Shocking that this ended up to be a regular old E-cig with a label slapped onto it, I would have never guessed /s

Actually they do all the time, that's just the point.

All you need to do to get what's 'been developed' for you is buy the right parts. The bridge thing you're trying to keep your concentrate off of is the wick that normally draws the 'juice' out of the cotton down to the heater to be evaporated. It's just one of several systems e-cig folks use. In this use (concentrates) higher temperatures than were ever intended must be reached, typically cotton burns some. Or worse, sometimes that cotton batting also contains plastics which cause concerns.

We've named a few examples of just this sort of 'product' in vogue at the moment. Each has 'it's 15 minutes of fame' before the start up money is spent and (typically) cartridges disappear. They do work, but similar schemes have failed in the market. Repeatedly. And there are serious contenders in the market in the last year (one RFMK tried to lead it's investors to believe was a partner.....).

Let's continue to hope this is not as it seems to us. But you know what they say, "when 3 men in a row tell you you're drunk, it's time to sit down".

These guys seem to develop a fan base around prefilled carts. Guys would impulse buy the pens, get 60 or 80 showy hits (the PG or VG base) that gave 'em a good buzz. Cheap carts kept them coming back, until the carts got hard to come by. The 'put the concentrate directly on the magic place' guys seem to suffer from reliability issues of the frail heaters (some are easy to replace, others not) and short battery life. Folks naturally seem to gravitate to Omicron if they're serious about it or abandon it as too much trouble. Omicron gets the ongoing cart business (you can reuse them a few times, usually, but 2 or 3 grams and they've pretty worn out. Fouled mostly, something that will effect your unit if nothing else does.

FYI you might enjoy the Atoms RAW thread. While it started out in a different direction, here's a more refined modification of standard e-cig stuff from a 'name' in the business. They're having a devil of a time being basically what Canna Whatzit is trying to be I think? And they have 'all their ducks in a row' when it comes to marketing and distribution.....

Ok here we go. Yes 3 men. Count them. Each say one thing you ferently denied. Ecig. Quite a character here. Introduces a product he has stock in. Claims it to be something it isn't. Gets called out. Then shows up the next day saying he loves the product still,,,but no longer has stock in the company???? Something about dishonesty that bothers me....

"Whether it's just another eCig in disguise, I don't know, but it works and it gets me medicated. If you're in LA I'd recommend giving it a try!"

The discussion of this Cannacig started with post #4, and now we're at post #83. I think everything that's worth saying has been said (probably a couple of pages ago), and it's time to move on. There's not enough member interest in this product, in its current design, for further discussion, and back and forth bickering serves no purpose.

bobba loo, the concept of you selling your stock in RFMK just to post here is pretty strange, although at a stock price of $0.0044 it doesn't cost much to be an investor.

To be fair, the cotton looks to be in the mouthpiece, and is likely there so oil splatters get soaked up and don't end up in your mouth? And it looks like there is no real feeding system (unlike the omicron cart's dual heating chamber design) - it seems concentrate just cakes on the side walls and drips down into the atomizer as heat is applied and radiates outward up the walls.

Of course, I'm giving these guys the benefit of the doubt and can't say for sure, but it does appear that this cannacig does *not* depend on eliquid/ejuice. Either way, nothing to see here... *yawn*

So if it doesn't use e-juice does that change it from a re-branded e-cig to a converted e-cig or e-pipe like the Atmos then? I'm a little confused but this is normal for me :)

t-dub,
Hey Everybody, I am new here and trying to learn more about vaporizing options.
So yesterday was my first time "smoking" with the Green Stick. Well, I wasn't smoking. I was vaporizing. Now, I have tried vaporizing before, I have a the portable Magic Flight box and a traditional plug-in vaporizer. Both work well but are not super convenient for on the go medicating. This is one of the reasons I have not been able to covert to vapor over smoke. A rolled joint was easier to medicate with than any kind of piece.

So back to the Green Stick, so I take a couple of puffs. The tip lights up, I inhale then exhale a small puff of vapor that leaves a light sweet taste. I got to hand it to the little stick, after about 5-10 puffs I felt a head change. After 10 or so more puffs, I had a nice little high. It was mellow but effective. So much so I didn't smoke at all yesterday. I did not pick up my lighter once well until the evening but that was only to light a candle. This is a very rare thing for me.

Before today, for the last year I have woken up and loaded a piece every morning. Between migraines, stomach ulcer and nerve damage in my neck from a car accident, I been hard pressed to wake up and function. My body does not react well to prescription medications so I have been a prop 215 patient for 2 years.

So even though it's legal to use marijuana for medication in the 16 lucky states, it is not legal to smoke it in public and definitely still has "drug" stigma. Don't even get me started on that, before any politician calls my medication a drug, I would like to see the laundry list of the pills they are popping and all the side effects along with them.

Well, where the heck does that leave anyone who needs to medicate through out the day? In the past, I have sat in the car or sometimes even a curb away from everyone. Away from everyone...including my husband and son. How is that fair? I have to miss out on time with my family to manage my pain. So I really like the greensticks for when I leave the house. They are seem to really help me. They are pricey. I got the Survivor kit and a 2 pack of CBD. The kit comes with a 5 pack too. So seven total cartridges and the vaporizer with charger for $235 at getgreensticks.com. It is kind of expensive but so far it has been very worth it. Only regret is I should have gotten the lifestyle kit with the car charger.

Also, it would be cool to figure out how to fill it myself but its an extract and I have no idea how to do it. Any advice?

So far, so good. I am trying the CBD version today. I will let you know what I think of it.

VapingMama,

I know I saw that collective. I am outside their delivery area otherwise I would have gone with that option to avoid tax and shipping :/ I am happy with how getgreensticks.com verified my dr.s rec and shipped it to me the next day. Great option for those of us not in SD.

Do you have any experience greensticks? The manual says the light starts blinking and then shuts off for 15 secs after you take a long drag...like 8 secs. I find the long slow drags are very effective but will it do damage if I am essentially over-heating the thing? It comes with a 1 yr. warranty so I guess I shouldn't worry too much. Just want to get the most out of my medicine. Any advice? :)

I have a greenstick and I think it is awesome. It is super easy to dose, which has always been an issue for me. I can do it wherever, and I mean that literally.

No its not the coolest, best tasting and best high combo you can get from smoking or even desktop vapes, but if you have to pack something around, this cannot be beat.

I had dinner with my gf at a "fancy" italian place last night and was hitting it right at the table. The novelty alone is worth it imo.

I can do it at home and no one notices. I think this thing def has a place. I would say the biggest draw back is getting cartridges, I am not able, (or willing for that matter) to refill myself.

But its super clean, and discreet. I give it two thumbs up.

Wow so I tried the CBD for the last few days. It was a slow onset but once the medication took effect, it was amazing. The CBD gave me what I like to call the jello effect. I strive for this since that is the only time I can move my neck all around with out sharp pains. It would take me 3-4 snaps out of my little binger at night to get close to the kind of relief the CBD gave me.

The best thing for me is it kept my head completely clear. My body was completely relaxed and my head totally functional. Where as before, when I had a bad neck day I tried to stay in the house and not be out driving while all doped up.

With CBD medication, I want to be more social and active. I hate feeling so out of it, you can't find the words you need to carry on a conversation with somebody.

So today, I am ordering a 5 pack of CBD at GetGreenSticks.com. I have been using the same cartridge for two days and its not empty yet. I have not been counting how many puffs but I probably take 5-10 every hour to hour and a half once I have built up the base of about 20 or so.

I love being able to take it with me anywhere! I feel like I no longer have to let how I am feeling control my day. I take the green stick with me everywhere now. I used in the doctors office yesterday, again at Starbucks, again at a business meeting and then again at BJ's restaurant. I was never with out my medicine and my medicine did not interfere with my day at all! Now when i got home and got ready to go to sleep I still used my a snap of heavy Indica to go to sleep.

I don't care if it is an e-cig. If it gives me my medicine anywhere I need it and it is effective, i am a happy Mama! I see the Greenstick being my go to piece whenever i am out of the house. The beauty of it is, you can just tell people it is an e-cig if the ask. Where as before whether I using my MFLB or a joint, there is no saying it's not medical marijuana. It is also perfect for those NO SMOKE zones popping up all over CA. Hermossa Beach Pier is trying to make the pier a complete no smoke zone. I think the green stick take all the worry out of medicating in public. I know many of you may say "well there is no worry, F*ck cops and people that have a problem with it, its my medicine!" And I 100% agree but I also have a 3 year old, so the judgment are a little different when you have your kid with you. Anyway, there is my opinion of it so far. I am going to Texas in a week, taking this thing with me. I will keep you posted how it goes medicating in public there. I am relieved I won't be worried about getting my bag pulled for inspection. I always travel with medicine even though it scares me. I am not stoked to only have greenstick as my only medication while I am there for two weeks but I think it will be a great test. Worst case have my hubby overnight edibles if its not strong enough to give me a good nights sleep. We shall see.

Thanks very much for your opinion, I'm glad you're satisfied with your purchase.

However, what can you possibly present to back up the "cannot be beat" claim? How can you make such an authoritative statement? What is your experience with competitive vapes?

You need to understand there are hundreds of us around who have actually used very similar vapes to this and also units like Omicron, Revolution and DART and know there is indeed something of an entirely different class out there. Units purpose built for the job. Not modified to try to sell to a new market where the experienced customers are staying away in droves.

We're kind of a focused and inquisitive lot here. If someone with experience in other established vapes had tried these (or the other similar units this thread represents) and found any merit things would be entirely different as you might guess. We're not interested in flash, brand loyalty or any of that but will doggedly pursue performance and low cost.

And we tend to try to warn new folks off of wasting their money on what we see as a shallow attempts to claim something new and useful. We 'know' there's better for you out there for your money. Try the others too and prove us wrong? Show us something new that hasn't proven a sham and problematic in the past. Until you've done so, it really is pretty hard to trust your judgment you know?
