Did not want to double post but I cannot edit previous.

Does anyone leave it on continuos for around an eight hour duration? I find myself using it several times a day and turn it off and on. I see the instruction guide says it is safe for 8 hours.

Day two of testing and I am liking it more with every bowl. I find myself using the AIWB more than i thought I would, the flavor from that is unbeatable. I just managed to hook up the tubing to the buddy bowl and I really like using it instead of the straight bowl, much more convenient.

Packin another AWIB, vape on

I turn mine on daily when I get home from work, and shut it off when I go to bed. I've left it on over 12 hours before with no problems.

@Vaporizer22 - Have you tried it through a bong yet? If you're not convinced already, then a vapolution bongrip will certainly make you a fan. :brow:

Glad to hear you can leave it on that long, even more convenient.

Yea I have tried it in my bubbler and love it! I actually like it better once I hooked up the buddy bowl. The small bowl was producing good vapor but the larger diameter of the buddy and large bowl give way better hits, better air flow to really let the diffusers do some work bubbling out good vapor. As good as the bubbler hits are I keep going back to the AIWB for those really tasty hits. I like having both packed and ready to go for the best of both worlds. In order to preserve the taste once I am done taking a hit I will slide out the entire bowl if I do not finish it all at once. I have found I can get a few more good hits this way that have a much better taste before its start tasting like burnt popcorn.

Here's a pic I took of how I replaced the plastic retention clips (that always slid around and were generally annoying to use)

Very nice Stu, I'll have to try that when I don't use the buddy bowl. Puffin on some more Prophet, my medicine will easily will last twice as long with my Vapolution.

personally I like the light weight it seems like this thing always ends up in my hands I dont really use a whip much just the wonderbowl and the large bowl connected directly to a 14mm GonG with a little EQ tubing the vapolution is so light it stands up all by itself

stem013.jpg

sorry for the mess its parts cleaning day

I think that this is a great idea although it would be cooler to have a bowl with your choice of male joint as a single glass piece rather than having to use a piece of tubing. I'm going to try and find a local glass blower to join an adapter to a straight bowl when I receive my Vapolution in the next couple of days. With some angled adapters or a custom blown "U-joint" this could be awesome. I'll have to look into getting a 180° adapter made as well so that all one would have to do is raise the vapolution bowl /w GonG joint straight up into the female joint provided by the 180° adapter. It may be fewer degrees for others since I use a 45° joint to attach a carbon filter to my downstem at 90°.

With that kind of a setup you could have a true all glass path that's a little less harsh on the throat. The straight bowl with a male joint (18mm) could also be used to pair the Vapolution with a VXC hydratube. I'm sure that would be awesome. If the bowls were made to the perfect length with a joint attached, the flare on the joint could support something like a hydratube without help. Instant VXC-like vape but truly all glass and for $$$ less.

For those who think carbon filters are silly, a Buddy Bowl with a male joint paired with a 45° adapter on a downstem would also allow for convenient use. Instead of a vertical snap you would have a horizontal snap. The horizontal snap might actually work better since you wouldn't have to worry about the bowl separating from the unit.

Vape Ape,
Hello guys,

Fairly new to vaporizing (combustion smoker), got a crappy 30$ vape that doesnt work well and therefore I don't use it at all. I am on a wait list for the HI and have been looking for an economical vape that can get me decent clouds in the meantime for a decent price. I came across the Vapollution 2.0 thread here on FC and decided to check it out. After going through entire thread I was immediately sold based on the reviews/vids especially the 99$ price tag. I will be eagerly waiting for my Vapo.

Out to lunch
There's a bit of a learning curve with loading and temp/draw speed, but it's the best buy on the market for an all glass vapor path. With their FC special that includes the AIW bowl, I'd be buying one myself if I didn't already have version 1.

Figured that if you guys can get some nice vapor out of it, I could eventually figure it out as well. Used the FC special as well. The price is unbeatable for sure. :)

I'm a fan of the Vapolution for sure. It can definitely produce rich clouds of vapor and I personally find it pretty straight forward to use once your dialled in to your prefered temp. At that price as well it's a steal.

If you need any pointers just ask away, but I'm sure you'll figure it out :)

J.R.R.Tokin',
Hey guys,

So I got my Vapo 2.0 a few days ago, pretty fast shipping. After trying 3 bowls I got the hang of using this device, thanks to you guys as well. I pack my bowl tight enough for the herb not to fall out when upside down but able to take out by blowing the other end. I first used the all in wonder bowl and it provides the best taste. My current setup however includes water filtration and a carbon filter. I need this for the smoothest hits possible. My bub get filled with a nice white milk and my avb comes out black at times but I have never combusted. I like how this thing can be a heavy hitter and make you cough but can also be gentle with lower temps.

All in all I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone that wants a great vaporizer for 100$. The one and only downfall about the Vapo 2.0 is that there isn't a GonG adapter available for purchase.

Yeah, a GonG adapter would be a great addition to a Vapo package. Luckily there are plenty of places to pick up a GG joint (I use EQ elbows) online. I like my AIW bowl, but I agree that the Vapo2 really shines with water filtration.

Vapolution 2.0 First Session

Well hello, I received my Vapolution 2.0 Basic kit and AIW bowl in a timely fashion yesterday! I was very eager to sit down and get started.. This was my first "desktop vap" as I am coming from only previously vaping with an old hot box, and my MFLBs.. I guess the old hot box is considered a "desktop" but I never really had much luck with it 5 yrs ago..
Anyways I plugged in my new vape and let it heat at 2 oclock for 20 mins (I wanted to make sure everything was well heated).. Filled up 3/4 bowl on my AIW, turned the temp down to 12 oclock, stuck it in and BAM! After that small bowl I was Vaked for 2 hours solid or more... It was fucking great, easy to use, great flavor, very efficient -- just wonderful actually.. 3 more sessions and 8 hrs later the unit was still on and kicking my Ass! I am very impressed. Great price, great Vape so far..

Still enjoying my Vapolution, just finished a nice AIW Bowl, man I love the flavor it gives. Two really small nugs and it gave about 8-10 really nice hits. Interesting you start at 12 Billy. I warm up at 3 for 5 minutes then dial down to 10 for those really tasty hits. I get really good vapor at that setting. Once the hits start to thin out I'll slowly dial it up to 12. I find I do not need to go past 12, it starts to really char at that setting.

What is everyone's favorite temp setting? Does anyone else seriously get hungry after a bowl or is it just me lol? I do not know if it is the temps I am using or what, but every time I vape a bowl I am really hungry after about 10-15 minutes. This has been the first time vaping that I have ever experienced this. Who knows.

The AIW can really give some tasty hits. My fave setting is around the 10.30/11 o'clock mark, with 12 being my maximum too.

As to the hunger thing - even when I used to smoke 'munchies' never really affected me. Once in a blue moon I'd demand a choc-bar, but that was very rare and non-existent so far with vaping.

I warm my unit up at 2:00, but I dial it down to about 11:30 and usually just leave it there. Rarely will I go over 12 as I find it unnecessary for me.

I am the same way when I combusted all the time and rarely get reallly hungry when vaping, except if it is a wake n vape. I think it might be the strain. The one specific strain does it to me more than some others.

I was looking at picking up a Solo or EQ but at this point it would be just to have another toy to play with because for my current needs the Vapolution covers them. Love busting out the bubbler at night to get really medicated. It really does a nice job of delivering quality tasty hits in a bong or through the AIWB.

Yes I did start at 12 o'clock for my first session with the AIWB.. I have since purchased some of that silicon tubing and put the large bowl that the unit came with in one end and the AIW in the other... just vaped a small large pea sized nug at 10 o'clock .. it was perfect.. great tasting milky vapors. I really love this unit.

Vaping some Kryptonite OG, the flavor in the AIWB is incredible. One pea sized nug has me medicated nicely. Love the Vapolution.

VAPORIZER22,
So happy I found this thread. I use my bf's Vapo 1.0 and have been very satisfied with it. The 2.0 looks promising! My cost is going to be ~$107 after coupon directly from their website. Thanks for all the info guys. Can't wait to pick one of these babies up. Hehe :p

You will love it, use mine every day. My 2.0 actually got me back into flowers, was mostly using wax these past few months, but the flavor and efficiency of the Vapolution forced me to switch up my dabbing routine.

O.K. guys I just pulled the trigger on this vape instead of the aromed. AN all glass
airway at half the price. I really liked that moist buds could be vaped without
having to wait for them to dry out. This really seems like an all glass log vape.
I used the FC4LIFE discount. :D
