Herb Grinders

You can't go wrong with the Santa Cruz Shredder. It feels like a tank and works extremely well. I have the large 4 piece and I love it. I also own a med SC and a Mendo but the SCS is my favorite.

I am pretty sure thats why. I have used the black SC and noticed areas where the black has chipped off. fuck that shit, man. I use a regular 2 piece SC now. gonna add a Santa Cruz Shredder in too.
Thanks for this information. Now I can make a better decision and save wasting money on a gimmick.

Cheers:tup:

I personally did not give the Titanium 2 piece a chance to chip.
I found that the fit was snugger due to the coating, and that was what turned me off... I felt that it would "jam" with debris on the sliding surface more easily.
Also I was warned to NOT knock the grinder halves together after my grinder or I would chip it(I was told this by a vape dealer)
That is part of my routine... the knocking of the halves to release herb... that would be a rough habit to break!

The coating on my SC Ti did chip off after only a few months. Stopped using it when I noticed this.

Instead of hitting the bottom half on the top half to get the leftover herbs, (which I, too, used to do) I just knock them on their sides. It does the job just as well and you don't have to worry about breaking the teeth. :2c:

That is exactly what I do. If I gave any other impression, I communicated poorly.
I knock the halves together (obviously by the sides so the meds can fall downward onto the dish~)

It gunks up worse than any other grinder I have owned in 30 years. The holes need clearing after every round of grinding.

I Dont post much here, mostly cruise...Im more of a smoker then a vaporist, but i did get a shredder because of Vito and NY Deez. I have to say this thing is THE best! No Finger prints or smudges.
The grind is super smooth! hard to tell you put herb in there till you open most grinders get hard to turn with herb...nice balanced weight...and nice fluffy grind with 3 half turns.
Perfect to smoke, roll, and most important VAPORIZE!

Oh, Vato is THE gangster. I love the sexy photos, nice and big here so we can see everything ;)

Now I am even more excited to get mine! I cant wait. I know that wide gripping service will really be helpful for the arthritis symptoms that really kick in when using grinders, for me. It will take the burden out of the whole process.

This is exactly one reason why I am replacing my medium SC Ti. That and the "shredding" concept/tooth design appears to provide superior results as well, so I'm anxious to take this baby for a spin :)

My friend picked up a new small Cosmic grinder. Fantastic build quality and produced a similarly fantastic grind, especially for a 4 piece.

My grinder does the job, but what kind of enthusiast would I be if I wasn't always on the lookout for perfect pieces?

Those Santa Cruz Shredders look sweet...the only thing stopping me from grabbing one, is the sting I still feel from what I spent on my Space Case :ko:

A few initial thoughts on my new Santa Cruz Shredder. Sometimes we become complacent. My SpaceCase Ti lived in the freezer, out of sight, out of mind, unquestioned. Then my FC friends got me to thinking. Thinking about things like grind consistency, grip, and fit and finish . . .

Today I received my Santa Cruz Shredder. I am blown away. First off, I ordered the 2 piece but received a 4. I contacted Matt who generously told me to go ahead and keep it since it was their mistake, so thank you Matt, I appreciate it  So, having resolved the fact that I wouldn't have to ship it back, I pressed onwards :)

First, the fit and finish on this thing is top quality, ultra clean. The threads, screen, tooth design, and grip are all outstanding just like the manufacturer claims. And the shred . . . fantastic! Light, fluffy, consistent. Flavors and aromas are very pronounced, vapor production awesome. So far my first impression is this grinder is everything Santa Cruz advertises, time will tell of course, but so far I am extremely impressed

I love the red/green reminds me of Christmas :D

I have to get a few things for Christmas from Amazon. May as well add a shredder to my shopping cart. Now I just need to figure out what color!

I was thinking the exact same thing...

Does amazon sell them though? I've been looking but haven't found them.
