Glad to hear your about to be back up and running!

Would really love to see you work on some new cores. Specificaly, Adding some thermal mass to the cores so that they can hold up better to group use and/or repeated use with a bubbler.

Would also love to see a litter of Alpha core pups released.

Can't wait to see what you're going to be coming up with. Really happy to hear you are both getting back up on your feets.

I'd like to see some mass added to the bottom to keep it from tipping over or getting pulled off the table just from the weight of the cord. Have you ever considered putting some large zinc washers in the bottom of one? You could inset them into the bottom and they'd be hidden by the leather bottom. Might have to finagle a bit to keep them from punching through the leather (well, causing it to come loose over time, anyway).

I second this! Love my pup, but I'm worried I'm damaging it everytime it falls over because the cord shifts or twists.

Thanks for the input both of you, we can definitely look at doing that.

Hey there FC'ers, what things would you like to see us producing once we're fully back up and running?

Hey there UD!

I have not been around these parts often because after I got my UD I have been cruising along nicely, high af ever since. Poor thing has only had a few hours off in the last few years, runs like a champ!

I'm not too sure how much of a pain they are to manufacture, but I was lucky enough to grab an oversized full stainless steel stem from you a while back, and I would be so upset if I ever lost it! I have periodically tried going back to the underdog standard nylon and steel, smaller stem from time to time, but I always end up somehow combusting a tiny bit sooner or later either due to the warmth of my dog or due to my own incompetence.

Anyway, I have always been a bit surprised not to see these up for sale when i randomly check your storefront. I think that if other UD fans had a crack at one of these fat metal stems they might be swooning as well.

Grabbed a couple of small items on your shop a few days ago, including a nong stem. Looking forward to being able to use my dog with water again, have not had the opportunity for a couple of years now after I broke my poor bong and my gong.

Hope y'all are doing as well as you can, all things considered and what not!

Yup. Mine has several dings in it. Worst is the time I woke up and found out I had knocked it off the coffee table and upside down into a basket full of yarn ... EEEP! Nothing charred, no fire. Not even a "hot smell".

But scary to wake up to.

We've actually done both before for custom orders, weighted and a magnet or both.

PICTURES PLEASE! And here I was getting all proud of myself for having such a Brilliant and Original Idea, LOL!

i haven't gotten my underdog yet (on the fyt list) but a heavier base sounds like a good thing to me ...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! What is that in your avatar, a Zombie Zebra x Tiger????

So I just went out and bought what is likely to be the last MMJ for me for years to come (given the benighted and backwards attitude of certain Tejan Politicos on this subject).

AAAAAAND as usual the stuff is drydrydry. I swear to dog they have no idea how to properly handle bud here in NV. I'll have to wait several days just for it to rehydrate, which (while making the vape smoother and unharshing it) does nothing to restore its original potency. I got better schwag back in the day than I have been able to buy here in NV since they finally opened dispensaries. The only dank I've had this whole time was the one time I accidentally bought from a blackmarket dealer.

Nice to see you around these parts, thanks for stopping by and as always happy to hear about you enjoying your Dog.

Are you talking about the very heavy, think stainless stem that fits over the center core tube.. basically a long stainless version of the glass direct draw stems?

If so they're not too hard to manufacture but I never heard much feedback on them so we stopped making them. If enough people were interested we could make a batch again and if not we could always make one-offs but the costs would be higher that way.

Sorry to hear about the less than stellar flower, that sucks!

Sorry I don't have pictures of the heavier base or magnetic UDs since the changes were under the leather bottom and there was no visible difference between them and regular Dogs. I've made so many different custom Dogs that it's hard to keep track lol.

Hey! I've had my eye on a few log vapes and the underdog caught my eye for its compact size. Just want to ask how hard can it hit???

Hi there CAB, this forum is a bit dead these days.. I think most of the Dog Pack has moved over to Instagram, Facebook, Reddit and YouTube. You might want to ask your question on one of those platforms to get a faster response. Or you can check out customer videos on YouTube and see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=LLmVnQxC5geM0WCgzXZm79HQ

To answer your question I think most users would say their Dogs hit plenty hard, hard enough to put you down for the day.

Old member here, took a 5+ year break off bud. Had a Purple Days back in the day as my daily vape.

Just got my Underdog (zebra laminate), 8 business days to Australia which is amazing. For some reason though it runs incredibly hot, first day it actually fully combusted (red cherry) on 11.5, so now my NonG and my bong stinks, will have to clean them.

Now I run it on about 8.2 through a EHLE 250ml and get thick milky clouds, dark brown AVB. Quick heat up (can hit in 5 minutes), nice and small compared to old PD's. Plug very secure. NonG stem included works great with bongs.

It was such an easy 10/10 but I'm really disappointed that it combusted on the suggested settings, just so confused why mine runs extra hot... using a 15V DC 2.4A with the included VVPS.

Hi @CABtheFISHKING

I got my Dog in late 2015 and can confirm that it does, indeed 'hit plenty hard'.
It works great and it looks great too... then there's the stellar CS.

Thanks @brainiac

Hi Chubba,

Glad to hear your Dog arrived quickly and safely.. 8 days isn't too shabby.

The heater cartridges vary in their heat levels from normal to super hot and so non-custom pieces (customs we try and let the customer choose) will randomly fall into that range for the finished vapes. Our suggested settings are just an average across all the heaters and works pretty well... except when someone gets one from either extreme end of the spectrum. Sorry yours is a super hotty and that you combusted right off the bat, on the upside that makes it easier to run on 12v car systems with power to spare and in your case it sounds like you could run it from a 9v+ battery pack.

Now I've had some time to use, I'm super happy with my Underdog, it's a strong improvement on my original Purple Days in every way.

-Small size much better for vapor bonging.
-Plug is secure, this was my pet peeve with the PD.
-NonG works perfect, I don't use any other stems.
-VVPS is so much better than a set voltage, I love having full control.
-Heat up time is amazing for a log, works in 5 minutes, full clouds in 10 minutes.
-Great bowl size (I use 0.05g).

For a log, I have to give it 10/10. Thank you (and the other log makers) for filling the hole in the market that Purple Days left.
