The unit uses the same dimmer unit as the plastic one. You can pry the dial off on the old unit and put some friction electrical tape under the dial then, press the dial back on. The bigger base makes it much more difficult to accidentally move it.

Seriously, though....dimmer weight (compared to weight of the power cord dragging it around) and the lack of resistance to movement of the dial have been long standing issues that most (well, many?) of us have had to Macgyver it.
But yes, I will try to resist the urge to post it again! hahaha

Also does anyone else ever crank up to 10 to get heated up quickly, and then forget and ignite a load on the first hit, and have to wash out your gear to get rid of the terrible smoke taste?

Oh yeah, I've done that several times. Moreso when I was regularly disconnecting to hide it from plain view. I now leave it out and although I never thought I'd leave it on, I do so with confidence most times. I will uplug it if no one is going to be home for a while.

What happened? That doesnt seem safe to use like that
The transformer and resister got fried.I sent it in to an electrics shop. They were both replaced. the enano is working again good but Theres a problem. The inner stainless steel cylinder shell keeps falling out when I turn the enano upside down (to use it in the gong). I am not sure weather if a screw is missing or is the shell held in by some glue does anyone know?

Back with a feedback on the ice stems. They are excellent and definitely cooler than both the short and long stems. The draw restriction is a bit higher. Not a huge difference but noticeable. Some like that some don't. I love it! My new favourite way to use the E-Nano. Tasty cool on-demand vapor with a full glass airpath.

Just tighten the big screw you see there in the first pic, after you pushed the ss cylinder back in. It holds the whole arrangement.
ETA: as a mate just noticed and to be more precise: it's actually that flat washer around the screw, that holds the arrangement in place, it normally grabs the wooden ledge above. Seems to have slipped. So unscrew it a bit, push the ss cylinder back in and then tighten the screw seeing that the washer grabs the wooden ledge on one side.

but the wooden ledge is not close at all to the metal plate. Even if i unscrew the screw and then place the metal plate just over the wooden ledge Im not sure ill be able to put the screw back in as it might not belong enough. I will try it and report back though.

Well, when you unscrew the screw completely and then push the cylinder back in again, it should be closer to the ledge again, so that the washer can grab it. At least, that's the theory.
