You need to unscrew it push metal all the way back in. Sit the washer on the next lip up like in @blokenoname has shown in the picture of a nano. Compair your and his again notice your screw is close to metal with nothing to grasp on to. His is up on the lip holding metal in place.

Been doing that for a while now, works great! I use two of them, one on each side of the dial to hold it flat and parallel to the table. My clips are larger to grasp my hutches table ledge and I only insert the cable thru one side of the clips arms. In fact I only leave the one clip arm on after its been mounted.

Oddly enough they are cut sections of bike inner tube.
Which actually makes them pretty easy to find since they are sold at stores like Walmart. I just went and looked and these are made from a 26x1.75/2.125 size tube. But just check out the tubes they have and see whats close to the size you need and or buy a couple sizes, they are handy to have around.
People call them "Ranger Bands" apparently the US Army Rangers use them to hold items to their gear. Also super handy for adding to things to give them a rubber grip too... In fact that just gave me an idea.. I wonder if I can get an inner-tube big enough to make bands to go around the bottom of glass...

Somewhere in this thread there was a member using bike innertube. But he cut like a 1 1/2 " piece it covered almost the whole dial then he cut a slit in the center so you can see where it set at.

The e-nano sucks! I'm really unimpressed with it... I can't even combust when I set it to 10. I recently got to try this out through a friend. I packed a bowl of mint leaf and then mullein leaf about 0.05-0.1g. The vape was set to 10 and hardly even browned the herb, probably because I couldn't even suck hard enough to get the air through it! It's nothing like the the SSV or LSV i have tried, they have such good air flow. The airflow in the nano is comparable to a vapcap with the throttle/carb closed, terrible!
Are all log vapes like this or is it just the e-nano? It's a shame because the design is so nice.

I loved my nano had really good airflow and produces great vapor at 7 to 7 1/2. The only thing is it needs to be preheated for at least 10 to 15 minutes. I’m sure it could be a little faster but I always turn it on and walk away for a while.
I hope you get it worked out because that’s definitely not what it’s capable of.

I run mine on 8 but have to move the load further away from the heat at that temperature.
The Nano has much better airflow than a Dynavap, it’s not as open as the SSV but gives me thicker vapor than one.
Have you still got it to keep testing or was this one off try with your friend’s Nano?

The unit was left on for over half an hour. The step down transformer 115v/220v rater at 50w. Yes I can still test it any time. It seems the device will slightly brown/toast if it is left for 5 minutes standing still, but if you keep puffing then it won't even go brown, it just stays green.

Airpath of the Nano is quite open. Sounds like you're overpacking the bowl, as otherwise you wouldn't get such miserable airflow. You usually just put a pinch into the bowl, give it a slight tap with your pinky and then connect to the heater port and draw quite naturally. There shouldn't be much restriction.

I'm using under 0.5... under what is seen in this video at 3:43. the airflow drops off way quick from say 0.2g to 0.3g. once you suck it just compresses everything, rendering the airflow to be really low. Remember this is mint leaf as well as mullein so the herbs are pretty loose.

Just suck your herb into the bowl, like you'd do using a straw. Then tap down ever so slightly. That way, you can't overpack and gurantee airflow.
If mint or mullein behave differently from the more common type of herb used in the Nano, I can't say. Never tried it.

It’s very hard to outdraw the Nano & once warmed up it doesn’t lose temperature between draws. It will combust any herb if it’s up too high.
Maybe have your friend contact Epic to check if his Nano is performing properly.

Ok, so i think figured out whats going on... either 115v isnt enough voltage or a 50w step down transformer isn't enough for some reason, i may need 100w or 120v. I went over to my friends to try plug it in to mains without the step down transformer after reading this thread. It worked and burnt my herb.
Trouble was I was running a 115v step down... perhaps it wasn't enough voltage, or perhaps it wasn't enough wattage (although 50w should be enough for a max 15w device). Will see how it goes tomorrow with the new transformer.
Oh, and I still am disappointed with the airflow though. with enough herb to have good airflow it holds less herb than a dynavap vapcap. I wonder if the mesh was less fine whether that could be improved??
Really makes me miss the SSV and other 7th floor vapes for their bowl size. I might just have to take micro hits from now on.

Do you have a glass screen or a metal (adjustable) screen? I don't like glass screens for the reason you are mentioning (clog quickly and reduce air flow).
I am a huge hitter. I never weighed what I put in the bowl but I push the screen way into the stem and load quit a bit. I use a large bong and I can usually clear it in one or 2 drags. Huge hits and thick clouds at about 6.5 on the dial.
I find under loading it gives wispy hits. I pack that sucker and get great hits. It's the only desktop vape I need.

Yeah, using the metal screen, I have it set as far as the poker tool that came with it allows just like that seen here.
The fact you load so much in and still manage to breathe through it amazes me. Does it get toasted at the end of it?
Put it this way, I like as much airflow as say if I had to breathe through the stem for minutes at a time. Perhaps it will take getting used to though
