Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

I like the idea of smaller size and better battery but hope they don't change much more. Is that the plan? To make it so the unit vaporizes the load faster? I don't like the sound of that.. I like to make my sessions last

I haven't read anything from INH so of course it's an assumption. In my mind though, when they talk about Extra Performance and as the heater currently can't keep up with fast draws, I imagine hotter temps. As Kaptan mentioned above they could go for less heat loss. Now I don't see how this could be done without limiting the fresh air supply or raising the temps a little but who am I to say for now? Very excited to watch the evolution of such an efficient little dildo, erm vaporizer... Can't wait for mine to hit the post office!

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
I will be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad if the restrict the air flow. I think the unit is perfect and the new one is suppose to just be an improvement not a change. If it is a change I would move the INH down my list far. Making it hotter is stupid IMHO cause you can turn the temp up. If they make it hotter I will end up using it on 1 or 2 which is....dunno:shrug:. Really it was suppose to just be a circuit board change to fix some over heating issues and better battery life. They have said nothing about other changes. If they are making major changes I bet that will be in the INH05 and they can keep it if it is messing with the air flow.

Well ... after stalking this thread forever, finally broke down and ordered one of these from PV (to join my Solo and Pax for portables). Should be here Monday I imagine so I can finally try one out. (I guess the smart thing to do would have been to wait for the XP, but by then the money would have burnt a hole through my pocket and have been lost forever ...)

The XP is one a few weeks away!

I guess I will be letting you know how it is. Not that I know how it compares to the regular Inh :p

It's OK to enjoy your medicine.
This might clear up how the XP is different? Italics added.

I received an email from Greg at Pharmacor technology regarding the new XP model. Here's the email pasted word for word:

Many thanks for your patronage and interest in Inhalater technology.

The model your discribe; with digital temperature and battery level display along with internet communication is in fact the INH005. This model is scheduled for release in 2014.

The XP is in essence upgraded electronics and will have the same basic exterior appearance and dimensions. The branding will be somewhat more discrete and it will be also available in anodised black aluminum finish.

The XP electronics supply, in my opinion, a 25% increase in performance. This is mostly related to a new heating chambre with flat heating elements for better heat distribution and quicker reacting temperature sensing.

The XP additionnaly has an Automatic temperature setting; this setting is to be used with prefilled Inhalater tobacco capsules. In fact, I beleive this will be the first vaporizer on the market to permit enjoyable use of tobacco.

Don't hesitate if you have any other questions
Best regards
Greg

And yes, I just pre-ordered mine (about time! lol)

So, in essence, we are talking mostly about changing the electronics a bit and instread of a tubular coil, the polyimide tube will be surrounded by flatter heating elements (flatter coil?). Doesn't better heat distribution mean faster vaporization of the load inside? Quicker reacting temperature sensing means it will start blinking (heating) faster and it will stop heating faster as far as I can understand. So, these changes point to a device that might have better battery life (but not by much), maybe even more/faster vapor production (as if it wasn't plenty/fast enough) and an elevated sense of honesty as to what it shows to it's user.
If I am right, I won't feel stupid when the XP hits the shelves. If there is more under the hood, I will just load some more capsules to forget and let the time heal my feelings... :p

I'm sorta' ok with having the INH regular one first ... and if I really like it, then I'll get the XP and sell this one (I like the idea of the black anodized ... the black anodized on the Pax is slick!); and if I'm not a huge fan in comparison with my Solo and Pax than my search for portables will continue elsewhere (I'm sure I could even trade it with someone for something else of interest)

Something tells me we won't see a black anodized sticker but a matte one like the pic they shared some time ago... The other colours seem "anodized". But it's really a sticker. Same black plastic underneath and I have to say I like it more than a sticker! :p

Hi Guys I am thinking of using my inhalator with some dried flower that has been soaked in a small amount of PG e-juice. My plan is to increase the amount of visible cloud and vape at the lowest temp which should preserve the weed as well.
Any thoughts?

These capsules seem to disagree with me, I broke one and my friend broke one so far. Sometimes they feel like they are stuck in there pretty good. Am I doing something wrong?

VAPOLITICS!
If stuck (resin build up most probably) heat it up on low temps a few seconds before extracting the capsule from the unit, voila, easy sliding!
I also have disassembled one and rebuilt it from scratch...Nothing very complicated!

That's interesting... Would you mind for some photos of the procedure? A friend of mine got his Inh and the resin tube inside the main body was deformed. He waited for a month to get his warranty exchanged Inh back and if we knew we could fix it ourselves so he spared the trouble...

Hmm yeah I figured resin might have something to do with it so I had been heating it up when removing them, but then I also decided to clean my chamber to play it safe since I only have one capsul left and it still seems pretty tight.

Do you mean you disassembled a capsule or an entire unit? Because I still have all the peices to my capsule and nothing is broke the plastic film just separated from the rest. I figure there has to be a way to re assemble one

He means the capsule. We both re assembled a capsule, I being a bit less successfull and ending up with a not so perfect circle. But it worts just fine. It's a pain in the ass to do imho though. Just take the white part out by levering it trom the center with a pen for ex and push from the side at the same time. Then the tricky part is to succeed to put back everything together as it was...but it's doable.

Ok... I am vaped enough to draw a pretty good picture of the disassembly in my mind since my INH isn't here yet. :( I 've also got my eye on that 10-arm tree Saxo bubbler with the big base from Grasscity. It comes at a nice price these days! :p What ID-OD Silicon tube should I get to mate the INH with the 18.8mm GonG of the bub (placed over the blue tip I guess or not?)? I would prefer a single piece of silicon over the black plastic...

Natural farmer did you see BDV's video of the 10 arm MFLB milk? :o I have the 8 arm black leaf bub and I love it! Perfect size and anything more expensive, I'd never pick up in fear of breaking.

XP? Cera? XP? Cera?
Aaaaghhh!

I 've watched it so many times foxy and already ordered it from GC some hours ago! :p Went for the 10-arm because of the bigger base. Good to know you are enjoying yours so much! :D I hope it comes the same day with the INH so I can test them together for the first time. Oh boy! A happy month till the end of the world!

Oh... XP all the way! Always so many extras to buy with their vaporizers to have the whole package. With Inhalater it just works... :2c:
