That's just a Portside Mini clone. I need voltage adjustable down to 7 volts. I think the variable power is just moving the bowl up and down.

I had one when I used vapcaps, but I'm not sure I would say they out right suck. With the Ddave mod, I think I was out $67 delivered, which is hard to beat.

In trying to talk about the positives of the SJK....besides price....yea, not the best for vapcaps. They will get the job done, but I still preferred a torch to the SJK.

I challenge anyone to rip a cap to dark ABV in one draw.

I used to do one hitters with the original glass Vapcap and a single jet torch all the time, I've never used a metal dynavap though.

I had a Pipes IH for a couple of years before it shit the bed...OG' VC's worked great in the IH, but the pressure switch stressed the tip, and I lost two before I stopped. My remaining OG's are given preferential treatment these days.

Oh yea, that could be an issue if the clicker slapped the rim of the glass or some transferred energy from the clicker. That clicker is strong enough to make my 5" long stems jump from the table.

I am suggesting a one-two punch to your VapCap experience. Many roll their eyes at it but others are quietly curious. But I've worn my soapbox out.

One, if you have a way to make the CCD, the screen in the '18-M, convex, it becomes a much better breather. This is from a doubter, buddy, so this is real. Its also my avatar.

As to the IH, yes! Yes, an IH is the bomb for the VapCap. What's even more the bomb is an IH with variable input voltage. One where you could dial in the heat while drawing real-time. No conventional IH offered today has this capability. Furthermore, most are activated with a switch at the end of the heater-tube. I'm talking a manual mode finger-switch while drawing on the VC. You can feel the vapor pouring into your lungs. You won't go back!

Ok so just getting the titanium filter screen will make different together with a conventional IH (heater)

ok if I get a conventional IH I want to get a portable one but not to pricey plus have to be ship to Puerto Rico: A U.S. Territory

Let me clarify the CCD comment. When you install the CCD in your vapcap is tends to have a dent in it, right? This is a concave orientation of the CCD. I am not saying you want a Titanium CCD, I am saying take either Ti or SS CCD and make it convex - make the cone shape towards you. Makes removal real easy for cleaning and it breaths a whole lot better. I use a 5/16" brass tube to set the CCD so it doesn't flatten or reverse the cone.

Why does this work? The openings on the edge of the CCD are normally lying on top of a surface in the cap. Reversing the CCD lets more air flow easier. It is more than a small improvement. This is recommended if you find your grind restricts the vapcap too much. My grind is super fine.

Using less material will allow a fluffier pack and less restriction even with a fine grind. However, the M18 by default has indeed quite a restrictive draw, upgrading to current versions of the M or a titanium tip will definitely increase the airflow a lot.

My third IH is somewhere along the pacific ocean. 4 and 5 just sent shipping notice. Of course, those are just modules.

Having a spare? That is certainly highly recommended the moment you realize you cannot live without one anymore.

Using the M lately but cannot get dark ABV.
I grind medium and fill the M about halfway. I do 3 cycles and then try and give it a stir (a big mess but whatever) and then do 2 more cycles.
ABV gives a decent buzz when loaded in my Air and there is still some green.
Shouldnt it be history after 5 cycles? Flavor and visible vapor is minimal on 5th.
