Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

 @MonkeyTime.

I'm back on the EVO, concentrates this Saturday again :). I did two microdab sessions of Super Lemon Haze live resin, which were very nice and smooth with great flavors. It was using the Precision Honeycomb hydratube @ 12 o'clock on the dial with no heat soak. I used a new glass nail and it was a different width than the other one I've been using (both boro)? Gonna have to find out about that. It seemed to trigger the red heater signal more but the experience was pretty much the same... other than a bit more of a delay from the time to visible whispy vapor after dropping the nail into the EVO :sherlock:.

After that, tonight I started in on the new Blue Dream strain I recently picked up, a 1/2 ELB of fresh flower. First time with this batch and flower :). I agree with the sativa leaning description and I'm definitely impressed a lot with this batch! Very potent :science::science:. That potency was observed everywhere including very dense vapor and more dense clouds :luv:. One draw in my second session @ 1:30 on the dial (~380F) was simply too much for me to hold :haw:. The Blue Dream is a great strong batch and excellent experience tonight with the EVO . Highly recommended!

Enjoy the weekend with the EVO :peace::leaf:

I tried a few desk top’s that impressive would be a word to describe this experience.
The EVO Just was perfect for my definition of BLISS!
The unit with the crack started acting differently than when it was first purchased and the crack seemed to be the cause.

Maybe the new unit is acting differently than the old unit did when first purchased because it is calibrated differently and it's just a coincidence that it's working similarly to the way the old unit did when the crack appeared. I remember seeing posts from members where even new units reach different temps at the same point in the dial. You may have to move the dial around to find "the old similar temp" you're looking for.
while I also thought that at first, when I inspected the bamboo it has the exact same crack as my first Evo and it’s in the exact same spot - right out of th box, it’s a clear circular and kind of jagged line across the bamboo it’s clear as day when you shine a light on it.// sorry I didn’t mean to include the other post in my reply

I have 2 EVO’s and they are amazing 2 me?
VAPXHALE has decent repair shop’s?

Hi guys !

First sorry for my approximativ english, i will try to do my best.

So i'm here because i'm in search of the best safe/medical desktop vaporizer (but if you have for portable i'm interested too, i use the Vapcap M actually). I have the Vtower and SSV but they got a ceramic piece exposed and i read that it could release molecules so my question is: is the EVO the best medical vaporizer on the market with his full protected/isolated glass airpath ?

Is there problem on the new version ? I read there are some probleme with their customers service is it true or just a "legend" ?

Thanks !

Welcome my friend!
I was a joint smoker for a longtime b-4 I tried vaping!
Da EVO delivered the right experience 4 my liking.
Customer service had been excellent concerning issues!
Do what is best 4-U?
B--4 I was recreational?
Medical 2-day!

Hi Ataxian, thanks for your welcome :-)

I vapes recreational sometimes, but my first use is medical (1 bol of 0.1g indica strain per day just before sleeping). I'm a little bit paranoid about vaporizers because we only have 10 years since they are on the market (perhaps few years more) and i got the fear that in 10-20 years science say to us "thix way was sh*t because of ceramic, plastic, or so ...). I try to eliminate risks as much as possible

My palette after living in various continent's became hyper-sensitive ?
Da EVO had the taste required!

I have had my EVO for three years....it died almost immediately....infant mortality of the electronics which does indeed happen. I had absolutely not problem with their CS, they repaired it under warranty, and it hasn't missed a beat yet.

If you are at all like me as a med user, I want strong and fast effects and the EVO delivers every time for me.

Now, IMO a hydratube is indeed needed to get the full benefit out of an EVO. Bit pricey but wow do they work well. I have the classic Turbine HT and like it very much.

Hi Baron23, thanks for your reply !

I want to use a bubbler but not the Hydratube, i think it must be great for quality vaping but i don't like to have water over an electric device and another thing i don't want to do a false move and crack th "head" of the vaporizer.

About the "head" and "bamboo", i heard there are cracking cases, is it because of high temp or the vapo is "sensitive" ? If i broke the head or bamboo is it possible to replace it ? I expect the warranty does not support hardware problems right ?

I don't know what a "head" is but I do know what the "bamboo" is and it includes the joint that sticks up out of the top of the EVO enclosure.

Yes, its breakable...its glass. No, IMO only it is not a faulty product, not overly sensitive, and I think we need to keep in mind the very wide range of people who use vapes and the VERY wide range of their care and handling of such devices. Some people are clumsy and drop stuff a lot....some are too stoned and drop stuff a lot....and some are just morons who don't care well for their stuff.

They do get dropped (I have never dropped mine but it seems other have) onto hard surfaces and I imagine for any way to abuse this wonderful vape there is some fool out there doing it.

Yes, VXH will repair a broken bamboo....$75-80 repair fee I believe. Something like that. Ah, here it is:

We designed the unit to withstand years of proper use, however, service fees may apply if repairs become necessary. Actual repair costs will vary but estimated fees for repairs are as follows:

1) Administrative fee for all services done by XHL - $20

2) Burned out Heater* - $125.00

3) Broken Bamboo Glass - $94.99

4) Damage to electronic system due to use with 3rd party equipment. - $150.00

5) Housing Replacement Service - $75.00

*Burned out heaters are typically the result of leaving the unit on 24/7. It is not recommended that you run your EVO with any device that will keep your unit running 24/7. This extended usage can cause damage to your unit, and will void the warranty.

As far as the HT goes...I don't share your concern about putting an HT with a bit of water in it on top of the EVO. It works and if you don't drastically (let me emphasize drastically) overfill it then I just can't see how it would leak onto the heater. Remember, there is to be NO water in the lower HT chamber.

But, we are all different and entitled to our own opinions and worries...I know I have mine! haha

Ah, by the by, if you want to tag someone, you need to put an ampersand in front of their name like @Above2cloudz

best of luck

Thanks a lot @Baron23 ;)

Yes the thing i called "the head" is that you call the joint, my bad.

Ok so it's glass but strong, well, i was a bit worried about this part and they can repare it if it broke (I would have preferred to buy the bamboo and change it myself in case but it's better than buy another)

Another question, is there several versions of the EVO (like the V-Tower for example) or the device has not changed since its release ? What is the last version (i don't want to be "scammed" by my vendor)

No, no multiple versions. There was the Cloud and then they improved it to the EVO and that's where its at for quite some time.

I hear what your saying but I don't think it was an improvement, at least not performance wise; I rarely use my Evo and have purchased multiple Clouds. I think the Evo is more cost feasible/profitable for the company and it has a replaceable bamboo and most of them don't stop working, but they often whistle a lot and vapor production is not as good on the margins, at least for flower.

Cloud (ticker), Cloud Plus, Evo--i think were the "versions"

The earliest cloud that we 220V international user have is the run-away EVO which I still own but it does not work as good as the normal one though. I have the second one since Indiegogo and is still kicking strong too. If you look after it, I reckon the EVO is a reliable, hassle-free and easy to maintain vaporizer imho!

The time to temp is longer than all of my other vapes BUT once you arrive at that temp ... definitely worth the wait!

I usually mention the above when there is a possibility that the main use will be medicinal. Just in case waiting minutes for that first draw, due to the health issue, is going to be a problem.

My wife's medical needs don't make the EVO a good fit because in her case seconds count BUT when she's up for a recreational session the EVO is a first choice. I can tell because when I'm using the EVO and she's in a good place and hears that EVO whistle she comes a running!

The evo is awesome but the first 50 clouds built by Robot are indeed the best they ever made. #49 still ticking away for me

Ticker #777 running great!

Evo was necessary for Vapexhale to survive, it seems, so glad it came out. But Cloud is still better.

I think we can all agree we're glad it wasnt named "the eagle" as originally proposed. Lol.

I'll never bought one

Yesterday i watched videos about the whistle ... wow .... i hope mine will be more silent i have neighbors and i vape only on night before sleeping i don't want to wake up all my block :\

It make me laugh when i saw this because i thinked i had found the perfect vapo after so many time searching and then ... there is another "problem"

I will test it before crying but if you have tricks to avoid the whistle in case i'm interested.
