We're here to fuck shit up.
Suggestions please? Right now I'm juggling three units around in my head. The Herbalaire, the Extreme Q, and the LSV. I've already got a Volcano for filling bags. I would also want to use the unit through my water pipes. What do I go with?

Out of those three I think the LSV would be best with water pipes. And if you already have a volcano the Extreme Q's muti purpose feature isn't as glamorous.

I was hoping for a bit more input from more members, but right now I'm looking for a good deal on an LSV.

Yeah I wouldn't buy solely from my post, I do not own any of those vapes besides the Extreme Q, but i've done a lot of reading :p

I second placetime's post, have you considered a log? I only own a couple vapes but my underdog is my favorite and works great with water filtration

Any consideration for the VapeXhale? Pricey but the perfect connoisseur's home vape and complements the volcano great.

LSV over the Q all day long for using with a bubbler. It's all I've used since I got it a week ago. I can't speak to the Herbalaire...never used one. But if you already have glass you like to use, the LSV is a no-brainer, imo. It's as close to the Cloud as I've come across and is pretty cheap for what it does. The best deal I found was from 7th Floor. I got mine from vapeworld because i had a credit with them and they matched 7th Floor's pricing.

I registered at VapeXhale and I've been so close to ordering, but I just can't bring myself to do it right now. I really don't need the hydra tube and that $500 price tag is a bummer compared to around $200 for the LSV. I've never tried a log vape. I'll have to look into them and see if there's anything that I like. Right now, the LSV is the front runner. The more I read about it and the more vids I see of it in action are making me lean heavily in that direction. Plus it looks like a friggin light saber!

You can always run a whip from your volcano to your glass :brow: Only other 7th floor product I have used is the SSV and it's awesome, so I imagine the LSV would be pretty solid, although I have never tried.

If you want to run it through glass, and already have a bag blower, IMO the LSV wins hands down from the 3 you listed :)

From the 3 you listed, if you didn't have a bag blower, the HA, but since you do it appears the LSV would be best.

you can consider the VHW v/s the LSV if a bong is going to be used. I am quite sure the VHW will taste better than the LSV.

This thing looks fragile, way too fragile for the savages that come by my house sometimes. I am curious as to why you believe that the vapor produced by the VHW will taste better than the vapor produced by the LSV?

I looked into some log vapes and the ones that I was looking at were more expensive than the LSV. I'm afraid I'll have to pass on the log vapes.

I'm still thinking about the Extreme Q due to the versatility and that it could easily become a replacement in case my Volcano ever craps out.

It's because with the vrip; the element is surrounded by glass so no air ever touches any thing but glass. However, you are right; the bowls are notoriously fragile.

The LSV, you still get a little extra taste from various things; from dust mites coming in contact with the element to the slight (and in 7th floors case; very slight) taste from the element itself.

I would say don’t get an EQ, also if you are afraid of your volcano to break down sometime. If its really not working anymore, just send it to Storz and Bickel. They will repair it for little money, clean the internals and change some used parts for free. Then you can sell it for lots of money or just keep it for lots of years. ;)

Personally I think a log vape (me got a WW) is a great complement to the volcano!
Its ready everytime, simple, efficient, very tasty via direct draw glass stem and still very tasty and smooooth via GonG with a bubbler.

The Vrip is really not that fragile until and unless your really clumsy, with a little bit of care you should not face a problem.

The main advantage with the VHW or Vapexhale Cloud would be the best taste and even extraction, you already own a volcano, lsv/eq according to me will be redundant but the vhw/vxc will give you a significant upgrade over your present vaporizers and is worth spending the cash on for the longer run.

From what I've seen it looks like the LSV and the VHW do almost the exact same thing? How would the VHW be a significant upgrade over any of the vaporizers I own now?

I already said that the Cloud is a no go for me at $500 and that this VHW just looks too fragile for my needs. I don't want to have to handle the units I purchase with kid gloves. I need them to be durable, especially at the prices they go for. Are you at all biased because you own a VHW?

Chances are that I'll be going with the LSV. Tough, decently priced, and it does exactly what I'm looking for, direct draw that I can use with glass.

Deadshort480,
Don't give up on the log Vape to quick!
There's a lot to be said for something that's always ready to go. My best friend has an Underdog that's left plugged-in 24/7. It's real nice to lean over and get killer hits whenever the need arises. Just the thing for video games and most sports !
Check out some of the log vapes on this site. Seems like you can get into a pretty sweet one for less than 300$.
I've been dropping heavy hints to Wifey that a nice log Vape would make a perfect x-mas present. And if that doesn't work I'll threaten her cat....rotten bastard that it is.
Worth thinking about..:hmm:

The LSV is cheaper than the logs, has better taste and an unmatched airflow, imo. For what this guy is looking for, I don't see a better option. If you've already got glass and just want to wait until the Cloud base unit releases on its own, I could see that making sense, but I don't know what the cost will be for it. I just turn my LSV on early in the afternoon, hang it on the wall and it is ready to go all day until I crash. Two nights ago I forgot about it and left it on all night...no problems. I'll say this for the LSV, it seems ot extract most of what I want in two to three pulls, no matter how much I put in. Makes for great quick sessions that are pounding me...also has the potential to go crazy with my tolerance. I'll need to be more disciplined about how much I put in there because the big bowls are so much fun!

For sure,If Vape Bonging is the priority then it's the LSV all the way. I'm pretty sure it was designed from the start with VBing in mind. It's made by 7th Floor,so the engineering is solid, and they have a good rep. as far as customer service goes.
You know ya want one....just flip over to the LSV homepage, pick out a bitchin' color scheme and stop the voices.

maybe consider replacing the volcano with the HA, which will cover all the bases, and has a more efficient bag extraction design.

oh, and it's extremely durable.

Crazy talk! Replace my Volcano? Never, ever, ever. My Volcano efficiently extracts and has been doing so for about 8 years. I just want something for direct draw and glass.

that's fine if you think it extracts efficiently, but the HA requires no grinding. have you considered what is lost during grinding? not only that, but it requires no stirring. those are two advantages it has over the volcano, but also you get multiple functions, including a very easy direct draw with glass.

oh, lets not forget the cost difference, as well as the customer service.

it really is more efficient than a volcano, just throw the abv from the volcano in the HA and see.

I try to keep my ABV light so that I can make edibles or oil from it. The customer service I have dealt with over my Volcano has been to notch. I'm not very concerned with the miniscule amount that I may lose when grinding. The HA is definitely something I'd like to try, but I'm just really enthralled by the LSV right now. I will never get rid if my Volcano, I love it too much.

My friends call me "Menz"
as i told you the evening i was over I LOVE MY BUDDHA!!! i run it through my bubbler as well as dry with the whip. It's solid and sits firmly so knocking it over is out of the question. i get huge clouds and can make the can of my bub milky white. so i would be safe to say any of the 7th floor products will do you lovely!!! the SSV is the big daddy and the buddha is his little brother. so i can only assume the LSV would be awesome too. I feel the same way about my buddha as you do for your cano. so going with any 7th floor product will be the way to go.

c'mon up sometime and i will let you rip off it, it's the least i could do after you did the same for me.
