I have four grinders and I can't tell the difference between them. One is a VW freebie. One is a plastic cheap freebie. One is more expensive middle of the road cnc machined on ebay(seller has different quality grinders). Another freebie from puffitup.

sounds like all you have are freebie's or plastic ones. Get one of these name brand ones and you'll notice a difference. Space case, santa cruz, or mendo muncher.

I was thinking of a mendo...I will check into them...my one I bought on ebay is nice but like I said I don't see the difference and I am sure you are correct they are all cheap. Only one is plastic.

Just got to point out that freebie grinders arent always bad, just depends on where from. I have a non magnetic space case, which i absolutely love for home use. But i have two smaller freebie grinders that are just as good. One is aNother sponsered retailers branded 4 piece freebie grinder (i dont think they have them anymore, used to be for sale on their site but it not there anymore. i think it was produced by aerospaced and rebranded but not positive) which is almost as good as my spacecase just smaller and the other was from a different sponsered retailer, was supposed to be a 4 piece but they screwed up and sent me a 2 piece. Seems really well constructed, but i never used it.

That being said, im probably just being snobby, but if i didnt have any grinders right now and had to buy one I wouldnt hesitate to get another space case. Buy it online though, i got ripped off at my LHS.

Oh I wasn't saying they are shitty just not as good lol. I actually have had that exact grinder your talking about 4 piece aerospace or something. The only thing I noticed about the cheap ones is the metal usually starts to flake off.

I went through a bunch of cheapies before settling on my space case which has served me well. Cuts better, hasn't chipped or broken.

Are you talking about flaking with the aerospaced freebie one? I havent experienced the metal flaking at all with my freebie, which has been used, more or less, daily since i received it over a year ago.

When u were mentioning high end grinders i was gonna add about remembering about a shredder one, and just realized its the santa cruz looks sounds like its been reworked from the one i remember though. Do you (or anyone else out there have a space case and the santa cruz that can offer a comparison because after looking at it on PV im highly interested. Looks just as good as the space case but would it be worth buying to replace my space case? If anyone does have the Shredder, the second pic on PV of a small blue one showing all pieces, looks like the shredder i remember, is the black one thats not taken apart a new model. Because those long wide holes on the blue one look horrible, and it says you wontnget any small BB sized clumps anymore but from the picture of the blue one I dont see how thats possible

I haven't found any flaking as of yet with any of my three metal grinders. I think vito has both the spacecase and the shredder, ask him.

the flaking I got was from a freebie blue one I got when I ordered my da buddha, but that was probably 5 years ago now.

i have many grinders... alot were free. my first was given to me during the pot parade in NYC and was a wooden sweel leaf grinder and i still have it. the others are mostly steel/metal and i have one freebie plastic that is actually really good. i got a storz and bickel volcano grinder for free and i use it alot

PlanetVape said they'd be released after the bubbler. Since the bubbler isn't even out yet, I'd say we're at least a few months away from High Efficiency GonGs.

We are using our time to get these products available as soon as possible and apologize for not updating our posts here more often. The PVHEGonG has been released, our new herbalAire Fritted GonG Adapter has been released, the limited quantity have sold out and we want to see the performance of the fritted screen under various usage conditions before we make a lot of them.

The FC Bubbler is taking longer than expected, still waiting on our fuckcombustion logo so we can get them going, show photos of the final product and start taking pre orders.

We like how you think. Yes we are already working on it, herbalAire has an advantage here as the bowl diameter is slightly larger allowing the use of a slightly larger frit for better airflow. The Solo stems are called the PVHES Signature Series and will feature a fritted screen, all the PVHES mods and an all new made entirely in North America custom stem with our Perfect Fit technology.
