its approx 10 mm. i bought some off amazon https://www.amazon.com/Tubes-Borosi...mm+glass+tube&qid=1557091686&s=gateway&sr=8-3 a couple years back! the other alternative is to contact @Alan personally. he makes the stems for Mike.Alan said they were fitted before he sent them. When I broke mine he said the best thing was to send it back so he could fit it. I bought the six pack and fitted them myself. I will say that the diameter varies just a bit form stem to stem. Some of the 6 I got fit better than others. Couple were too big and I relegated them to Log Vape duty!

Of my 50 plus units (Elites and Classics) being worked on, 20 are sold. This includes a couple of replacements. That's 12 Classics and 8 Elites all told. These units will now be assembled and shipped, hopefully by mid to end of May. Any units purchased this upcoming week will be included in this batch. Nice to have some stock.

I've had my glass-lined stems in the cleaning pile with a bunch of other glass for a couple of weeks and finally got back to using them after I cleaned them this morning.

The LB is a fabulous vape regardless of the roasting tube used, but for me, when I use the glass-lined tubes I got from Alan, it becomes the Holy Grail vape. I love the feel and flavor from the glass, and I think the reduced diameter is just perfect for my draw.

I believe the reduced diameter is the ANSWER! 8mm IMO is the perfect size to control draw speed and get the best hits without combusting.

Lately I've been working at building inventory. Regardless of sales rates, I'm building both Classics and Elites. The inventory right now stands at about 50 units in pre-assembly. That's a combination of Classics and Elites in Walnut, Cherry, Maple that are about 45 minutes from completion. Working with that inventory, doing my best to keep it stocked, I will ship once per month. The current batch is being assembled now, and you can squeak into it if you place your order before the below sale ends (may 12).

I do have a bit of PH around. I'd need the old plate to replicate exactly, or better yet, the unit, for a perfect fit.
I've started assembling the 12 Classics on this May batch. Once they're done (within a couple of days), I'll do the final buff on all 24 units (Elites and Classics). By the week's end, I shall be totally caught up on all LB orders.

This mega bath is just about done. Every Lil' Bud Classic on back order, repair, or any other situation is just about ready to ship. I'm about to take some cool pics, then pack up on Friday. Between Classics and Elites, we broke 2 dozen (biggest batch ever). I also have a nice little inventory of Classics that are in pre-assembly, and any units purchased today can ship in June.

I'm northeast from you and I ordered a Walnut Lil' Bud Classic on 4/19 (thank you for the 4/20 discount too).
Because of all your progress posts I feel like I've almost watched this vape being born the last month. Knowing a bit of what you the creator had going on in life and learning somethings about the building process along the way is a magical thing I've never experienced with buying a vape before and as a result I feel closer to this vape all ready. I know I will now have a stronger connection to this piece of art created by your hardworking hands than any other of my beloved vapes.

My vape building is an open book. Today, I've got a lot going on, but not too much to stop the *buff show*. I'm going to attach the buff wheel to my new drill press and have at it. I'm going to be taking new pics for the website as well (and to post here). I need to get creative.
Last night I watched *Weeds the People* on Netflix. If you've been consuming cannabis on a daily basis as long as I have, you're gonna love this show, but you also need to get ready for some heart wrenching stuff. Nice to know that vaping flower delivers the full compliment of medication. Thanks LB.

Got off early, got some super crystally "shake" loaded up the ol' lil bud "classic". Here is the result: : What an awesome, simple yet powerful all cherry wood vape. I have no glass tube, no SS foil liner, still getting unreal delicious hits every time I push the button. If anyone wants a vape that you can truly hit once or twice, set it down, come back later and hit again without your material getting cooked I mean ANY more than your last hit cycle, you need a lil bud, I would have never thought ( Pre LB) that an ALL WOOD vaporizer was any kind of good idea. Boy was I wrong. No heat hangs around longer than you want it to.... I know I repeat myself here, but this LB classic is just plain ol dependable and great. Always in the rotation ( of 4 vapes). Buy one, you'll be stoked!! Cheers to Mike and Alan and fc. !

The May batch got split, as planned, 10 went today, 15 next week. Most of the units shipped were Classics (tracking will be sent by tomorrow AM). I kept a couple for light box pics, as well as the result of splitting up my international orders (3 this week, 3 next), but these are all were pretty recent orders. I had one issue with an incorrect address, or at least the post office couldn't confirm it. I hate when that happens. I never want to take the chance and send it. I always return and ask the customer again.
Overall the entire batch looks spectacular. I kept back a few units to take pics in my new light box (arriving Sunday). A simple box / tent with opaque sides, white / blue / black or red background, and a couple of lights beaming in can create just the kind of pics I need. Looking forward to showing these latest unit off.

Got an email from an irate customer who purchased on April 19 (May shipping promised). I shipped his order on Friday. This is some of the disrespectful *bs* I have to deal with.

Sounds like someone should medicate a little more. I ordered same day and the website said shipping in May in big letters, it's still May...
There's been more updates on this forum than a customer could ask for, but I guess I'll have to assume they aren't reading everything here either.
Don't be disheartened, sir.
As you know, many more people appreciate and respect what you're doing in a positive light everyday but they will not always be as loud as someone currently swept up in a negative vibe like that.
