that's great many thanks I am going to get me one of these

You might want to wait for more feedback though. I haven't used the original T1 Vaporizer, but reading a lot of information about it sort of makes me want one...

can you guys confirm what combilnation I would need for flowers as a portable device4-5 hits with maximum battery life as I am confused by the variety and some of the terminology and I am a bit baked

Generally the Evolution (in standard 6v) is the longest battery life with the best performance, The LV can give you some more battery life however; when coupled with cycling the switch during inhalation the standard voltage will give you nearly the same battery life as the LV. Plus it has a quicker warm-up time to get you vaping even faster!

Dammit Jammie! I just traded away my full T1 setup and you had to go and review this
little monster. Time to head back over to Thermovape for a cash exchange.....Have you
tried this baby with the Evo yet???? I will try to contain myself from buying til I read yer
response. Thanks for the review!!!!!

BTW, is that a v1 Omi case you have there?????

Yeah, it looks similar to the Omi case, which is a standard E cig zip pouch. The one pictured here came with an Ego kit, it's smaller, more slender, and won't hold nearly as much. I had a couple of the larger sized ones before I got my Omi kit, too, from previous e cig purchases. They make great little cary cases, until the zipper pops.

Yeah, if you are looking to run the Evo, go for the biggest battery set up, the one that comes with the Evo kit works best IMO. At least for now, until something better is released.

I am very interested in this device if it handles flowers properly..Can anyone tell me more about this? I don't mind carrying 4 batteries..That will probably give me about 100 hits..

I think you should look into two devices then, Evolution and T1, both from this maker, both with their own extensive threads for you to enjoy and mine for useful information:
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermovape-evolution.5685/
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermovape.4770/

Either are impressive performers, and very well built. I wouldn't make any hit count conclusions until you've researched it a bit and have seen what others have found....it's a trade off deal and the user is a major factor in performance.

Good luck,

is this a stand alone unit that i can use? or do you have to buy one of the atomizers too in order to use it for flowers?

No, they're both stand alone (but need batteries and charger to be complete of course). Both have bowls that accept ground bud, both are true convection vapes giving excellent vapor quality and good user control of production once the unit is learned. Both have the ability to have the working parts soaked in solvents or (usually more effective) boiling them in water for easy and complete cleaning so it's easy to keep them tasting fresh over time.

Atomizers are for vaping liquids, typically 'juice' used in e-cigs. Good for Nicotine. Concentrate users generally have better choices.

ok. i guess i'm not understanding all the different parts are for then. this link http://thermovape.com/collections/all/products/alpha-ultralite indicates that Just add a Revolution LV or an AVA LR (Low Resistance) or SR (Standard Resistance) atomizer to complete your vaping experience.
My question...in order to use the aplha ultra lite i would also need to purchase one of these add-ons?

Hold on. Revolution is for Cannabis Concentrates. AVA is for Nicotine. If you're not going to do either of those then you don't want the upgrades.

And you can't use the Ultra Lite (10500 based) supply on Evolution or T1. The smallest practical one is the mid sized (14500 based) unit, Ultra is the name I think? Better still is the big guy, which will do two cells for 6 Volts (SR) which the smaller ones don't and can also use the LV battery, 17670, for much longer life.

But you can't use the little battery on vapes for buds.

The ultralite is sold as a battery unit only, to complete this unit you may also want to check out:
Revolution LV (Low Voltage) for oils and conentrates
Revolution DART LV (Low Voltage) for oils and conentrates
AVA Standard Resistance USA Made Atomizer for ecig nicotine juice
AVA Low Resistance USA Made Atomizer for ecig nicotine juice
or it can be used as an ecig with any standard 510 style 2.4ohm or 1.5om atomizer (such as a Joye 510 atomizer etc...)
Also runs the 1.5ohm and 2.4ohm Omicron cartridge with proper adapter.
Unfortunately, the ultralite does not have enough power to run the herb cartridges (Evolution or T1) but it does work really well for the other ones listed here.

Excellent summary. I'd like to add a reminder that the 10500 is a bitty little battery, it's going to run the DART or Revolution (or any other 1.5 Ohm load) for a short while only. I was able to get 25 or 30 hits typically, if I was careful but it seems with more than casual use I was changing batteries all the time.

Fun device, and very handy, but it comes at a price.

Just curious, the battery I am using that came with the kit says 10440. Do you have a stronger battery running yours OF?

No, my mistake it's 10440 size as well (has to be....), been too long since I looked at it I guess, it's gotten 6mm shorter somehow.....

Anyway, I'm using the same 350 mAh cells TV ships as you are???

I got the chance to use the Ultralite with the Dart while I was out of town this weekend. It was very stealthy, and easy to pocket. Since I was using the Dart, w/ some good oil concentrate, I did not even need to run it long enough to get it very hot, so putting it in my pocket between uses was no problem. Very discreet, and effective for being out and about.

ill bet you could easily run the Dart / T1 body w/out the delrin sleeve w/out much residual heat.

I'm sure you are right about that. It takes at least 5 hits back to back to get the ultralite to start getting hot, so I am sure the T1 body would stay cool much longer, unless your battery starts to heat up. The ultralite is just so little, and easy to palm.

I will primarely purchase this for stealth so i don't need a huge battery capacity. OF, you did say on page 1 that you might get (about) 25 or more hits out of this if you take it easy right?

So this thing can get me some good "on-the-go" puffs with ground bud? I like the price and the small size is even more interesting!

Careful here lad. The 25 number is real using DART or Revolution (or Omicron carts with an adapter for even more hits....) but these are concentrate vapes. They don't do bud, ground or otherwise. The TV vape for this job is probably the Evolution and it takes more power (and for a longer time) than this little guy can deliver. I got one lame hit when I tried it on a lark.

If you want to do bud in a small portable, I suggest MFLB. Probably closer to what you're looking for? Lots of happy campers out there with a LB in their pocket......

Thank you for your help, but i am already a happy owner of the MFLB. This is just a very attractive looking vape. I can't get concentrates in where i live, otherwise this would have been a good addition to my collection.
