Where to buy SG (Sovereignty Glass)?

Problem is not that I haven't found a distributor that would send to Europe. The real pain in the ass would be getting it through German Customs cause it's from America and not Europe. That would increase the already heavy price by 50-75 % (customs fee, sales tax etc.) [maybe ever more cause we're in a price range above 1.000 $]
Plus you can go get your SG from the same guys that may raid your house^^.
Getting a SG within Europe would eliminate all that sucky stuff.

Thanks for the answers though.

No worries bro' quite a glasshead myself and with a few pieces in my arsenal...though I'm in France which is obviously the same as your place!
You need to request ALT or another distributor (high prio, etc) to declare it as a gift to avoid taxes. And if you use a speedy carrier as UPS/fedex no one other then the UPS will deliver the package to your door (yes it is costy). But even with USPS and your national post... I have never had to go and get my piece at the customs! Only once the post-guy (he will not raid my house, hihi) requested me the value of the tax (indicated on the package previously by the custom authorities)...period!
Anyhow, hope that helps!

Piece of mind Seattle! Call first to see which location has what you want. I know they carry SG!

well, do u know where in portland they have some???

Mellow Mood had some, they had lots of name brands. There might be other places in Seattle with them, I just don't personally know. I drive down to Mellow Mood to pick up a Mobius and was pleased.

You could also check out NVS in Portland area. They ship as well.

I'd be interested in why you dislike POM. I'm not overly fond of them either way, but I did just purchase the Möbius 65t and matrix bub from them over the weekend. Love the pieces, indifferent to the store, but what other local options are there for möbius or even DG for that matter. ALT is simply a gamble.

It is a long long story. I used to work for another head shop in town. Chalk it up to a long standing rivalry. We sold local blown glass at a good price... they sold name brand for mark up. This was years ago before they had so many stores.

ALT is a gamble but I have never had any problems so far. Otherwise if I really want something name brand I will drive down to Portland.

Well noted. This community has provided me a wealth of information. Thank you all for helping me quit combusting. Just ordered a DG off ALT and the next buy is going to be SG based on the feedback this forum provides. Very helpful.

Can you guys elaborate on AquaLab Tech being a gamble? As a glass newbie, I look to your expertise navigating this fragile landscape.
I recently acquired G's UP Bubbler, can't beat his customer service. Had a great meeting with Lev from Leviathan and his FC Bubbler turned a switch in my head, will definitely be getting more glass from him.
Also waiting for my FC Bubbler from Sam @ GBD.
Thanks in advance!

ALT is great. . . it's more of a situation where i prefer to inspect my glass purchases prior to buying. Not really an ALT related thing, more of an online glass purchase thing. I just bought a DG off ALT and I really would have preffered to inspect it first since there are so many blowers working for Rooster Apparatus, neither here nor there, but I am taking a gamble. On the other side of that same coin, it can be difficult to find what you are looking for in stock at ALT. Take Mobius for example, they post and are sold within what appears to be 24-48 hrs. I've heard that some HS's will purchase off ALT, mark up and resell as well. Not sure if that's true, but either way some specific pieces are difficult to find and acquire through ALT. That's my two cents. . . SLIM is far more knowledgable.

I am pretty sure Mellow Mood Portland does not carry SG. I go there frequently. Piece of Mind Portland is the only place in town I have seen SG glass.

Oh??? I thought I saw some there.. I might have been mistaken. Well I would give them a call if you plan on driving down there and ask before you go. If they don't... sorry about my bad recommendation. I called them... They said they carry it, but they don't often have it in stock.

ALT is not really a "gamble" since they will take the piece back if you don't like it. Just inspect it over and call them immediately if you want to return it. Don't use it... You will be out your shipping cost, but they should take it back. I always just like to look at my piece in person if I have the opportunity.

I've been looking for a 60mm V6 down stemline but have given up after months of looking. I think these are made by one dude, so he probably can't quite keep up with demand. I'll keep my eye out, but am not going to wait. Another good option for super HQ glass is Olympic from San Diego. They are pricey, but in the same league in terms of quality I think...I have tried one and it's dope...stacks really well, solid craftsmanship and very comfortable mouth piece. The horizon helix dual perc is pretty damn awesome...but out of my price range! I like it better than a bunch of others I tried side by side including the Mobius 60t and SGW single waffle...but there is a price diff.

What about Zob?

Zob is good glass for sure...I don't think Zob is on the same level of quality as a SG, Mobius or Olympic though. It's more middle of the road, affordable glass with good designs. I'm not knocking them though...it's like comparing a small craft brewery to a commercial micro brewery (or a small high end restaurant to a good chain/franchise restaurant). It depends on what you are looking for.

I read somewhere that ZOB, Hitman, and HVY are made at the same factory...but I'm not totally positive.

I live in San Mateo and was just at the cave last week. They did not have any SG but they had a decent selection of Möbius pieces. They have a good relationship with Möbius and always have them in stock

Did they have a 65b by any chance? Sorry, don't mean to side track.

No they did not...I actually was in there looking for that model but apparently they are pretty rare to find. They guy told me that they have never seen one. They had the 65t, 60t, clear nano, stemless bub, ion bub, clear bub and a facet disc I think. Anyway great shop!

Sorry for the side track...now we are back on track.

To kick things off again...has anyone used a King stemline? ALT has them right now...but I'm thinking they are a bit large. I've been moving to smaller pieces these days...but they look nice. They are probably on the larger side for a vapor rig.
