gonna be, i want the mini can style, but its not dewar and its more money, so i figured id rather have the tube for more stacking... just need to get to the bank, always get paid when im working, always working when the bank is closed. ugh so annoying. need to get me a moneypack so i can get some cash in me paypal account <-heh

gonna be using an eq bowl and an 18 -> 14 adapter on top of it, will look so ugly but funtional til i get a proper one

Mouahahah, I have done this mac gyverish combo with the reducer for the whose connection of my SSV or without for the herborizer/magik wand slides...but yes it is really ugly, ROFL, but it works perfectly!

Thx bro.! Why could you not use it on a desk? You know I dislike tubes vs bubblers and will always take a piece that fits in my hand and that is a desk friendly piece!

so its comfortable having it on a desk and hitting it from a chair? the mouth piece looks like its straight over the can to me from the pics. but could be a non issue if its under 12" to the top of the tube.

So you're good to go sir, I guarantee! My hitman mini turbine is my absolute limit and I can still fire it sitting in my sofa while on the table of my living room...and this piece is at least 5 cm less!

One thing I noticed last night was that on the bottom of the base there are 3 little circles that look like they are for little adhesive rubber pads or felt, like you can buy at wally-world etc . . . I use an anti-vibration pad but this accomplishes the same thing and is a nice touch

Also I have to say that medicating with this has been amazing. I can now get the dose I need without coughing. Crucible after crucible of amazing, sweet, vapor.

oh yeah, i went down to 7th level aka H.E.M.P. turns out the blower thats done all my glass is the owner!

gave em a rundown of a fritter (tottally stealing that word) and they just looked at me like deer in headlights.... then one guy mentioned they can do me like a doubble or tripple disc but the discs are kinda like the PHX honeycomb....

guess what i said?....nnnnnno!

then i asked if i bring a frit disc in can they put it in a tube? they were totally down for that but its so hard to convey an idea to somebody that dosent know what the end result even looks like, im really just gonna order me a DG, take it into the shop (for reference) with a disc and have him make me my own fritted bubbler



BTW ALT has one tube avail. I wana see another FC member pick it up!

Yes that is the standard price. The 18" chad is talking about is different. Only 18mm and just a dome. Its not the same setup but NVS sells them all, ALT just has the convertible like I got.

there really is a lot of pros n cons considering a few things.

size of the piece
price
either dome or side + adapter
joint size


so its all preference.

Found this picture on the AquaLabTech post, of the individual fritted discs taken out of the tube for Goldstein.
They look...a lot different than the "scientific frits" I was seeing on the lab glass supply stores.

Coarser...maybe thats just what "grade 00" frits look like?
