Now I know who got that amazing mouthpiece congrats my man that's a really nice piece you have there

Hahaha yeah I am pretty sure that the maker is magic and reads mind because I hadn't even told him I was worried about the vapor being to hot for me but now I got to test both short stem and long stem IN THE SAME STEM!!!

Wondering if your going to meet up with him in person and if you could give him a hug from me?
Like seriously could you give him a big bear hug from me?

This is also made from a Swedish oak I found at my friend's newly bought farm that had a 200-300 year old wood workshop in it and that was one of the oak slaps from there but probably not that old

I am so glad it turned good and he could work on it because it's been a dream of mine to find local wood and make or get a vape made out it

Trying to figure out a name for it because it's my little baby!

We will meet up at some point so a hug will be delivered, I watched the making of that one that's why I recognized the mouthpiece, and now I know the story behind thx for that

Now I vape couple of bowls from it both dry and through water and its been a fantastic experience, first bowl in the two-part stem and I had to go lay down but also been on a forced break (dankrupt) but was really surprised how even the roasting was on the herb!

Today I will enjoy the portability of it

Just got a Purple Heart Glow18. The one without the pods. I have a VooPoo Drag mod laying around to use. Still trying to dial it in. Does anyone else use this mod and can give me some pointers? I’d like to try and setup the TCR mode on it to try out also. Thanks

For now put it around 40-45W and you can worry about temp control later. I'm pretty sure you are going to need to change the coils as well.

Ok. I’ll up the wattage. I’ve been using it around 35 with good results. Why should I change the coils? It’s hardly used yet.

If you like to use temperature control you need to change thet they are kanthal coils and tv needs stainless steel, if you have good results at 35 you can stay ther get your own routine how you like it.

And to piggyback off Wis the SS coils have a tendency to oxidize and break down. When that happens it seems to me you are vaping stainless steel. No thank you!

Got my new glow 18 directly from dreamwood, they even chucked in a free long cooling stem which is the business!

Had a good few sessions on it running at 40w, had best results with a short xl8r cooling stem I already had and with a tubo capsule stem which worked really well. The Jack pods are good but I guess they will need a bit more power than 40w to fully extract.

I love how the short wood stem looks, but it's just that bit too harsh to be enjoyable for me. Would love a spiked glass insert to line it like the tubo stems, that would take it to a whole 'nother level!

A short review of the Glow 14 RCV!

I'm a medical user with a low tolerance, so session vapes with big bowls don't suit my needs. I was looking for a versatile battery-powered vape and chose the Glow, because I had already great experiences with their butane vapes.

Pro's:

- The Glow comes with A lot of accessories. From O-rings to screens, mouthpieces and extra coils. I didn't buy something extra (ok, except for the cooling mouthpiece).

- So easy to use! Fill the atty/glass stem, choose the wattage, preheat for about two seconds and inhale.

- Suited for both heavy users and people with a lower tolerance. You can take a shorter draw for minimal effects, or take a few big rips and get blasted.

- Taste is very pure. With a short wooden mouthpiece the vapor gets a bit too harsh and warm for me, but with a lower wattage and a slow draw it gets the job done. The standard glass mouthpiece and, especially, the cooling mouthpiece are great for higher wattages and bigger rips.

- Easy to use with a water tool (14mm) with the wooden mouthpiece or the glass water pipe adapter.

- Almost no stirring. With the atty I stir the herbs multiple times just because I like to see how well extracted it looks, but one stir would be enough. With the glass mouthpieces I stir once.

- So easy to clean. I brush the atty and throw the glass mouthpieces once in a while in some ISO. I also brush around the coil to get rid of the small parts.

- Great customer service. The Dreamwood Bros answered my questions perfectly and even made a Instagram video to learn me how to change the coils.

Cons:

- I'm a bit clumsy, so it takes a bit of effort to change the coil. However, for people that have good motor skills it shouldn't be a problem.

- I already mentioned it, but with the short mouthpiece the vapor can be quite harsh and hot with the higher wattages.

To conclude this post: I love the versatility, taste and looks of the Glow. It's easy to use, easy to clean and it can suit the needs for heavy users as well as people with a low tolerance.

Vape swap shop
After seeing troys video on 510 vapes i decided to give the glow a go. I brought a dreamwood RCV 18 on ent.

I was quite critical of this vape when it first came out. I was thinking this was a copy-cat vape with nothing new to bring to the table. I was kinda right - nothing new here, but it does actually work really rather well and has some nice features.

I really like the wooden stem. Its really low profile and i like the oring system. You can keep the wooden stem loaded in the vape in your pocket. Its a really good fit and secure. I cant see myself ever using the glass stem, i would kinda prefer two wood stems to any glass.

The air vent is actually quite good. You cant really get to it once the body of the vape is attached to the 510 base. This stops you from accidentally adjusting the air vent. I have moved the vent on my stempod many times.

The woodwork is really top notch. The central position of the coils seems to work a whisker better than the side by side on the stempod. Flavour is good and slightly woody.

One thing i dont like is the body has come off the base in my bag once. My bag was rather full so hope this was a one off. This used to happen on my imp - and really bugged me.

Overall i really like this vape, i think i prefer it performance wise to the imp. Its about equal to the stempod maybe a whisker better on performance. Hower the stempod body will never come off in you pocket though and the Si is half the price. The Si also hold stems really well.

I think this might be a keeper.

Good to hear your glad!

I personally ended up with my other 4 vapes in the drawer or on loan and only use the glow because it hits hard and tasty!

I got a 18 and 14 but the later been on a loan with my grasshopper but thinking of asking for the 14 mm back and eyeing a tiny 510 mod that I plan on using with it for more portable stealthier experience

Enano is fantastic but glow is basically a portable log, if I didn't have a noise step-down convertor for 220v to 120v I would use it way more, but also a can fit two nano bowls into one glow for a bigger hit. I bring the Enano to parties because its a "zero practice" type of vape

Interesting!

Judging by your 220V comment, I take it you're also in Europe.

I've been looking at desktop vape options like the E-Nano, but most are from the US and it's a pain to bring them over (shipping costs, lack of CE certifications, voltage differences).

As a result, I've been considering EU-made options like the Dreamwood, Musa, and Tubo vapes.

How do the Dreamwood 510-based vapes compare to other options for Europeans? Are there any good ones I'm missing?

Thanks
