Also to briefly add to what I said in my comparison.
Another difference I didnt touch on is that the Crafty+ no longer comes with grinder, brush, charger power adapter and some other things the Mighty and original Crafty had. This has been done to save on shipping costs. Though its a bit dissapointing.

Filling tool. At least Arizer doesn't skimp. Even includes potpourri! And their products are more reliable, and warranty way better to deal with IMO.

I knew there was plastic in the airpath but i didnt know about the wires ..
No different than the Arizer Solo's

When it's assembled the air doesn't come into contact with the wires, thats probably why you didn't know about them.
And also why it was such a facepalm to see more than one company still doing it on new vaporizers in 2017.

210C.

Sorry I read the article he doesnt mention an unsealed airpath. Also most reports are of 6 sessions and he's claiming 4? I'm a bit thrown by VC having such a negative review

How often do you use the Crafty/Mighty filling aid?
Never. Really.....I just use a NV loading tool scoop and never saw the value of the loading tool.

Same with the plastic grinder. I know many who really like the grind from it, but to me this type of plastic (which is NOT the PEEK of the vape's exterior case) is not really suitable as a grinder. Just me, but I wouldn't miss either of these items.

Not including the brush, however, is a travesty and a mistake that will piss people off unnecessarily.

I never used the filling aid and personally am getting more than 4 bowls. I also find the vapor quality to be hard to distinguish from the mighty. In my view it sometimes appeared better though some of that may be due to it being a fresh clean unit.

The Crafty+ has just arrived at @VapoShop EU and they offer us 10% off and free ship (so €268.20 w/code I think)

That new little disc in the center of the bowl must be one way how it works differently or quicker, and it looks like something other than aluminium.

Maybe a radiation disc or some kinda valve?
I used to get metallic taste from an OG Solo bowl (I thought) and i liked aluminium because it was neutral to me.
Maybe the material used here or the difference in heating is why some users are saying the vapor is different.
But if it tastes like my OG Solo I'll sell it again!

And we'll have to do a mass protest if they make the Mighty taste different or not better!

The Apple block deserves its own thread.

Cheers @MGG for the first hand info. Could you do a test with how many bowls you get from fresh to dead? I've never found the perfect portable for me and for some reason ive always thought the crafty would be it but obv never did as they were so shit

Thanks for the tip...but I checked, and it is gone from there as well.

Strange, I still see them and can download them (all the vape apps I’ve used). Are you logged in with the same account you initially downloaded them with?

Just finished up some of my Crafty+ initial thoughts and figured I would share them here. Overall very happy with the battery improvements, not very happy with the lack of accessories.

I did do an extended battery life test where I never let the unit fully cool down in between bowls (so not a terribly realistic real life test) but I was trying to stress the battery and see if it would over-heat like my old crafty. I ended up getting 8.5 bowls and 61 minutes of straight use.

I was only turning the unit off in-between bowls long enough for the temp to drop ~30 degrees so I could start the next bowl back at the original 356 temp

Here are the notes from the marathon session:

Here are the AVB piles from the 9 bowls (even the 9th in the front middle was basically finished, but I think there was still at least one more rip so I didnt consider it finished)

Can't wait to test the battery in the cold/snow and see how it holds up for Skiing!

Let me know if you guys have any questions and have a great day!

Great to hear your impressions so far @BuzzDanklin
The PAX3 (and maybe 2?) had no charger plug and that was branded and priced as a premium vape.
They seemed to get away with it more by never including it with their USB format, but it is surprising when things are dropped that were previously included.

If the new housing material works out it will be nice to see these things not crack with heat and age.
