The Vapexhale looks like a much nicer buy for the price. Nice contraption but I was expecting more. I though their next vape was gonna be portable?

whats this "all glass transfer"? are they saying all glass air path? it seems as if its a similar connection to the regular GonG hands free 19/22MM connection. so are we to assume that the DBV and GonG SSV wands will connect with this?

looks pretty nice. looks useful, but at that price it should include some real glass like the cloud does. and it looks as if the $320 price is an introductory price.. and that the normal price will be $500...? :o this puppy should be around $200-$250 max IMO.

would love to try it though. looks nice and small. would probably work well in a vehicle.

cant wait to hear reviews.

*EDIT* interesting to see this on the site...

"Be aware of imported vaporizers, they are most likely knock offs of a good American brand, using the poorest of quality materials and may also use toxic glues to hold the parts together. "

Other than the price, I think this looks promising! I would love to see a video of it in action.

I can't tell by looking at it how it works exactly, what is the transfer wand?

If anyone really actually looks at the thing you will realize it is pretty much the same thing at the SSV & DBV, only difference is the upright angle and half the enclosure comes off so that you can use it like a Hakko.

Just a glass stem for you to inhale from so you can use it as a direct draw vaporizer.

Not a bad thing though. The Hakko-like feature is very cool i think. I would consider buying this. At this price though, it's competing with the Vapexhale(once it comes out). Which i would much rather buy than this.

Credit for launching a new vape.
Demerit for not revealing even one photo of the heating unit.
Demerit for high price -- lack of accessories.

It hits me as a cross between a SS and PD with a heat wand tossed in for good measure. :2c: I personally wouldn't be interested in this vape but each to his own.

If I didn't already have an SSV and already dedcated some loot to the cloud, and didn't have my MZ either, I'd be in. Either way, this bad boy is on my radar now, i'll prolly wind up ownin it eventually.

$$ does seem a bit high.

I would like to know if there's any difference in the guts of LSV and the SSV, and if the LSV heater covers will work o the SSV. I've always thought the SSV could use a heater cover with a male gong on it, and nice gong bowl with a female top. I use my SSV as a heat injector all the time, i almost never use the whip.

After the launch special, I have to assume the cloud on its own will be under $300, so if you can get a cloud and a hydratube for a bit more than just a LSV, thats a no brainer.

Thats like ditching a Bentley for a Ford Focus

The more I think about it, the more I can't get past the price. Look at the features of the other vapes in this price range and look at the price of the other heat injector type vapes(supreme, VHW)...I just don't see what I'm getting that makes this cost double. Put that up against the cloud's into price-an extra $30 gets you a hyrda tube and a vape, which is also glass on glass, and made by some super cool people who are acceessible and active in our community.

Sounds to be very versatile by the description, but i am still unsure exactly how it works. I think this is the portable that 7th Floor has been working on so long. I am sure a demo or how to will be out in a couple weeks. Looking forward to further updates.

That just happened...
It says in their website that the normal price is $499. It's currently on sale for a "special" price of $319.

And if this isn't a soldering iron please elaborate.

Like Stinkmeaner said, it looks like a very similar heating element to the ceramic ones used in the DBV and SSV. Find me a soldering iron with a ceramic tip.

all of the Hakko irons have ceramic elements

all you have to do is remove the tip and you have the same type of element that you will find in the SSV, DBV, and the LSV.

this Life Saber is nothing but an adjustable soldering iron without the tip. what makes it worth to some is that they have made the custom inclosure with glass on glass connections.

but in essence it really is just an adjustable soldering iron... as are the SSV and DBV. they expect the extra money to cover the R&D of the piece. of which it seems most feel is not warrented.

works just like a DBV or a SSV in hands free set up. Glass heater cover goes around ceramic soldering iron piece just like DBV and SSV. And the air path is pretty much the same, Air goes into a little hole and swirls around ceramic and then goes up into whip. But instead of using a whip and some tubing, it is just a really long glass piece. Instead of a 90 or so degree angle, this one is a straight set up.
all they did was take a DBV is straighten the air path and shrunk the housing around it so it is all hand held.

They chose to post here yesterday, and nobody has even responded yet. I do have to admit I am excited for someone to give this a chance and review it. Not fair to be naysayers before we see the results. That being said I am still saving my money for the Cloud.
