Discontinued Vaporfection viVape

Why do you charge in full for a product that has no firm relase date yet and, after over a year's worth of delays, is at least three months away?
I also want to know this. We here at FC have seen some unusual history with pre ordered products
Pre ordering should have some benefits.. as you hold the funds of the potential vaporist~

I really can't find the logic in pre ordering this vape. The grandiose claims alone turn me off. There are soo many other great options out there NOW why wait for something with a history of broken promises and release dates. And to your point Vitolo...what are you getting for providing this company an interest free loan ? I'm all about the vibes and something just doesn't feel right.

$20 shipping for even a aquavape? Seems on the steep side to me.

Yup. The Cloud took a little longer than this to release, but you didn't have to pay up front and you got a $100 discount. I didn't even pay in full up front for my roof, and I could look into the roofer's eyes and shake his hand. I used to laugh at Gamestop when they wanted me to reserve upcoming game titles so I could guarantee myself a copy...like they're not going to have one in stock when I go down there the day of to get it (at least now they give you some accessories or in-game freebies). I wouldn't give anyone a payment in full, up front, with no promise of when I was going to recieve my goods/services...that's just asking for it.

I guess I got my answer to this question in the miVape thread.

To make sure nobody misses it, here's what sticks is referring to (from the miVape thread):

It didn't take long for our ever astute members to smell the rat here. We've been monitoring Allison Sullivan's posts behind the scenes since discovering that her posts originate from the same IP as Vaporfection. Since she's been so cooperative to give us all this rope, and now straight up lying when questioned, I think we have enough evidence to satisfy even the most skeptical.

Honesty, trust, and transparency are what this community was built on, and to see our members being taken advantage of so unscrupulously is truly sickening. Ask yourself if you want to support a company who would employ such dishonest practices. Can you trust a company with your health after they've shown such an utter lack of integrity?

In case it needs to be said, that company is no longer welcome here.

I'll second that.... Regardless of the recent shill scandal I have to say that Vaporfection has
produced an amazing device.
I absolutely love my vV2. I don't know of a better whip vaporizer out there...
I will see how it goes, I may reconsider the miVape if I feel better about the company if/when
this thing is ever released.
But based on their recent history I am not expecting to see a finished product anytime soon.

I have recently been using my vV2 on Bag mode with the whip to get an even better draw
and air flow. Anybody else do this?

Completely done, the vivape got delayed as well (not nearly as long though) and still came out with a vv2 in less than a year. So pretty sure if it ever gets released a mv2 wont be far away.

And not only thate but pre production testing in may, first "prototype" in august with some tweaks being announced and it was supposed to go into production in a couple weeks, and now months later ,and a couple days before the scandal they should have a second prototype done in a couple weeks?

Im sure more "tweaks" will come, more prototypes, and now no communication added with all the money that im sure is going into development and the preordered funds they are going to be losing and lack of sales of vv2s that will probably result from the scandal i think bankruptcy might be a serious concern. Get your refunds while you can. And if you really need it buy it if it ever comes out

Good to hear that people still like the viVape. I received my vV2 last week, but I'm not able to use it until next weekend. I'm stoked, and I'm hoping I'll come to love the vV. It would seem a bit cruel to blame this nice little device for the sins of its parents.

I have recently been using my vV2 on Bag mode with the whip to get an even better draw and air flow. Anybody else do this?

I'll be using the vV with a bubbler and was planning to experiment with this. Is it a good idea? Also, I plan to get rid of the hose one way or another, and would love more opinions on what the best method is. The goal is an all-glass air flow. I'm thinking an Arizer elbow adapter and an inch of silicone to hold it in place may be the best option. Any advice?

I would say sins of their adopted daughter...

I use both small and bigger AquaVape for water filtration with my vV2 but i would be also interested in a all glass route. Ideas welcomed!

Oh,and you will LOVE your vV2!

All glass airpath idea:

1) $20 -90 degree 18mm male to 18mm male adapter and add a screen for the herb,

2) $24 -45 degree 14 mm male to 18 mm female adapter (or 18mm male to 18mm female, but first option ends up being cheaper)
-position so male adapter is facing up or down depending on whether you want j hook adapter positioned vertically or horizontally
3) $30 - aqua lab tech j hook adapter

Itll probably be less comfortable to use but it was the best idea i could come up with. Everythings on ALT if someones interested. Post pics if you follow through

Congrats on the vV2 purchase. I am sure that you will love it.
I occasionally use my vV2 with my Roor glass, it works quite well, other than the awkward whip hose -> adapter -> Roor configuration. My hose keeps kinking unless I keep it in the correct position.
I use the bag mode when using my glass.
I have been on the lookout for a Mobius Ion Matrix, but I can never find them in stock anywhere.
I am also considering a Sheldon Black or a ZOB bubbler to use with the vV2.
I had a small aquavape, but they are *very* delicate. I just set it down on the counter top and
the inside stem just broke right off.

The vaporbrothers adapter should work alot better, it angles downward to connect to the hose

Hey Mud, just curious, is there ever a time when you use your Wispr at home, over your vV2?
I have both devices as well, including a newly purchased (and disappointing) PAX.

ALT seems to be the best online site for purchasing such things.
I have been monitoring their site for the Mobius that I am looking for...
Apparently they are having a 15% off sale starting tomorrow, for 2 weeks...

The vaporbrothers adapter should work alot better, it angles downward to connect to the hose

That would work much better, I will see if I can order one.

Only when the power goes out, like during the recent hurricane...for the most part the wispr stays in my car and i only really use it on the go. I have 2 because of the constant problems i experienced with the original wispr, so i would never be with out it, but since the recent upgrades they made i havent had any problems. I listed one for sale but it didnt sell , probably due to the negativity surrounding the problems before they were resolved, and i took it down so ill probably be relisting it soon since i dont really need 2 anymore.

I did however use the solo at home (before i sold it) over the vivape. But the main reason for that is because i moved back home with my parents, and sometimes it was just impractical and too sketchy to have the vivape going with the fan, and in case i got interrupted i didnt have to worry about the noise of the fan or waiting for it to cool down before i unplug it.

I think the VB 2.0 might be the one that i would decide to use at home over the vivape, but after the mivape fiasco, problems with initial wispr and reading about first generation cloud problems, pax, solo, extreme q, viviape etc.... Im never gonna be an early adopter again.

So I finally got to use my vV2, but was a bit disappointed. Very little visible vapor, certainly no dense clouds. Cranked it up to 215°C, the AVB was still almost half-green after a long session. Had to use the Solo to extract a few clouds from the AVB. On the other hand, I did get fairly medicated, so maybe it's just different from what I expected, or maybe I'm doing something wrong. I tried fast draws and slow draws. I only used the vV with my new Mobuis 65B, so perhaps it's different without a water pipe, I don't know. I only used about a 10cm hose. I'm also a bit puzzled by fact the vV switches between temperatures instantly, seems a bit unlikely maybe.

I also broke the whip after my first two during my second session, so that was a bit of a let down, but I guess that's my own fault. I wish it was a bit more robust, though.

Edit: Now that I'm a bit more clear-headed, let me add that I really wanted this vape to work -- and I still do. Perhaps it' s just less cloudy and more stealth; perhaps I need to do something differently. I really hope it's not a faulty unit.

This was my attempt at making an all-glass air path, but I ended up removing the Arizer elbow adapter, as it it made the air flow more restricted.

I don't know about your water filtration set-up but even with the Aquavape i can make HUGE clouds with my vV2. Even at very low temperature it is possible to obtain HUGE clouds with the vV2. The ABV is always light brown to dark brown.

You may have a faulty unit. Contact the excellent Vaporfection's CS and they will take care of you and your device sooner than later.

And be careful with glass components!

Thanks, ugobo. I'm contacting Vaporfection. From what your saying it does sound like I may have a faulty unit, since I should have seen more vapor.

Very nice setup. I have been trying to find a Mobius Matrix Ion for the longest time...

Two questions:
1. Do you use bag or whip mode with this setup?
2. Do you disconnect the vape between hits or do you just let it continue to blow
through your Mobius, and if so, is it always bubbling?

I have been using 400 degrees F recently but have never cranked it up to 419.
I have found that the biggest contributor to cloud thickness is the flower that I use.
The better the flower the thicker the clouds...

1. I didn't actually use that exact setup, due to the restricted air flow caused by the Arizer adapter. What I did use was about 10 cm of tubing and a 14/18mm reducer adapter. Apart from the fact that the vV didn't work properly, the setup worked well enough. (That is, until I dropped the herbal container onto the glass table and it broke.) I tried both bag and whip mode and ended up using the whip mode more, as I was trying, unsuccessfully, to extract some visible vapor.

2. I disconnected the vape between the hits. When I plugged it back in, the air flow was not strong enough to blow through the Mobius, regardless of bag/whip mode. (Note: I'm not sure whether it would be different if the unit was not defective.) I didn't leave it fully connected like this for more than a few seconds without inhaling.

This was the first time I used my new Mobius, and I found it very enjoyable, despite the disappointment with the defective vV. What I realized before use was that I had to disconnect the whip from the Mobius as well as the vV before clearing the bubbler, due to the Mobius "blowback." (Blob-back? I'm sure there's an English term for this.) Otherwise, it would be like blowing into the whip. Not sure if it's the same with the Ion.

The flowers: This was my first thought too, but there's nothing wrong with the flowers, and I get dense clouds with the Solo, so I'm guessing the vV is defective. I e-mailed Vaporfection, and I'm hoping they will help me with this.

Did you try stirring the flowers around after you didnt get very good hits? Not saying for sure itll fix it and i only skimmed over your posts, but ive experienced the same issue a couple times with and without a water adapter and i think it was cause i packed the flowers too tight or the screen was clogged cause when i took it out and mixed it around a little it always fixes the problem and i gethuge clouds

Edit:ive filled bags before and then go to hitfromit and realize theres no visible vapor in the bag, take the wand out and atirred the flowers around fixes the problem for me...
