Unfortunately the Tapatalk plugin is causing annoying and inconvenient issues with slow posts, multi posts, and general performance degradation across the forum for all users. The authors are aware of the issue and hopefully they can fix their product soon. Until then it is disabled.

I was using it this afternoon. I hope the glitch didn't cause me to make double posts. :o

That's a question to ask the Tapatalk developers. They've known about the issue for at least a month. I have to say that with the amount of grief it caused I'm in no hurry to run their code again. :\

Is this just going to be on the top of the forums forever?
You can disable notices by moving your cursor over the box and clicking the x. There was a notice that explained that, you must have closed it. :)

might have been an issue for over a month but up until a few days ago mine worked just fine on the iphone.

the problem wasn't so much with the performance of the app, but rather the code was fucking up the server for all. I had noticed the app double posting and acting differently, but the bigger problem was how slow the server was on my computer. disabling the app was the right call, imo (and I love using the app), since the site is working great on computers now. the responsibility is on the tapatalk developers to get their act together.

Are there good alternatives to tapatalk?

Absolutely understand the issue, just trying to find a workaround. I, too, am falling behind as have used tapatalk to read a ton of stuff on this forum.

I noticed today that my iphone pushed a tapatalk update that I installed. Might this be a sign that they have worked out some bugs?
:peace:

Sucks! I use TapaTalk 99% of the time I visit the forums, and I was wondering why it wouldn't work with FC. Hope you get the problems worked out so we can use TT again in the future!
