That would be the most you could probably fit. I’m usually packing a lot less than that. But a comfortable full bowl is around .2-.25.

I pack less cause 1-3 hits is good for me. Unless I’m going hard on the day and want those full bowl sessions.

Why well known vape reviewers were not the first ones to get it?

The issue is the feedback you're hearing are from sample models that probably don't actually have settings that reach past 419F. However I have done tests with my thermometer and it totally reaches above the max temp available.

Between the readout, and the measured temperatures.

I watched 3 YT reviews. The Ruffhouse review showed the max temp of 446°F. He vaped a load at 335°F and scorched a fair amount. Who demos at 435°F anyway unless s/he is desperate to show clouds. The other two reviews I watched aren't worth mentioning.

I think @Momor was intimating, correct me if I'm wrong, that it is not in Vivant's best intetest to have these uninformed reviewers pushing their product. If that is the case, I wholeheartedly agree. Most seasoned forum members will know expectations of an $80 vape or whatever are limited, but neophytes are trusting and don't know better. ✌

I was an early adopter of the Haze Square which when it worked was amazing. But it was inconsistent. It was terrible in that regard. This vape. I pack a bowl. I know I’m getting some nice taste. Clouds. And it just works.

Same for me cant complete the order (for uk, not sure if they actually ship to uk). I've emailed them 3 times in 3 days no response. i just called them and no one answered. seems super weird to me. Thinking of giving up and getting a fury 2 but i like the look of the ambit more.

Also I agree with the people above seems weird that only low level youtubers have gotten units to review, unless the bigger guys are taking longer to make the videos. (Just signed up to make this comment dont know how to do the reply things.)

Someone also mentioned dosing capsules. I'd love to get some if they fit for this unit. can anyone who's gotten one confirm if they work with the fury/mighty dosing caps?

You have a good point @Momor but we are honest and experienced. We started this thread because we enjoyed our pre-production unit so much that we were excited to share, just like the honest reactions you see in so many review videos. We are sure Vivant doesn't spend their time researching every reviewers credentials they send units to, the goal for every manufacture is to get the word out about new products and since we have all seen the videos we would say it is working. Also your "well known vape reviewers" all want affiliate links so they get kick backs on each unit sold originating from their review. If Vivant wants to keep the Ambit affordable for us all, they can't be paying commissions to well known reviewers.

Swappable batteries would make the Ambit a nice EDC companion.

Ambit is too small to fit a standard battery cell. To get 1500mAh in this little guy requires a custom LiPo shoe horned in that it could not be easily swappable. The Ambit charges fast so a small power bank would do well with it.

The bowl is about .25 - .30 grams worth depending on grind and packing. Others report success micro dosing using Fury mesh capsules.

Just wanted to provide you all with my so called review or how I feel about the thing. Won’t be long by any means.

The screen is difficult to see when the sun is shining. The haptic feedback is a nice touch for sure. Bowl size is excellent. Device is super easy to clean. Bowl is easy to clean and keep clean. Sometimes I’ve gone 30 sessions without cleaning the unit. Under the screen in the mouth piece does get gunked up nicely. And it does need to be cleaned and soaked in ISO. Especially the mouth piece itself as you cannot get a q tip in it.

Screen size is perfect. Holes are a perfect size. Overall good draw resistance.

Was hesitant on how flat the mouth piece was. But after use a few times it was fine. No longer became an issue for me after a few times using it. And the draw was perfect. Can draw hard and long or quick puffs like a pipe. Still visible vapor with both methods with decent flavour.

Battery charges fast.


Bowl is a great size. I packed a third of the bowl. No tamp. Got nice visible vapor at 170C

Heats very fast.

Nice dark abv at 215C. Very even for the most part. Think I may have seen a tad charging at that level. Not 100% sure. Normally don’t vape that high. 170c is my go to on this. And the abv was nice and light coloured and even.


The size on this thing is amazing. It feels great in your hand. And even the finish is nice.


This thing is legit a pocket vape. Light weight. And it has a pretty damn big bowl which is nice. It works good for small loads. And works great for bigger loads. Bigger the load bigger the clouds I get. I normally only pack small bowls food for 2-3 small hits.


Clouds galore off this thing. It’s definitely a pleasurable experience. I enjoy using this thing. It is a nice session vape. What I really like is how you do not need to pack a full bowl to get great results. Unit gives great results with a small load of big.


10 bowls on battery.


Approx 19 bowls before cleaning. Should probably clean now. Mouth piece gets a bit gunky. Especially where it folds out. Has a lot of resin on it. Not that this is a flaw at all.

All and all very impressed. Flavour is pretty good on the first hit or two. Remember I pack small bowls. So my flavour really goes quickly. But I also only get 3-4 small hits. When I pack full bowls I’ll get nice flavour on the first 3-4 hits before it tapering off. Sometimes the very first it doesn’t provide much vapour and sometimes it does. Depends on how long I wait after heat up to hit it.

It says that on Vivant’s Ambit page but when you scroll down to the “What’s included in the box” section, it doesn’t list the WPA. I’m assuming it doesn’t come with one if retailers are getting stock of the WPAs for sale.
