Wait! You guys are using the elev8tr without a torch??? Please explain? Like the dynavap I always stayed away from it because I dont like using a flame, I'm too clumsy. The induction heater solved that problem for me and I love it. This looks like the cleanest vape ever, if it can be used without flame I will be all over it.

This is the enail I use with a 16mm coil. It does take some work to make the coil fit appropriately, but it's been working great here. That website has a discount code for 20% off, which shipped to my place was like $70 something bucks.

@LabPong is the OG elev8r coil guru who got me into it, and @BestBuds I believe has the same enail/coil as I do, so he can provide additional user experience.

Has anyone had quartz adaptors made for their Elev8r? I’ve cracked about 15 adaptors even though I try to be very gentle with putting the disc and not pushing it in too hard. Solutions anyone? Tired of buying the adaptor

he wants much durable glass 14mm adapter for his elev8r, his metal pick cracks the adapter while trying to mess with the ceramic disk

I have never seen any ceramic parts used with an Elev8r......not sure what your talking about. Is this a water rig....or jhook or stock wand?

When he tries to move the Flavor Dab Disk, he cracks the 14mm adapter 'stem'. his pick cracks the adapter. i think. is there a wooden pick? or plastic? that would solve the problem too i guess?

yeah, he's trying to put it in the place, and cracks the adapter.. hmmm.. i think @Ferrusbuelker stop using the disk. mix the dab with abv and drop it into the chamber. 15 adapters? too much

LabPong I think he's got few each time and all cracked, but still functional i guess

I thought to get the concentrate pad out, you just hit the adaptor into your hand once it's cooled down? Am I not understanding something?

The information for Elev8r should include the fact that you’re gonna need a huge torch to run it.
I’m totally okay with that but I’d like to know beforehand, maybe they worry it would put some people off.
I get that they say heating time will vary depending on the size of the torch you use, but I can’t get anything even after 4 minutes of constant heating using the largest ones I have.
I got antsy & tried the gas stove top but that doesn’t work either.
Now I have to go buy a Creme brûlée torch, this better be worth it you guys I fucking hate Creme brûlée.

Bro, something is wrong if you are heating up for 4 minutes. I would thing the heater would be glowing after 4 minutes of heating.

I bought a propane torch from the local hardware store. Tank and torch were like $20, the tank will last for a long time. Heat up time with that torch is 20-30 seconds.

I didn't have good luck with the creme brulee from Amazon. I went cheap, and it's not hot enough.

One would assume so but it’s just heat & glass Kev, I don’t understand what could be wrong. I’ll try to pick up something else this weekend.
Edit: Bought the biggest torch I could find, there’s nothing wrong it just needs a lot of heat.

Get the big shot blazer. It's the one they offer in a package on their website. 4 minutes you should be combusting.

I just want to put out there that any torches like this ->
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BRT4ZNV/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_c7TrEbS68ANHV

are really dangerous!!!. It was my first torch and after filling the butane the ignition button/butane regulator knob fell off half way inside the body with the flame on full. I tried for about a minute to turn it off but it was becoming unsafe to try to go get needle nose pliers as it got really hot. So I brought it outside and put it in my fire pit. It stayed on for over 5 minutes before it blew. That would have sucked if I lived in a city. :worms:

No way! Dude, that is the creme brulee torch I bought! Besides not being strong enough, it has been okay for other stuff around the house. I will be putting it out of service.

@GoldenBud @LabPong guys thanks for the help. I’m not cracking the adaptor from taking it in or out. It’s concentrate disk in there and i just use it daily multiple times and after repeated heating the glass adaptor from Elev8 cracks usually in a similar place. No one else has experienced this? Do most people take the concentrate pad out after one session? I just keep it in

don't use the pad anymore.. use organic cotton for concentrates

Hi friend! The flavor disk is meant to be used within the water adaptor, so telling them to not use it isn't really a solution in my opinion.

Edit, saw @Ferrusbuelker post.

I've not had that issue, but I don't use mine. I wouldn't think the disk would expand to the point of cracking the glass. I think ceramic has a pretty low coefficient of thermal expansion. Is it cracking during heating, or at random times throughout usage?

@nonamekevin it cracks usually after repeated use and either just after I’m finishing the session or usually during the convection heating. My thought was the same that maybe the ceramic discs were expanding because I use to push the disc down to make sure they really secure. Now I just barely tap them into place. Since it seems to be happening when I’m inhaling I thought maybe a quartz water adaptor would be the solution. I don’t have this problem with my Splinter Z or Supreme V6. I also have Elev8r hooked up to a 16mm coil but eventually same issue. The issue I think is the quartz heater expanding and contracting and ceramic expanding a little and contraction and I don’t think the glass can deal with it all. So do you think a water adaptor made out quartz would solve that. I dunno but thought I’d put it out there to greater wisdom of the community.
