I think the MFLB is the most underpriced vaporizer on the market, especially if you take into account the warranty and customer service you're buying along with it.

Hmm, well I ordered a PA and some other stuff from Magic-Flight back on the 25th, and aside from the initial auto generated order confirmation email I haven't heard a peep since :( Not a great start...

give them a bit longer. ive noticed that the time for them to reply to emails has gotten slightly slower over the past few months, i mean as opposed to when they would reply back within 48hours lol. i think i heard they have taken on some responsibilities originally handled by Blissville so im sure they have become more busy from that and may take longer to reply.

Have a question. Please help......How come i cough every hit no matter if i hit slow or fast. What am i doing wrong? When i first got my MFLB I could take monster rips with NO coughing. Now i can't even take little rip without coughing. I am using the same technique now that i used when i first got it..Am i doing something wrong or are my lungs feeling e effects of those monster rips?

You might want to take a break from the LB for a while. When I first got mine I used it for a couple of months straight and for whatever reason the caughing that it caused sent me to the chiropractor. After a few weeks I was able to hit it on occasion with less irritation. I think it's just too much of a good thing. Unfortunately that good thing makes me cough more than other vapes (I have chronic bronchitis) so I have to rely on my other weapons for daily use.

That's what i was thinking but i just got that badboy(MFLB) friday and used it three maybe four times a day for three days and the coughing is an every hit thing now. Guess its gonna take some getting used to. Weird thing is I just hit my SSV and took good rip and no cough. Little chuckle but nothing. Love my LB so i will adapt...cough or no cough........lol.

I was rather sensitive to the launch box's vapor when I first got it and still am if I am not careful with my technique. I found it essential that most of the time I had to hit it in "puffs", or very small continuous, consecutive inhalations of about 3 - 6 seconds each, taking my mouth off in between to draw in a tiny bit of air on top of the vapor, making my hits both smoother and more effective (As per JDSupreme's videos.)

Before I started doing this, the heat of my launch box's vapor, being so close to my mouth and throat with no coolant system, caused a lot of coughing. I would recommend vaping with a cough drop in mouth, a mug of tea by your side, and trying to refine a personalized technique for harm reduction. Perhaps you might also consider the Water Pipe Adapter.

I try to use the puffing method, as well as not take TOO many puffs in one hit. With the smoother hitting method, I sometimes lost track of how much vapor I'd really taken in, but now that I know my box better, it's as easy as breathing... and my breathing is easier! :)

I am gonna try that thank you.

One more thing. How do i know when the budd in the trench is truely gone? Will it vaporize til its all gone? I mean that trench just keeps going and going. Budd in trench was dark as shizzle but was still hitting. How do i know when to get rid of the stuff in the trench?

The real indicator is the taste. After a while, when the trench goodies are depleted and dark brown the taste is pretty scorched and undesirable. Plus you have more risk of combusting and making a stink that will linger in your MFLB. With the MFLB you can keep getting vapours at this point, but do you really want to?

I use my mflb with a short draw stem that i have drilled a small hole into the side so that i draw in cool air along with the vapor , i find that it helps with cooling the vapor so you dont cough and having a glass of water helps too. I tryed a drinking straw with a small hole (about 1mm) drilled in the side to see if it would help before i drilled the draw stem that came with the launch box. i dump the trench when it looks brown as when its that dry it could combust easily.

Call me crazy but surely you can't get all that power out of a AA. The way I see it the battery tells you what the device consumes by its rating ie 1.2v @ 2800 mah meaning you can do volts multiplied by amps to give you the rated hourly wattage of 3.36 watts or 3.36w/h. Now with the power adapter I cant see them exceeding the same spec much as the herb would get toasted meaning that the rest of the 12w they quote is losses in the transformation process of the adapter itself and would agree with the 12v @ 1250mah written on the power adapter power brick totaling to 15w and having 3w slack as to not be working flat out.

So 12 watts used lets assume they add a slight boost and it supplies 4 watts to the box so it draws 12 watts @ 240v to make 4 watts @ 1.2v thats a 3 to 1 ratio or 33.3% efficient.

My MFLB came in yesterday evening and I am just blown away by how well it works, I can't wait for my PA, it will be here either today or tomorrow.

I also went down to the local Illuzion Glass, noticed they had a MFLB in stock for 125, they also had an SSV and there own kind of vaporizer that the employee was very happy to mention, she said it was their own brand and used a gun, I say imagine a giant glass VG, I didn't ask her about price because I felt like I didn't even want to know. But has anyone heard of or seen of something like that, I'm sure its common, I just never observed glass vapes.

Will soon be posting pics and possibly vids. Maybe a review.

MFLB's are on overstock.com for 78 and I believe free shipping. Dont know how that's possible since that's the wholesale cost on these but whatever git some!

Don't fall for it.
I know DOZENS of MFLB owners that bought from ebay, amazon and yes... overstock.com
All are receiving old style boxes, without latches.
Many are getting boxes so old they have no Orings.
Most are getting them with older batteries that are no longer used, and often the batteries are not functional at all... in these cases the buyers had to immediately buy new batteries
(and after learning their lessons.. they purchased the Batteries from BlissSville)

These are only the box with no batteries, case, stem, or bag. They are selling the full kit for 97.
Like Vito stated, buy from a known FC vendor and you'll be sure to get the latest box.

Still nothing unfortunately, so I've just shot them an email. Probably just busy, but still.

Hansel,
My Experience with MF so far has been far more than i ever expected from a company with no phone number and the usual "will this email get answered" thought. i bought my box a few weeks ago after doing extreme amounts of research. I had one little issue with the box i got a call promptly from one of the girls over at MF. Id have to say if this was a car company they would put everyone out of business. they helped without question and without getting into details, fixed the issue i had ten fold. I didnt think this box would be what it was cracked up to be but i have not touched glass nor paper in weeks and i dont miss it either.

As well Hansel i too ordered the PA and a few extra parts on the 25th when i spoke with the girl over the phone it was just about the next day or so since i did the order she said they were shipping it out priority which is what they use normally 2-3 maybe just give them a few days handling time. when ever you order from the manufacture it can take a little longer. But i am pumped for that PA along with making a custom Pelican carrying case for it :) Im hoping MAGIC FLIGHT starts making some other stuff for it like different style mouth pieces would be nice flared out colored glass and such.....

I do think other companies in a lot of industries could learn from MF's customer service. They are top notch in my book!!

just figured id drop my 2 cents on some battery issues:
i am having a hard time telling the difference in usage ability between the powerex 2700's i got and some duracell 2450 mAH's i got a stop and shop for 8 bucks (4pak). i guess only time will tell which one lasts the longest but i used some powerex's (a set of 4) for about 6 months daily and they eventually stopped working as they had, i trickle charged them and everything but they just seems to lack the output they used to have. i chalked it up to intense usage and put them aside and got more.
i also saw the duracells at the store and figured id give them a try. i feel initially they both get as hot as quick despite this differing mAH. also i really dont rock a trench till its coffee brown so session longevity isnt really an issue for me.
it just seems that when you use the box 4-10 times a day with a set of 4 batteries, 6 months is about what youll get from them before you need to get new ones.

input?

i would recommend the power adapter for you. it's a great investment for the MFLB. itll save you money on batteries and you don't have to worry about charging batteries before use.

I've got to admit that I only use the PA now with my LB. I don't feel the need to be portable when vaping these days, so I've been taking advantage of the steady power the PA gives. It makes it so much easier to use and is the only way to go with the WPA, IMO. Really a great addition to the LB.
