I'm interested in hearing from those of you who have been vaping herb two years or longer ( daily, every other day )

Vaping since 2012, daily save for one TBreak in 2015.

Your question seemed to seek negatives, so the only one I can think of is after a night of OverVaping (way more than I'd normally vape in an evening), the next morning I need to clear my throat with a cough. But it's a single cough, whereas when I used to combust a night of OverSmoking could result in coughing through the first part of the day.

Otherwise, everything else is a positive.... taste, smell, $ savings (VAS excluded!), ease of maintenance, breathing, etc...

Gotcha.

May I suggest that there would be value in also inquiring whether or not some sort of cooling/filtering tech was used along with the vape?

Nope. Only changes for the better.

I can breath so much better since I started vaping.
I can breathe better and I can exercise longer without losing my breath, and I cough A LOT less.

FWIW, I've been vaping 3 days per week (sometimes more) for the most part over the last five years. No significant issues to report here. And I got into much better shape over the last while, exercising and bicycling too (including long distances comfortably). I'm in the best shape in years. It's well known that moderation and lifestyle are the dominant inputs to heath, and it's good guidance too.

A friend has been doing it for 3 years longer at higher use too with the same feedback.

I have noticed that if I vape more frequently than I normally do, my lungs and chest muscles get tired and sore.
But this is quite possibly due to my medical condition, whereby my muscles fatigue super easily.

How about you @kalel, any negative effects for you?

No long term though i have had a few instances where i vaped ( dry herb ) and i got super anxious, heart and left side of arm felt like it was numb and i was having a heart attack but it went away after about 1 hour. Someone said I had too much THC. Who knows.

Different people react to cannabis differently. Sativa strains have been known to cause anxiety in some people :leaf:. And sativas are also used to treat anxiety in others:leaf:.

Yeah its so odd. Like I've had good experience with some strains and then I dont know if i inhaled too much or the THC was too high ( i think it was a combination of both ) but the first 1 hour was a lot of couch lock then suddenly i felt it all up in my heart area and arm. I thought i was going to die. I just kept telling myself this will pass but it didn't help. I wouldn't have minded had it been all over but it was tightness in my chest and tingling in my left arm that got me worried. I nearly went to emerg but held off. It had never happened before or after that one time so i notched it up to the weed ( i never mixed it with anything either as im a pretty clean living person, no alcohol or other substances ). I came across others on youtube who encountered the same thing. Many gave up the herb.

I now stay below 12% THC and make sure herb has a higher amount of CBD.

There really should be a way to come down quickly off this ( like eat something or such ) to stop it if you run into a bad situation like that. Do you know of anything like that?

you could have had a blood clot pass or something... if it happens again keep whole peppercorn on hand and chew on a few of them... also, lemon water or lemonade helps to slow down THC' action

Have not tried it myself as I don't have access, but some folk will vape a high CBD strain if the get too high on THC.

+1 for "it's all good".

Vaping DAILY several times per day for over 5 years now without taking a break. Before that I was a one hitter bong type and gave up cigarettes over 15 years ago.

I run every other day and do minor strength training 2 times per week but I've been doing some form of exercise since my early teens (even when I smoked Marlboro) and I'm 61 now so exercise isn't something I took up or do harder since taking up vaping.

Since giving up the combustion my lungs are cleaner than they've ever been.

The negatives for me are .... I get some minor irritation sometimes with e-cig cartridges so I prefer flower and the magic flight launch box (MFLB) didn't irritate my lungs when I first started vaping but it does now.

Two more negatives ... my tolerance and my VAS have been creeping up steadily since I first started vaping ;)

Vaping daily for two years, excepting a short T-break I just ended. My health has improved substantially since I started vaping. I've got severe asthma, or rather had severe asthma, for years. Now that I've been vaping, my lung function tests have improved. I no longer use a nebulizer or inhaler daily. I've been able to stop, or cut back on, my asthma medications. For years I suffered from frequent, debilitating migraines. Now I rarely get a headache, and when I do, two Tylenol and vaping a bowl sends it on it's way. Cannabis has helped dramatically with symptoms of PTSD, and I don't know that I would have survived without it, or wanted to.
I did have a T-break until a few minutes ago. I was trying to avoid the munchies, but at lunch today, my son told me he was concerned about my using an inhaler again, and he's concerned about my nightmares waking me up. He made the point that sleep is important post-surgically, and suggested I start vaping again.
I can't think of any negatives, other than the munchies. My life is much, much better with cannabis.

As every strain of weed is different. Can you tell us what kind of herb you are vaping? (i.e THC percentage, CBD percentage, sativa vs indica?) Im curious to know.

I vape sativa, indica and hybrid. It's organic sun grown, but as I have no need to test it, there are no numbers available. I trust healthy plants, good sun and good soil for good plants, so I don't think about numbers much. This isn't helpful to you, and I am sorry I can't be more helpful. My asthma was severe for years, and now it's controlled. I did recently go on a T-break, but my son suggested I start vaping again as I was needing my rescue inhaler again, and my Service Dog was alerting me to problems with my breathing. I'm better off vaping, but am only speaking for myself.

Perhaps you should factor in the number of times a per day the user uses, amount of pot per session, temperature used and what equipment is employed. The differences between my daily low dose session and party day blowouts is night and day on my lungs but I am a data point of one.

Short answer no, slightly longer answer I haven't seen a change but the loss of function over decades may be slow enough not to be that noticeable to me.

Panic and Anxiety attacks related to cannabis use might have a couple of reasons.
I had to go through the same experience a number of times but found my sweetspot now.

First and ppbly the biggest reason is the lack of cba/cbd in some strains that were harvested too early.
If you dont wait for your trichomes to turn amber the thc levels are at the maximum and the cbd is almost nonexistent. You can find this info in a lot of growers guides like Ed Rosenthals for example.
A friend of mine smoked really badly stretched(?) street weed with some poisonous stuff in there that gave him a panic attack first and made him vomit for half the night aftertwards.

Strains with high cbd seem to have an overall calming factor, at least for me so I got myself a nice little cbd pen with a reliable source for safe liquids and I use this every now and than while using my vapes.
Havent had a problem since including more cbd into my daily routine.

Btt, Ive been vaping on/off for the past 8 years and I can say that the phases were i vape only are the better ones for sure. Short term effect after stopping combustion is always increase in appetite, smelling and libido and long term effects being able to clear the lungs without having dark spots in my cough, doubled stamina when hiking and overall better mood :)
I think the only negative thing i get when vaping compared to not using at all is that I have less energy and will to do stuff, but its not too bad I still get all my shit done just takes longer :D
