While I'm here, I'll just say it looks like I am getting an Ultra at the last minute... thanks Thermovape!! Best wishes with the Cera!!

Cool lady. Not only am I sure you'll like it, but 'it'll look good on you'.......

Now, if we can get Pipes to invent a smaller pad.......

It's freaking awesome. One battery has lasted me a whole day's use of the AVA and juice. Well into the following morning, even. Although when it dies, it dies quite suddenly. You might notice one or two weak hits, and then it's game over.

And don't even get me started on the charger... :cuss:

Howdy, Ace, welcome to the fun. Not to worry about being late for the start of the party, we didn't realize you were coming or we'd have waited.

You believe that? Thought I'd try anyway...... Glad you caught up with us!

I'm a little worried about the levels you're talking about, a gram a day? That's serious use, Revolution may well be your best bet but it's seriously out in nail and swing country. Most hits I know about are less than 10 mg each, not 100 to 200. If that number is real, you may have some serious problems finding a portable vape.

As you may or may not know, Revolution/DART is being upgraded....like right this minute in fact. The original models are no longer available from the maker (there's a chance you can find one at a dealer) while the new model is being introduced. It sounds like it will work about the same but with much improved design and battery life. The thread is currently in the 'new threads' section, you can follow the fun there:
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermovape-cera.7504/

You'll note it's growing at two pages a day even though 'nobody' has tried it yet...... Keep those running shoes on and laced up, 'they went thatta way'. Join you over there?

Thanks OF :) Yes i know, im a heavy consumer but thats why nothing seems to work for me that great very long it seems..

So i should wait for a cera instead of getting a revolution eh.. I can get a revolution no problem 145$ tomorrow if i want so.. Is it gonna be worth the wait/saving money for ? It is off a wholesaler though.. so im geussing no warranty.. ?

Appreciate the info OF, i hopped over to that thread and the cera seems quite interesting, id love to own one. December isnt too far away either.

Hmm.. hold out and wait.. or go for a revolution in the mean time..

You're very welcome. I wish I had a simple, sure answer for you, but sadly I don't.

A gram a day is a LOT for these little guys. Consider Revolution loads .05 to .1 at a time, we're talking about 10 to 20 refills a day? That will get old quick. Not even considering the 100 or more hits it'll take you to vape that much out.

While the Herb versions of Cera are no potential improvement in volume as I see it, we're told the new version of Revolution will hold many times as much meaning at least less refills. It probably won't do much for the 100 hits part, I could see you spending an hour a day fooling with it (loading, waiting for it to heat, taking hit after hit and so on).

Perhaps a better alternative might be a full on Persei system running high output carts, maybe even the dual version running two in parallel? It takes some skill to control that much power, but guys like Bob L have sorted it out. That should reduce your reloads to once a day (assuming dual carts holding half a gram each) and the number of hits needed to deliver it to a couple dozen? It still will take several hits a session but the warm up time is much shorter. Delta 9 (the maker) has some new carts in the wings which can only improve it, some of which (like Hercules in the near future) will probably not help you with that much oil.

I'm afraid that's my best suggestion right now, either PM Bob Loblaw for advice or check out the Persei forum and ask the good folks there if they think you can come up with a hot rod rig up to a gram a day delivery?

Good luck, I hope you find it. All that glass and the torch and stuff don't travel that well I guess.....

Bummer. I'd probably contact TV and ask, I do know that liquids in the switch are normally a bad idea because it's very hard to wash them out.....a situation I bet you've given a little thought to?

If I were to do it, I'd probably twist a paperclip or something to hold the contact part way in (compress the spring a bit) so stuff could slip down the hole and past the movable contact inside.....

Good luck.

Yeah, I have this happen to me too. It's just the top exposed metal part where the bottom of the atty connects, right? That's because you're overfilling it. All I need is 2 drops TOPS. Any more and I see it run out the bottom and sides. The RES system is/was their tank system. This is a drip-tip, so you only need to drip a tiny bit.

Gentle Friends,

As folks try to overcome the effects of Thanksgiving I thought I'd bring up a fun insight nobody seems to have mentioned about our beloved Ultralites.....they are no more! TV has ended the production and will be replacing the product with Cera. This means all the available 'batteries' will be the same size, an inch in diameter and six long. And heavy.

TV is refocusing on making the best possible delivery system for serious medical needs. This means pure as possible, easy to use, very long lasting.....stealth is not on that list.

Those who didn't get on board with the little fellow and the cart to match are now reduced to the used forum and hoping.......

Aren't we clever? Don't you just know they wish they could be like us?

Wonder if any of the Apex line is still being marketed or did they drop that persona too? That might still be a source for these "Ultra" models in e cig forum classifieds too (ECF). I am very happy to have jumped on the ultra at the last minute... Hoping to have it some time next week?? I expect they are still sleeping off turkey coma as I should have been doing if my man didn't have to work black friday sale at guitarcenter. Glad he's got a job he likes ok though... no complaints there.

I am hanging onto my Dart LV, and have a bit of the T1 gear stocked up, so I definitely feel glad to be on board, this stuff will hopefully last a long time.

My understanding is all the lines are ending. No more precision screw machine aluminum body parts with Nickle plating. Everything in a Cera body now.

Another insight is they've moved the shop half a mile or so to 'better digs'. It's no longer a machine shop with a tiny office in the corner. It's now lots of office space with a large assembly area. No state of the art screw machines turning out 38 individual parts per unit. Now it's less than a dozen, mostly 'bought out'.

My take is their confidence on the new stuff is extremely high, they're basically abandoning the old products as being obsolete! As I said there the other day, that reminds me of G, once he'd developed the Omicron cart, publishing all his 'secret formulas' for doing hash oil in e-cigs as that system was obsolete. He (rightly it seems) intended to set a new standard......can we say the same of TV?

Yeah I was thinking yesterday how no one can get the Ultra anymore. I might have laughed maniacally as I used mine (but that might have been the oil making me giggle  ) Really glad everything lined up, I bought from what must have been their last batch on the site because not two days later they sold out, then disappeared altogether. I also saw the Ultralite at a $64.95 pricepoint, which seemed a bit better than the 20something more they wanted.

Yes, it looks as if I was at the last second on getting an Ultra myself, still don't have it just yet, but it's in the works. That was originally one of the reasons I wanted the ultralite, I had a feeling it was a limited run, but it was just a tiny bit too tiny for me to hang on to it.

Just got back from working out of town (no thanksgiving for those of us in the entertainment business), and I was SO glad I had my UltraLite with me. I was able to go through TSA multiple times with zero problems (I had the UltraLite in my carry on as well, not my checked baggage!). Didn't even have to explain all the tiny batteries I had with me (a bag of which are unfortunately needed with the UltraLite).

Not sure it will be as easy with an Oil Cera though (as it also wouldn't be as easy with my T1 base and DART).

I was ripped the whole time I was away. :D

Welcome home. I agree with you there, Brother, Cera is going to be harder to explain..... TV, however, is focusing on medical users for whom this is not a factor. But who knows what the future will bring. Perhaps they will introduce a 'travel size' or some sharp aftermarket guy will offer a stealth battery to use with the new core design?

And as to the 'ripped the whole time' isn't that in the Union Contract?

Hasn't been a problem this morning with the OG Kush honey. Little drops go in, lots of vapor comes out, I've only used .15 and I've been stoned to the point of no more pain since I got it yesterday. Either this is really efficient or my tolerance break actually worked... maybe both!

yeah, I am trying to downsize stuff myself, but knowing they are not going to be made any more, made me want to get a back up LV dart too. I should have enough TV first line gear to last for years (I hope) at the rate I use it.

..damnit. I'm getting one.

Good call, Bro. I already got on board for two more, one for a friend who can't get there in time, one to stash. $40 is a great price for such insurance IMO.

"Get 'em quick, before they're all gone....".

Understood. And as Tim reminded me when he talked me out of getting a spare, they will always be able to rebuild the one you've got. Either for free (under warranty) or for the nominal rebuild fee ($15).

I like Tim and all, and respect his advice highly, but he wasn't here to talk me out of it this time. One goes to a friend, the other I'm stashing. I'm welcome to better, of course, and hope Cera is all that, but for $40 I now sport both 'belt and suspenders'.
