Do you consider it to be on par with your other logs in efficiency?
Since logs (typically) use such small loads, I think the Vapo2 (which also requires a smallish load) is right up there in efficiency. It encourages you to really get the last of the goodies from each small load, so in that sense it is very efficient.

The Vapo has a very similar air path, size wise, to the PD and CRZ, but it has more variables, hit wise, due to the loading of the bowl (how you load, as well as how much, can make draw speed vary a bit), your heat setting, and how long you leave the bowl in (a lot of ambient heat down there). So the trade off for the all glass vapor path at such a low price is more of a learning curve and more uneven hits. I've overcooked quite a few Vapo bowls by accident, even burning one side of a load, while the other side of the chunk still has green to it. So to get the payoff for the low cost, all glass path, you have to refine your technique and pay attention to your session.

Max brings up a good point. Proper technique is a must with the Vapo. Not only in load preparation, but also in draw and timing. This is in stark contrast with a log where those variables have less impact on the quality of a session. It's important to wait for the glass to heat up enough before hitting, but not too long so as to roast your load. There is a "window of opportunity" there that doesn't exist per se with log vapes.

Still dollar for dollar one of the best vapes out there IMO.

If someone could only make a Vapolution in a wooden body, I'd buy it. I'm looking at you, Hippie Dickie.

and add computer temperature control, digital temperature display, two minutes to first hit, herb is inserted upright -- so it doesn't fall out, no careful packing of herb required, and battery powered -- hence portable, and THEN you have the Vapor Psi.

But to get it with all glass for $100 seems insane to me.

i could do it for $125 with an plug-in power supply, but why? this market is not price sensitive: 4,000 Clouds in 24 hours @$399.

I agree with Max and Stu, This vape is not idiot proof. I've forgotten to remove
the load twice over the last three months; burning the load and having to
soak the bowl in iso overnight to clean it.
I've never had a log vape, but it does seem to function like an all glass PD,
yes a cheap looking plastic device, but very effective.( you are not suppose to leave it on continuously for more than 8 hrs. PDs can stay on forever.)
In taste and effect, it has replaced my PA powered LB for now.
Once my buds really dry out the vapo is hard to load and the LB gets the nod.

i love the taste of mine. you can really taste the glass on glass difference! i always notice the cooked bud stinks in a way that none of my other vapes seems to make bud stink. its like SUPER pungent. not that i mind i just find it odd :)

Anyone have this and the HI? I'm curious as to how restrictive the Vapo is compared to that and other log vapes.

I finally got my volcano buddy to sit down and give the vapo a shot.
I did my best loading tecnique, temp around 1:30 which is high for me, but I
wanted clouds to impress him. His first pull with the AIWB gave him a huge
grin and he said it was like a milk shake.
He asked me where do I find these great vapes, and I booted up FC on my
phone. He was too vaked to read anything, so I turned the vapo's dial down to
10:00 and let him hit the same load again. :ko::ko:
He wants one.

After using for close to 2 months now I must say Im glad I purchased this. It was my first vape. You guys are a bad influence(in a good way haha). I have since bought a MFLB but I just dont do well with it for some reason. I also just received the Pax and have only used it once, but the Vapolution is my go to. I get about 4/5 good rips using it. I still at times use my bowl but thats about once a month and the taste sucks haha. Im really glad I found this forum. Very informative.

welcome to the forum, genegreen. I would think a portable like the Solo would be closer to the hit you are enjoying with the Vapo, although you lose your stealth with it compared to the two you already bought.

Thanks sickstones glad to be here. Glad I found this spot still have no clue how I guess from Google. Ill have to check up on the Solo. With using the Solo do you have to grind the weed? Reason I ask is b/c it seems one reason I enjoy the Vapo is I can just pull off little pieces from my bud put it in wait a min and go. With my other 2 I have to grind and I tend to use more when I grind. Wish the vapo was made into a little portable device like the pax. I just get good hits off my vapo that I dont get with the Pax or MFLB.

You can get away with using pieces/chunks in a lot of models, but most benefit from using ground herb. With the Vapo it's the lack of a screen that dictates using pieces. Unlike with the herbalAire, which also does better with chunks, you have to be careful with the Vapo to make sure the chunk of herb is getting fully vaped. Using more with ground herb is a tendency, like using more with a big hitter, that you just have to recognize and deal with. If you're not careful to fully vape your chunks, you can also waste herb that way.

I just wanted to follow up with my experiences so far with the Vapolution 2.0. Keeping in mind that I have no basis of comparison whatsover (yes, a total and comoplete vaping virgin...), I must say that I just love it. It is impossible for me to separate vaping in general (as opposed to combustion) from the specific virtues of the Vapolution, but so far SO GOOD!

The feeling is more subtle. Not weak, but subtle. Combustion used to knock me over the head. As I have read more here on our site, I have learned that much of what I was feeling was the ill effects of combustion, and not the THC. I so much prefer the purer feeling, not to mention the lack of nasty smoke smells and tastes.

I keep reading about the learning curve with the Vapolultion, as compared to other vapes. Maybe I am just having beginners luck. Or maybe I am not getting the most out of my loads and I don't even know it. But by simply folliwng the guidance of others here, I have had what I consider to be very good results.

Beginning with loading the stem, it seems like a no-brainer. Plug it up tight and you cannot draw. Too small of a load and you lose the friction fit that keeps it from falling out. Finding a middle gound seemed pretty easy. As for heat, I let it warm up for about 10 minutes, then with the temp gague at al little before 12:00,I put the loaded stem in for about a minute. Then draw, nice and steady. Viola!

I have yet to experience the vivid milky clouds others have talked about, and I have only used the AIWB. As long as I am using up all the goodness in the load, I don't care whether I can see clouds or not. I think i may have short-changed myself with the first couple of loads and not hit them enought. Last time, I took 4-5 long draws, turning the heat up slightly as I went. That one crept up on me pretty good!

So all in all, I have to say that I love this vape. And I just wanted to thank you all again for helping me discover vaping, as well as for guiding me to this particular vape. What a great community!

Welcome to vaping. The vapolutions seems like a solid vape and a good bargain. And it sounds like you've got a good technique. I tend to tinker a bit with load sizes, grind, draw intensity and so forth. You're right, the effects are more subtle and come on more gradually, but I don't think I would ever go back to combustion at this point.

I know this has probably been asked sorry for the repeat question if so, but I clean my AIWB about every 2/3 weeks with ISO but the tip is getting blacker and blacker. Any way to clean that to get it completely gone? Ive tried soaking longer than usual and its still there. Everything else cleans well but just the tip. Any ideas?

personally I like the light weight it seems like this thing always ends up in my hands I dont really use a whip much just the wonderbowl and the large bowl connected directly to a 14mm GonG with a little EQ tubing the vapolution is so light it stands up all by itself

sorry for the mess its parts cleaning day
You surely left that too long before cleaning ,how long exactly? looks like combustion black.
I have one of these now, in the post.......

How often you clean is personal preference, and letting it get kind of gunked up makes it easier to reclaim. As far as looking like combustion, as a long time Vapo owner, I can verify that you don't need combustion (never happened to me with this model) to have it look like that.

My glass also look like that without combustion, just overworked. :ko:

And the best cleaning and or reclaiming method is......?

How about a steam cleaner ?

Time to clean my AIWB. I have plenty of ISO, but am wondering how best to do it. Reclaiming is not a super high priority. If I had a long, thin container, I could soak it and get it all around. Any hints are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You could use a container if you have one that would fit the AIWB. I do it the hard way, plug the bottom hole and carb with one hand and pour the iso in with the other hand and let it sit in there long enough to clean it out. This method may be more time consuming and not as practical if your AIWB is really dirty and I also put my AIWB in a hot beverage with my Solo stems to get all that golden goodness out of the stems and into my belly. So once I do the iso soak they are a bit cleaner.
