New portable heavy hitter vaporizer

Wolf46

Vapor War Team Cap
hi guys, i'm really undecited about my new portable vape and i want your help.

I already have an arizer air, a grasshopper with 4 dying batteries and a dynavap ti woody. (Plus some other non-working vape like the ascent, a solo1 and some others).

All of them have some problem like restricted airflow or shitty battery life or harsh vapor or too small bowl so i'm thinking about buying a new one for daily use and i need some advice. (dynavap is the best of the bunch)

i want a REALLY heavy hitter with fast heat-up time (even better on demand) with good battery life and fast recharge (or swappable cheap batteries), big clouds, minor draw resistance, cool vapour without water piece, almost no mainteinance or cleaning and efficient with my weed.
form factor is not really a problem but i don't want a lot of glass because i'm clumsy...

i have a lot of vaporizer in mind but i have doubts or thing that i don't like for any of them and maybe you can tell me if i'm wrong.

mighty, no swappable batteries, slow heat-up time, no fast recharge, a lot of cleaning but it is a heavy consistent hitter with cool vapor and the king of portable vaporizer for a lot of people.

ghost mv1, pricey battery, looooong charge time without a pricey fast charger, 50-60 hith for charge is not that great with a long charge time, maybe not the most consistent every time and you need to stir? (i hate to stir during a session)

fierce (in pole position right now), maybe not a heavy hitter or consistent like the others?? not great battery life? (but you have cheap swappable batteries and fast charge so not really a problem), good but not great flavour even with the glass steam?! acceptable but not great heat up time? maybe harsh without glass?

firewood 5, not available in europe and i have a trip in a couple of weeks where i need the vaporizer and i don't know if shipping from america is fast enough (also additional money from customs duties)
also they are sold out right now.

davinci iq, maybe not really an heavy hitter or efficient with weed because of the conduction heating type? also high maintainance required?

brick family, i love the concept but i don't want another vaporizer with breakable parts or butane torch powered, i already have the dynavap for that.

boundless tera, it's in the list because it's a heavy hitter but i don't really like almost anything about this vape onestly.

510 box-mode like splinter, i like almost everything conceptually but i'm a total noob with firmaware or how to use those things and i don't really want to waste time learning a new vape method (my fault i know), also they are kinda big to use outside.

do you have something else in mind?

also, is any of those vaporizer any good with old fashion hard solid hash like the one you find in amsterdam coffeeshops (so no concetrates who melt with ease but solid block that you can use as a non-conventional blunt weapon, or sandy type hash like the hash blocks from amsterdam genetics)

thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

I just bought a Mighty. Go to their website. Longer battery life, and fast recharge. When I’m sitting at home, I keep mine plugged in, so when I leave, it’s ready to go! As far as EFFICIENCY: on Storz Bickel website you will see “dosing capsules”. Microdosing is amazing! Very efficient! This vape hits like a joint! Depending on what you set your temp at is what controls the harshness, I set mine at 365F and I’m very happy! The Mighty is the best vape I have ever owned. Wish I would have bought one first. It IS worth the investment.

You Tube is also an excellent resource. Search ‘Mighty vaporizer review’ and just look for the most recent videos! I say most recent, because they are for the updated Mighty.

Good luck with your search!

* The Mighty also heats up quickly!
* Also, using dosing capsules keeps your mighty clean!

I'd suggest waiting for the @firewood 6

Marc is due to drop it this summer.

Telling you guys fw6 don't miss out get on the wait list.
unfortunately i can't wait, i have an august trip in amsterdam and i absolutely need a new vaporizer before that.

i already saw a lot of review and video-review about every vaporizer on my list.

how fast is the charge in the new model?

also from review and feedback the heat-up time doesn't seems that quickly compared with other session vapes...

Take a look at the Vivant Ambit. She is a heavy hitter for sure. Well worth the price?

Not harsh at all. Gets a tad warm at times. But nothing crazy. Airflow is pretty free flowing.
just keep in mind that my budget is around 300 euros\dollars and i have no problem spending all the money in the budget if the product is good.
with that in mind, do you think that the ambit is on par with the vaporizers on my list? it looks maybe a little more "plasticky" than what i'm searching...leaving that aside it looks like the ideal device minus the non-swappable batteries and the fact that is not available in europe...
p.s. i really don't want to sound rude or ungrateful with this post, i really thank you for your advises.
(i'm reading through the ambit official topic right now)

I can't see any session vapes as a good heavy hitter option. The Mighty is nice but you still have to take a bunch of hits to extract even a dosing capsule worth. A Splinter with a wooden stem would be a good solution. A Lil Bud or Lil Bud Elite maybe.

My most heavy hitting portable is a sticky brick but you weren't trying to fuck with butane.

Accessory Maker
Lil Bud Elite maybe.

Have a look at the Elite. DNA chip without firmware stress, cheap, changeable batteries that can be recharged in the unit too, no breakable parts (except the glass inlay of the stem, which survived 3 days here :(), on demand and a handmade piece of art.

Personally I find the vape a litte bit too harsh without the glass inlay, but another great thing about the Elite, it'll fit all 18" stems, so you can use whatever stem or j-hook you like the most.

i'm looking at the lil bud elite, is it easy to use for someone with zero experience with box-mod?
can i use it like a traditional vaporizer with temp control? do i have to change coil or other parts after a while?

also why i can't find a single review on yt for this device?

It's pretty easy to use, yeah. Having some ecig knowledge would be nice as you can really do so much with the DNA75c chip, but I'd say it's fine to go in blind.

You will never need to change firmware, or connect to computer (unless you so desired) so it's easier than almost all other 510s off the bat.

Temp control is where it excels imo. Once you have it set to your liking, then yes all you need to do is adjust the temp, if that's how you wanna use it

The coil will never need to be maintenanced. Also an advantage over most other 510s

And honestly, there are no YouTube reviews because he hasn't given any units away for review to garner interest, as every other manufacturer does. It's a relatively new device and is fairly niche.

@funkyjunky is in Switzerland.

Good one#

@Wolf46, why not go with a cheap portable like the POTV One or the Ambit. It'll get you were you need to be while your away, & when you're get back home, you'll have time to do relaxed research & make a good decision for yourself. And you'll still have one of the above vapes to serve as an on-the-go stealth portable, so it will fill a usable niche. And yes, mediocre flavor at best, but they put out decent & satisfying vapor. And as said, it will get you where you want to be headwise or medicinally.

If you want a top tier vape now, considering your purchase time restraint, then I would suggest a Splinter Z. You'll enjoy the vapor & flavor experience. And as far as the mod is concerned, you don't have to jump on using tcr, just use simple wattage. There are many posts on the Z thread about members' wattage preferences for reference. You'll hone-it-in quickly. It's only downside is it's lack of stealthness.

Just my :2c:. :)

I already have an air, a grasshopper and a dynavap, i don't need another mid tier vaporizer for now, i can bring them in my trip but i want something better to use during my amsterdam trip (in my country i have ultra-shitty weed so i really want to vape good weed at least one time a year with a great and powerfull vaporizer)
The splinter and most of the 510 box are a little to big for me, also they don't seems really consistent like a mighty...i read about people who combust, people who don't have much vapor etc., I work all day and i don't have the time and patience of learning a new way of vaping with those things (again, my fault but it is what it is).

I'm studying like a crazy but every vape in my list has a deep flaw that i really don't like...

The mighty need a lot of cleaning, also not-swappable batteries.
The ghost doen't seems consistent like a mighty and the price of battery and fast charger is absurd, also it needs a lot of cleaning and battery life is not that great
The fierce lack of flavour and the vapour can be harsh without glass piece.
The boxmods are kinda complicated and too big
Every other vape is not available and i'm not sure if they can arrive to me in time
The tera is harsh and with plastic taste.

I'm going crazy lol...

Are there any cafes in Amsterdam that have quality in house vaporisers you could use while at the cafe. Then you would not need to take your own? You might get to test one you were thinking of owning.

Wishful thinking or pipe dream. Ha! :D

Some coffeeshop have the volcano.

There is a vaporizer shop that let you try the vaporizer before buying one but you have 2 problem:

Price in a physical store are pretty higher compared with internet.
You can't really see some of the problematics during a rapid try in a store...

Also i always prefer to use my personal device.

I'm currently studying the tubo evic but it's kinda big...

Been there, so fully understand the sentiment.

I'm studying like a crazy but every vape in my list has a deep flaw that i really don't like..

We'll that's the nature of the beast when it comes to vapes, you gotta compromise. :| Unfortunately, no vape has it all. For me, the Flowerpot (desktop) is perfection, but it even has a flaw - you can scold yourself severely with it if you don't pay attention. :o For portable use, the Z & the Ghost come as close to perfection as I need to be. So, I'm blessed I found 3 vapes that completely suit me.

Darn shame that time is not on your side. I wish you good luck in filling your niche.

Much luck with your decision!

I think weedgadget.com in italy has a tubo in stock.

Besides this, i would also suggest a splinter (Z) or a Mighty...
The Splinter is quite easy to use if you stick to Wattage mode and the Mighty is VERY easy and consistant in use, don t think too much about cleaning and the Battery life is really good, plus Pass through loading.
