First time poster, longtime lurker. Hi everyone. I made my pre-order on friday for the Cera Essential oil with eliquid cart, charger and battery. Just a quick question. For those who have ordered did you get a confirmation email? I havent gotten one yet so i wanted to ask here first before emailing the company. TIA.
Check your spam folder, I've had important stuff end up there on more than a few occasions.

I am still confused, have we seen any pictures of this "cartridge"? I can only see ceramic:

Maybe it's just the button/switch part that's made from titanium or steel?

But I have to admit I'm surprised... that's a lot of money for not a lot of titanium...

A little more info, I found a pic of the cartridge:

But check out the price difference here:

Stainless Kit - $250
Stainless Cartridge - $100
Stainless Switch - $25

Titanium Kit - $500
Titanium Cartridge - $200
Titanium Switch - $50

Is the titanium kit really going to be worth TWO normal cera's?

Hey buchee I have also not received a confirmation email yet and have just checked my spam folder, I am not stressing too much as they replied straight away to my email asking to add a spare battery to my order.

I'm sure they are just really busy building our units and will get round to it when they can. To be honest I would rather they keep working on the important stuff rather than wasting precious manufacturing time on emails :-)

Hey Buchee,

I was in the same boat. After finding an empty spam folder I e-mailed tv and received this e-mail reply.

"We did receive your order. I have confirmed it. You should receive an email when it is ready to ship out. We are still getting used to the new system, but we're double checking to make sure everyone gets order confirmation and will be getting shipping email confirmations as well.

Your EVO HP is not built yet but should be going out today.

If you have any other questions please let us know.
Regards,
Z

Hope this helps. IME TV's customer service Has always been top notch! But shooting an e-mail can't hurt?

Good luck

Thank-you Noname, TheRobbo, and Quetzalcoatl for your replies. Much appreciated. I'll hold tight and wait for TV to email me when it's ready. This is a great community. I know this is my second post but Ive read every thread in the TVRevolution for the last couple months and was waiting for my headshop to order them in for me but he kept putting it off. So glad he did.

Well we finally got our commercial finished up! Its not the type of video you all really want with some in depth shots, but not that this one is done thats next on the list!

It got a little crazy, i might setup a time in advance as a Q&A session.

Cheers,
Tim

:tup::rockon::bowdown: for Tim's level of involvement in this thread. It would be great if all companies were like this.

Now did anyone else notice the whites don't match?

Salutations,

I've got a question on my mind all the sudden. Perhaps another member already got some similar concern:

Watch out, here it comes...

:worms:

What happens if a power cell explodes? Or is that totally and absolutely impossible in practical terms?...

:hmm:

For example, would there be a resonable chance that a few parts could be salvaged and happen to be in good working condition? Moreover, what difference would the titanium option make, etc?...

:peace:

Good question. First off, they don't actually explode (or we'd have bigger problems) but they can vent a lot of gas in a big hurry and if you don't have a way to deal with it the tube can become a bomb. That is pressure builds up rapidly until something gives and it all comes apart like a toy balloon meeting a pin.

I'm sure it's accounted for. If you look at the battery tube of T1 or the smaller Ultra supplies you'll see a hole in it to vent the gas out and then up between the outside of the tube and lower body and out the thumb hole. Persei vents out the holes in the bottom and so on. Sometimes buttons are designed to be easily pushed out from inside I'm told.

It's really extremely rare (and typically happens in charging anyway when the battery will be in the charger) but it's part of proper designs. A bit like a fuse.

Damn it,I think I just pooped a little!

OK, and when do you think you'll know for sure?

I'm going to say this again, with a continuously heated chamber I think the vapor production will be so much greater than the T1 that they wont even be comparable.

And once again I'll say that's not what it is. It's a convection vape, very much like T1, with improved materials and construction it seems.

Soon we will know for sure.

I understand that this is a convection vape... I also understand that my T1 worked best when the oven was already warmed up and not cool. The inside air reaches convection temperature much more quickly when there is a constant heat being applied, rather than heat----> cooldown ---->heat ---->cooldown. Whenever my T1's bowl was warm enough I would get pretty big rips. I understand that the first few hits might be whispy because of the initial heating, but I think once this thing gets going it will be a whole different experience than the T1. My initial thoughts are that I'm hopeful this thing will preform similarly to the Arizer solo in terms of vapor production.

The T1 and Cera work the same way (convection) but people will have an easier time with the Cera.

With the T1 you had to hold it on and decide when to stop, rest your thumb and then go back to get some more hits. With the cool down and battery life you always wonder if you have enough juice to get some more hits and you wondered how long you had to wait before you start inhaling.

With the Cera I'm guessing people will turn it on and leave it on for 3-5 minutes and then they don't have to wait for it to warm back up because it'll already be on. That way you can get a satisfying hit over and over again with ease and then click it off.

With the Cera you will be able to get easier vapor production. I would guess it will be around the same amount of vapor production as the T1 (once you got the hang of it) just the process will be easier with an always on and ready device during a session. Even if you turn it off you can turn it back on and it'll be easier to wait that 10-20 seconds for it to warm up since you are not holding anything on.

Now will the battery hold up over time if you keep the device on for 5 minutes? Will the bowl not combust after a minute or 2 of not inhaling with it on? Will you still be able to hold the device or will it be too hot after a couple minutes of it being on? Some more questions that need answers.

In the shipping policy at the site it says that only USPS Priority Mail will be used for preorders... Does that include Flat Rate International Priority Mail for us poor Europeans who find the costs harsh?
