Well it looks like my INH has got lost in the post, so I'm not sure what to do now. Should I buy another one or wait till after christmas and buy an XP?

Well I always got the impression that the INH was an automatic T1 but not using the T1 I wouldn't know for sure. Maybe slim or Jam will chime in if that is correct. I think there are a few others that have both.

no real serious comparison to the T1. The T1 can be boiled. The T1 is made of very high quality materials and might have a slight flavor advantage assuming you can get vapor from it. Battery life, ease of use, quality of extraction, quantity of vapor, medicating effect, warm up time, etc all much better on the INH.

The T1 is not in the same class as the INH. I've posted on this in detail in my earlier reviews of the INH where I compare and contrast the INH, my old reference the solo and my T1 and Revolution.

Misc ramblings after catching up on the thread.

Not one of my friends so far can operate the T1 even after I tell them how. All of them have no issue operating the solo or the INH

and super glue has held my knob on for 2 months.

as others have said rubber bands help with knob. I like a hair band.

and my capsules have been used daily for 3 months now and all are still working fine.

I have not reported back in a long time in this thread
I have used the Inhalater for a solid month.
It got used for 2 out of the house jobs/chores/outings daily
I changed my capsule once, because I did not know how to treat it well... but this one has gone a few weeks.
I just gave the Inhalater a few days off, so I could get the feel of coming back to it.
I am sitting here right now vaping some Durban Poison (Devils Highway) in it.
This is a wonderful vape alright, and I have not had one issue with it since I got it from PlanetVape.
I am enjoying having this vape in my collection~

We will have available a pocket size carry case for 6 capsules a little after christmas. Interior seperator is made to hold capsules and keep substrate safely inside. Will be very affordable.
I see the xp is for preorder on planetvape, I am very intrested but curious about the black, in the one pic you posted of the stickered models the black one was shorter and had a silver strip on the knob. Do you have any full body pics of the inh004xp? Also had there been any improvments in the knob since the last batch? Thanks for you time, looking forward to xmas with this toy.

The XP will be 1/4 inch shorter than the present unit. All units on image were INH004 used for color appraisal. The black being a first generation unit with the aluminum knob was a little shorter.

The knob problem was transitory and is now resolve.

I just got mine today and took it to a party tonight. So far I am really enjoying it. The clouds werent as thick as I had expected, but I'm not sure if that is a bad thing, I like thin vapor as long as I get medicated, and I would say I got medicated. Also the ABV is very impressive, I would say the best of all my vapes. The capsules get vaped a bit faster than I expected I keep getting them pretty dark.

It is actually a tad smaller than I expected

So far I am very happy

How long into a bowl does taste last? In other words, how many hits until the fresh taste/abv taste crossover?

just curious if you had the exact measurements of the XP?? i am trying to find a vape that fits a certain pouch and so far there is only one vape that fits it and as sad as i am to say it... it's not yours. Yours is close but maybe if the XP is wee bit smaller it may fit.

I'm thinking about getting the INH, and I might wait until the XP comes out. What's the avg load size for the INH?

around .2 - .3; you can fit .4 in there if you pack it real good.

How long would said load last? Some heavy hitters with big loads give me a similar session time to more efficient log vapes/the solo with smaller bowls. Does the INH last longer with the greater load?

The really great thing with the INH; is that it lasts as long as you want it too. Because the temperature control is so fine-grain on it; you have the ability to start really low and gradually work your way up (while still getting great clouds) or start a little higher and step up faster if you need a quicker session.

I've spent half an hour on the same load while still getting nice hits the whole time. For that I start at 3 or 4, and go up 1 every 5 minutes or so. The taste stays great longer that way too. But if I only have time for a quick session then I'll start on 6 and work up every couple of minutes.

The temp control makes this cartridge-style unit a definite winner.
So this way I could fill a cartridge, head out with it for general day to day stuff and take a couple hits every now and again, and I probably wouldn't need to refill until I get home?
Another question - can the INH004 be left on whilst not hitting it (like the solo, you can just pick it up and hit it and put it back down for however long you need whilst it stays on)?

Depending on your tolerance level; I think that would work. I don't tend to do this much, but when I do I make sure to keep hitting it once the heat is off to cool the unit so that it won't smell/heat ambiently. What might also interest you is prefilling one or two extra cartridges and carrying them with you till you need them. Inhalater has told us that they plan on having a convenient carrying case available for the cart's by Christmas. For now, I just use tiny slices of earplug or seran wrap to keep them sealed and a doob tube to carry.

You can leave it on without hitting it; but like the solo, there is a slight loss of vapor over time due to capillary action and the fact that hot air rises. I find that the overall loss is less than the solo; however, and much of the vapor produced by the conduction stays in the chamber, waiting for you. So while it's not a perfect situation, it is definatly something that you can do.

The INH sounds good to me! I have half an eye on the Cera but the temp control on the INH is favourable. I was a bit put off the large load at first but it sounds like an efficient device where I'm not getting less out of the large capacity then, say, three stems of the solo. I'm going to wait on the XP seeing as it's out so soon and go for that. Thanks CentiZen for the informative replies :)

For T1 to use it easy u need to pre-heat it for like 15-20 sec then u can suck as much as u want :D

You don't have to load the capsule if you don't want to and want to do a smaller session. I have dumped the solo stuff in a cap when the solo is done to ME. I get a bunch more hits and it fills less then a half of a cap if you want to compare. I use the stock stem in the solo.

Soooooo.... After rigorous tests this weekend (friends came by with PAX and INH in hand)...

there was a clear winner...

j3u8ZZYej0tTR.jpg

http://minus.com/l3u8ZZYej0tTR

All three contenders were tried indoors, outdoors, through bubbler, through vapor lung and straight from the mouthpieces! The PAX left me with mixed feelings due to the taste spoiling fast, much smaller clouds than the other two and harder loading and unloading of the herbs. It was the most discreet of course and the coolest to hold in your hands! Not impressed overall...
The Solo was amazing as always but not so good for the road as expected. The Inhalater while it gave me a bad first taste as it wasn't ever properly cleaned, it came back roaring after the cleansing and would give me bigger clouds than the Solo, of better taste and it was just a joy to handle overall. Bigger clouds and taste were solely due to the bigger load. The extraction was on par with the Solo if not better... The more you sucked after the taste was pop-corny the darker it got. Just like the Solo.

So, the INH is a better Solo in my book and yes, I ordered it moments ago although the XP is almost ready to hit the shelves... Never mind that, the INH is already an amazing device that fulfils most of my vapor needs and when I hopefully get the XP the older one will serve as a back up or as a trial device for wannabe vaporist friends!

Can't wait to peel it's silver wrap! :D

Party! Scatter!

PS. direct links from pics don't work today???

How is your throat with the INH...did you add a long tube like I said? I knew you would like this. If you add the tube you won't need the lung.

No need for lung for personal use... a small bubbler works just fine. Direct hits too. My throat stopped being a problem since I started vaping like puffing a cigar. Not even the Solo at 7 or the PAX or the INH gave me any throat problems with this technique. It's great that the INH takes a bigger load. It's faster to medicate and you get a richer flavour and aroma... Loved it!!! Oh, and no tube needed, just the blue tips or without!
