I'm going to show you guys a couple pictures, try not to get too jealous....

Here is the first pic of the hash marks, i think. This was important to me, and i think I asked SM55 once a month, if they had added hash marks for me yet. Or i would complain about how my LSV had none, and hint to him it was needed. Great add on the production model.

Here is my box of tricks.... Does the tube on the bottom look a little unique?

Here is a closeup of what i believe is the first and only inline HT. Thanks to SM55 and Ray from Sunshine glass for getting this in my hand. It is weighted very well.

. . . try not to get too jealous....

Naw, not jealous. More like hate. :)

By the way, what are you doing with the cord? @sweetdreams carved out a foam section, looks like you're wrapping the cord up on top of the items? And which model Pelican is that (I like how you've fit in 3 tubes)?

Oh shit ya!!!!!!! So that's what all the fuss about future HT's is all about!!! It's gonna be soooo sick.

This deisgn concept means waffles, inlees, and more in the future.

Yes. I roll my cord up in the case. Its a tight fit, ill check size eventually, but I should have gone bigger.

Do you guys just cut the foam yourselves in the pelican cases? They looks professionally done

The foam is designed with little squares that pull out easily. You custom your foam yourself. I thought I had a pelican. I actually have the Nanuk 920. I really like the latches, they als make a quality product

low tolerance is underrated
^ the foam is made of small squares that you can pluck out to your liking. but there are also places where you can order custom cut foam (like if you want a perfect circle, irregular shapes, etc). you can get solid foam as well and cut it yourself with a hot knife. google for more info.

@Krazy. i think i hate you too! ;)
which ht is your fav and why? (if you had to choose one)

I've only had about an hour with this inline so far, but it is dope. Really great size and the gong joint is thick, spreading a perc out that far is like "cheating" in a HT. How about a mobius HT? Oh my.

I think I like the Vertigo the best so far. It has a smidge more volume then the the shower and only needs a smidge of water. It has been my favorite so far, but all three rock.

I use my big honkin HiSi triple U less then I expected, but it is good to get there quick, and get there with a punch in the face. But it take a shotload up lung power. My Waffle is much smaller and likely gets the most work. I also use my 10 arm wilson bubler a low. Anything you use is nice, bottom line. I think I may prefer the HT's the most, but they simply knock down easier, and thus the reason I'm on the waffle and small bubler more.

^ good shit. makes me feel a bit better ordering the vertigo despite the new logo branding.
the ssf custom is pretty sick. about what price range was the damage?
moby shower matrix ht? hah! one can dream...

I joined the pre-orders in 11/2011, so I expect a wait. Thanks to all the new owners for

can anyone provide links for suitable cases? how much do they usually cost?

IIRC this was discussed on the previous Cloud thread. SM said that a 1200 model would fit the 'Cloud, an HT, grinder, and meds'. Looks like IAmKrazy's case is about the size of a 1500. The prices range considerably by model and color. The manufacturer's website is pelican-case.com, where the spec's are detailed. On Amazon a black 1200 is ~$50 and a 1500 ~$110. Lots of other sites to buy from, too.

SoulShineFamilyGlass (Ray/SSFG) will be supplying us with inlines shortly :)

Once we get through the $350 pre-order and caught up, we will be introducing a new set of HTs down the road  Happy Friday everyone!

personally i was going to order a pelican 1500 case but in the end was presented with an Mi2600 storm case from a friend brand new for free (his work was giving them away), its a little big but honestly more room the better so i can fit future tubes in it. I cut the pieces out after a few quick measurements just so the pieces would fit snug and not roll around. the case though is badass and deserves to have the cloud in it. as said above the cases can run from about 90-150 but its completely worth it because the cloud deserves nothing but the best and you can feel safe that its in good hands.

@stonemonkey55 any chance the new HT's will be sold separately or are they only going to be sold as packages to preorders that havent been able to choose? I think all of us would love to be able to add a new HT to the collection soon :) one can never be satisfied when it comes to glass lol

I think SM just decided the case size for me, and maybe a lot of us. While a larger case = larger $, how many are going to be able to resist having additional HT's?

Come to think of it, maybe all the Pelicans are too small. Maybe I should be looking at Samsonite.

ROFL Oldie! You just read my mind.

I was thinking about the Pelican too but seeing these new tubes... I just need a padded damn room ;) I want to snag all the different types I think. Damn... Guess I'm going to hold off on that Pelican case for a bit. Wonder if Samsonite offers pluck/pull foam

Should i have kept that info under my hat? Cat's out of the bag now.

A "new set" I think everyone can like that. Options are sweet.

Review you say? Why not. Thanks again to SM55 and VXC crew for allowing me to beta test and be one of the first people in the world to use this machine.

http://www.fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhalelabs-presents-the-cloud.1660/page-84
Here is a link to my beta review. Where i compare directly to the VHW, LSV, MW, and Supreme.

Below is a closeup of the dial and hash marks. There was only so many flaws in the beta unit to be addressed before final release from an ease of use and functional standpoint. I think SM55 was getting annoyed with how many times i asked him about hash marks. I kept thinking they'd forget, or ex the idea for some reason. I HATE, how i can't dial into the exact same spot every time with the LSV (especially considering there is no on/off switch). VHW is only a little better here.

Taste: One would have thought all glass on glass vapes were created equal in the taste department. Not true. The Cloud lets you taste everything, and can be hit dry right from the HT for huge flavor burst in your mouth. Why is it better then say the LSV? Maybe it is the thicker vapor on lower temp setting. Maybe it is that the air passes directly over a unprotected hot ceramic heater in the LSV. I'm not certain, either way, the VXC is the best of the best.

Ease of Use: What learning curve? This is ready to go out of the box to give you the best vapor experience available IMO. And it isn't hard to get there. I'll go into the bowl more below. You can hit the VXC hard or soft, it'll keep up. You can dial into a temp., and unless your loading the bowl to a Krazy level, no stirring is needed, You'll get a clean cooked product at whatever color you want short of combustion. All the way through. You simply need to grind, and not overfill. Decide not to grind and cram it in there instead? no big deal, just stir/breakdown once or twice and you'll be fine. Myself or others rarely, "accidently" adjust the temp while passing around the unit. This used to happen with the LSV and VHW for me often, and the temp on those weren't as quick to adjust back in regard to precision on the dial (hash marks) AND the capabilities of the VXC vs the other two in terms of heat switch.

Thickness of vapor and heat retention: I've owned about all the big hitters. Let's not pretend like this is still debatable. Thicker vapor at a low temp then the competition. I will say, the unit does work best after a "full warm up" which is probably closer to 10mins. But will still produce thick and awesome vapor @ initial green light. I have been easily dialing back to 11:00 after a good 10min warm up and loving the thick vapor at a low temp.

Bowls:
Easy to clean and fairly cheap. No extra movable glass pieces to break. Oh, and they work very well. No spillage. Minimal to no stirring, can be use out of the box with concentrates. Best on the market IMO. No flipped screens while you do stir. For those who haven't used the LSV or VHW and flipped a screen and sucked herb into a nice tube or perc., it sucks ass. Oh, and they may have a even better upgrade down the road in terms of concentrate specific or all glass bowl. Or did i make that up?

Bottom line? There is no specific vape for everyone. But this is the one to make those long time smokers quit, and convert to vaping. This is the type to make the long vapor journeyman see the light and the holy grail. this was designed from the ground up to be the best vape on the market. VX didn't buy heating elements and design a vape around it to work as best they could. They designed a heating element around a vaporizer experience. In the USA too... Out.

nice!
are you planning on them being as long as krazy's custom or shorter, similar to the other ht's?

Without speaking for SM and the VXC crew, they will be exactly like mine i believe. I just have the first. Pictures don't do this justice, it just feels nice. It seems to be the sturdiest standing up of any of the HT's, which i would have never guessed before i held it.
