we'll see. I read through this entire thread and I don't see any reason not to give it a shot. Since I don't have a bag filler I'm excited to try vaping in that manner without the cano price tag!

I don't think this price is eligible for any rebates though...

HI everyone,
I've been lurking this forum for a while since I bought the original arizer extreme a few years ago. I recently purchased a vivape 2 to take advantage of the christmas discount, and after seeing some of the videos in this thread of nice thick vape clouds at temps as low as 340F!

So my VV2 arrived today, and I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed. I think I may have a defective unit, as I'm having the same symptoms as doormouse.

My herb is nicely cured and ground up, I've tried loading near empty, half and full bowls, slow draws, fast draws, whip hit, water pipe, bag, at different temps with very little success.

At 340-380F where most people are vaping, I get no vapour at all. At 190C, I get a tiny bit. I only get slightly decent vapour at 230C, and there is less than my original arizer extreme. After 8 long water pipe hits on the vape, increasing from 190C on first hit, to 220C on second, and 230C from there, my herb is still fairly green. This is a key indicator to me that something is not right; within a few pulls on the arizer it would be nice and light brown. I just cant seem to get the nice crisp brown vape poo that I normally get, and it sucks to be wasting so much herb.

When filling a bag, the bag remains clear with the tiniest whisp of vapour in it.

On top of this, the glass herb bowl doesn't get that hot. I can comfortably hold it for at least 5-10 seconds at the part closest to the vivape when the bowl is plugged in (at 190C). At 230C, my IR thermometer measured the temp on the tip of the herb bowl (which goes inside the vivape) to be 71C. It is blowing hot air, but I can hold my palm approx 4cm from the vivape opening for about 15 seconds before it gets too hot.

I was so damn excited to get this, as the arizer is not enough to get me off combustion. I need something that will deliver thick tasty vapour on the whip, and I thought this was it.

Living in Australia doesn't help, I've paid $50 to ship it here, and will most likely be asked to pay shipping back to vaporfection - another $50. i will be very dissatisfied if this is the case, as straight out of the box this was faulty, and I'm expected to pay for their faults? There's obviously quality control issues with these things if there are numerous reports of heater failures, units dying after 6 months etc. I guess I'll be buying the 24 hr replacement warranty now!

You sure have a faulty unit as everything you describe don't fit a bit with the exceptional performance of the vV 2 in it's normal state.

I would send an e-mail to dan@vaporfection.com and explain the situation. Please keep in mind that it might take longer to reply to you e-mail since we are in the holiday's peak...

I wish you could enjoy your vV 2 right now. Rest assured that you have bought one of the very best vaporizer on the market in my opinion. I really love that vape. So much that i impulsively bought a second one as part of Vapeworld sale.

thanks for your quick response. I emailed dan as you advised, and hopefully I'll get a response early in the new year.

What do you think my chances are of having the faulty unit replaced through the Australian dealer to reduce downtime? Can Vaporfection request their dealer network provide replacements even if the item wasn't purchased from that dealer?

I doubt it, I was told vaporfection likes to handle all warranty claims directly, in house which is also why yur supposed to register it. It wuld make it alot easiwr and most dealrers and distributors would be willing to do it if they chanegd the policy.

I would'nt count on that. You have to deal with Vaporfection directly for the whole process. Maybe your unit was damaged during shipping? A hard shock could enable the heater without external trace i suppose...

Please be patient. Your are just a couple of corners away from a really pleasent vaping experience.

I received my unit from VW following the sale. I must say that I am not impressed and I havent even used it yet. First off, if this is supposed to be new, im not so sure that it is. I ordered a Black one and it came wrapped up, but when i took the plastic off it had scratches and fingerprints all over it. Not how I like a BRAND NEW item to look. Im thinking about just returning the whole thing for a refund.
