handheld vaporizer with desktop power? I already own portables and I was looking into getting a nice desk top for home use but I began running into home hand held unit like the log style vapes and others like the storz & bickles plenty, I kind of like that its plugged to the wall to get all that power but you can still pick it up and pass around vs a full size desktop with a whip. are the logs and the plenty as powerful as a full fledged desktop?

My answer to you, is Yes! 
But
Consider the 'Plenty' very carefully, it functions rather differently than any other on the market.
It's not suited to the purpose of the vast majority of vapers out there in my opinion.
Especially if time and speed are an important factor?
Having said this though, to Me personally, and perhaps quite a few others, it's the Best Vape on the market!

It's kinda old school now but a volcano packs power, holds a lot of herb, tastes great, and the balloons pass around cord free.
So still on the fence on what to get. I already have ghost mv1, Dynavap m 2019, and a firefly 2, so to round out my set up I want a hand held wall powered device. Looks like the plenty and any log vape keeps popping up. I like the power the plenty offers but I like the efficiency of the log vapes from what I have been reading. I wonder which gives more effects with the same flower and same amount in chamber. I also like how reclaim builds on glass of log to use in coffee. How does one clean the coil tube on plenty?

It’s not the best design to pass around, but the NewVape FlowerPot is my favorite desktop and I think it’s worth a look since you’re getting into desktops. The G43 is more pass-around-able and it’s in a similar vein, although it’s far more fragile (glass) and powered by a box mod instead of wall outlet.
Otherwise you’ve got several good options from other people, and there’s actually a new version of the Volcano @shredder mentioned that looks pretty good (but a bit expensive).

Another vote for minivap! It addresses what you want, hand held portable desktop power. On par with the evo. Go corded when you want or throw on the battery. Make sure you grab that AC puck. When I want a lazy session that thing wrecks me up. You don't have to think much with the minivap. Minivap on green baby!

If you like your Dynavap vaporizer, then get a Woodscents log. You can use your Dynavap vapes and parts with it...plus, you get a fully functioning Dynavap vape as part of the kit!
I have two, and I fucking love them!
Sounds like a LSV would fit nicely.
Exactly the reason I say replace it with a WPA and or J-hook, it is nearly impossible to clean.

The Woodscents (or any other log) will be ergonomically superior to the Plenty. Its not to say the Plenty is hard to use but its bit bigger. But to answer your question directly, the WS is typically used one-handed but as @LesPlenty pointed out, it can be used easily without hands if connected to water piece via WPA. I do this with mine often.
I wanted to share to not only show the easy no-hands use but also that logs can produce clouds. I feel like everyone should have a log. If the WS isn't within budget, consider an Enano or Underdog. Both offer vapes starting at lower price points.
Keep in mind that the Plenty either needs quite a bit of herb to work well or you will need the reducer plus capsules. I don't feel like capsules work as well in the Plenty but YMMV. Additionally, the Plenty is not very efficient while the WS is very very efficient. I micro dose with mine and it works very well for that purpose. Great flavor out of a log too especially if you use glass.
If you're stuck between the WS and the Plenty, I think you should consider an EVO. It is extremely efficient and can handle larger loads or very small ones. It can also handle concentrates better than either the WS or Plenty. I usually hook mine up to a whip or a water piece (dry).

Thanks...the addition of beads to my arsenal has been a game changer. I use them in almost all of my stems and I've since added about 30 more beads into that catcher. It definitely works to cool the vapor...works very well. If I remove a bead after pulling vapor through, that bead will be warm to the touch. All of the surface area makes for a great heat sink.
No taste loss since I don't use water. Can't recommend this setup enough for those that like to use water pipes. Clean up is much easier too without having to worry about water and mold.

Not sure how you feel about using a larger torch but another Heavy hitter to consider would be The Supreme. I don't know if they still produce the single or if its only the dually at this point but either way it The Supreme is one of the hardest hitting and best extracting Vapes in my arsenal.

I picked up the plenty today, got a good deal on her. Gonna try it tonight cant wait. I like it alot, you can tell she is really well built, very heavy duty. The thing I love the most about it is that it looks nothing like a vaporizer! Looks like an air pump for a bike.
Not into torching stuff, I always wanted a dynavap but stayed away from dynavaps until I learned about induction heaters, which I use now and love it.

If you ever get a WS it will work with all your Dynavaps (in place of the cap) and the WS works great with concentrates as long as you up he power to 13+ volts (like a Vapcap past the click)

I used to daydream about owning a spalted maple Heat Island. Even got on the waiting list, but I kinda drifted away from plugins for a while.

I think its hard to make a direct comparison of the two but I will say that I love my logs and I believe that I will always have one. I micro dose as I feel like its vastly more efficient than not and the logs allow me to do that easily. Flavor is excellent and I'm also a wood vape junkie so a log fits perfectly in my wheelhouse.
I love that builders are utilizing the 510 mods for dry herb vaping but I feel like we are just now scratching the surface of that potential. This isn't to say I don't like mine but I'm more excited about its future than present status. Just my two cents.

Easy! Just keep a suitable jar with lid of Isopropyl Alcohol, and pull off silicon tubes,
