buy one? he's sitting on the couch throwing poop at the tv.
he hates tarzan movies so i play them to annoy him.

@SquirrelMaster i keep trying to count but usually end up spacing out. when the device is down to one green light i stick it on the fast charger. i get stoned using it but at the moment, i'm going through a lot more bud than usual. we shall see. :)

UPDATE to my rant. i was searching via bing. when i thought hey, let's try google. i started finding some helpful info. none so far as i've read answer my questions/concerns but it's something at least. i'm a bit embarrassed by my rant but it remains as written. i'm nothing if not honest. mostly! :)

got my ghost. kind of confusing. if there is a youtube out there with any answers to questions or problems, i haven't been able to find them. the 2 guys who did the videos for ghost don't mention a single problem and quick fix and oddly enough, never seemed to have done the video on using the app which they said they'd do about a year ago. oh and hey, the mouthpiece just slides right out. such fun when stoned. let's play who the fuck lost the mouthpiece! yay!

never saw that mentioned in any of the vids or things i read. it's quite possible i'm just not searching for the right things.

i downloaded the app. it paired fine, it updated fine. recharged the battery, now i can't get it to re pair up with the ghost to save my fucking life.

i charged the battery with the quick charger for 4 hours. i drained the battery in no time. the device is hot hot hot after some vaping at 365ish F. ..IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN 390ish...

what is with the blinking red lights? like 10 blinks in a row then a buzzzzzzz. does it mean low battery? it does it when battery is still at 70ish percent.

not happy, not pleased, not a newb.

all i find at another site where ghost reps are active are 1 year old posts (about a year seems to be a default. although there are posts from a couple hours ago, they are in long strings of problems, fixes, attempted fixes, call ghost, email ghost, maybe this will work...

for fucks sake.

how do i re pair up the app? i do exactly what it says but nada.

not happy, not high, using my herbalizer while waiting for the quick charge device to "quick charge" the battery for the 3rd time since yesterday about 12 pm. i'm retired, have a medical pot card and vape about 1 gram of bud a day. might be a great device for very casual users, as far as i can see right now, potheads need this like they need a cop asking what that smell is.

i have ordered a battery pack and crucibles but as it's some little shop somewhere i think they don't really have them and now i have to contact them to cancel the order and wait for your supply people to resupply you which apparently could be any day, month or year now.

i'm an old contracts person. purchasing agent etc. how your supply chain could be so fucked up is beyond me. do you have a contracts person? or is it a cousin who needed a job? i'd love to see your contract with your suppliers. any penalties for fucking up? any penalties that you can actually have kick in right now to keep you in the accessories business? nope, nope, and nope.

you didn't have a contract, you had a shit document that put the entire burden on ghost. get your shit together or you'll be like the herbalizer folks. out of bidness!

it seems like you really have a $400 plus device after you add in the necessary quick charger and the necessary extra battery pack and extra crucibles. cute trick but it's a trick and consumers don't typically like tricks.

if my mighty didn't have cracked plastic falling off it, i'd be on that like a baby on a nipple!

i need a phone number. too many odd things happening for a back and forth on line.

just like the old days with games, put out 1/2 finished product and fix it as you go.

thanks ghost. i appreciate the stress.

after trying again and again to re pair up the ghost, i deleted the app and reinstalled. now i can't sign in to my ghost account. lol

i hit login an icon whirls for a couple seconds and then it just stays at the login page.

@ghostvapesofficial

i'm going to go take a large poop on a couple reviewers of vapes. does ghost pay for the cheery reviews where there are never any problems or WTF moments that come up and then go away for no apparent reason? pete and vapecritic , you are on my shit list. :)

well, i can sign in on line but not via phone. still trying to make myself happy using this thing...
found the faq on ghost.com. yay. still nothing that helps my concerns but ive got a lot more to read.
Besides latch and peeling paint of the heatsink this vape is bulletproof and those issues are minor

To repair the app to your ghost you need to make sure your bluetooth is turned off, location turned on, then make sure your ghost is on, open the app, it will prompt you to turn on bluetooth, say yes and it should pair right up, if not try to re-pair it

is this normal?
@ghostvapesofficial

just woke up. battery fully charged. put in a pod, set at first orange, no vapor, tried 3 times. put on 2nd orange, took one toke, no vapor. tried to take 2nd toke, nada, tried 3rd toke, got flashing red lights indicating it's too hot to vape with. 2nd ORange? is this normal? i normally just inhale a little bit, with this device, i'm inhaling for at least 10 seconds. slow and steady and fast and steady. no difference.

EDIT: i wiped the bottom of the silver removable thing and now i got a couple so so hits at 2nd orange. just a quick wipe of the bottom fixed the problem or what do you think?

i guess the fair thing to do is try to figure out how to clean this beast. ugh.

ok, i didnt dip anything in iso, but i wiped everything down with iso pads. just set a new pod at 2nd orange and first hit was good. so i guess i just need to wipe this thing more often. like a baby.

i got 5 good hits at 2nd orange. a hit for me is probably 1/2 the size of a normal hit. too many joints over the decades.

vaped the 2nd pod after cleaning. went to 3 orange lights, first hit, no vapor. 2nd hit, a little bit of vapor. 3rd hit, the fucking blinking red lights again. at 3 orange lights. i'm talking 10 sec or so draws. is this normal? @ghostvapesofficial

vaping 3rd pod. one orange light, good toke. nice vapor. i'm kinda confused.

in my own defense, i'm an only child! things are supposed to work out for me.

Hey brother, when you press the "vape" button, do you wait until the 2nd "go-ahead" vibration before you start your draw? If it's a cold start, it can be almost 7 seconds at times, but usually closer to 3 seconds after the 1st draw of a session. Also, it is recommended (by Ghost and I certainly 2nd it) to inhale for the full 15 second draw period - that is, until you feel the 2nd "draw-is-complete" vibration.

Peese!

I'd touch base with Ghost if I were u. I get great vapor even on draw #1 at setting F1 (one red light). Lower temps take 1 draw before I see vapor tho. If u r not over-packing or drawing prematurely u should have no issue producing vapor on F1.

I believe u said that u already tried the higher temp settings, but maybe do a fresh crucible filled to the top but not packed down, full battery, full 15 second draw on F2 as a test. This is what I do when I am in a hurry and just want to get right quick. Guaranteed at least two huge clouds.

Stay up my friend

i gave up completely and just used other things yesterday. today i thoroughly cleaned it. fully charged, lightly filled the pod with dry, medium grind.

first setting - got 2 decent hits. went 15 seconds for the first and 10ish for the 2nd.
then moved to 3rd setting . first hit, nothing, went about 10 seconds.
second hit, i drew harder and a bit faster and got a medium sized hit. some vapor, nothing to write home about (it's top shelf weed).
3rd hit, after 5 seconds or so the fucking red lights started flashing. took a few minutes for me to be able to press the toke button again.
looked at the weed in the pod. most was light brown, with some very green material around one edge. like green green. flipped the pod around and stirred it (pain in the ass)

once in cooled, i drew for 15 seconds, nothing. tried again for 15 seconds, no vapor.
just for shits and giggles, i went to 2 red lights. nothing again. i could put this abv in one of my 2 other daily drivers and get a good toke or 2.

so what am i doing wrong? i have watched a bunch of videos. i draw as directed. 15 seconds for the first toke and 10 or so for the rest.

i haven't given the rep the info she asked for yet. i'm still amazed that i bought this thing and have been seconds away from ordering a new mighty.

other attempts to vape has not been as good as described above. maybe one ok hit. sometimes the bud looks totaly untouched. even after a couple deep draws. i wipe the bottom of the silver part that pops out with iso pads, sometimes it clears up the sticky enough to get another ok, so so hit.

not happy, not impressed, and yes, i know, the reps will help me out. i don't see how as either this thing is defective or it's working as intended and is a bad vape despite you folks who do like it a lot. again, i'm not a vape on the weekends kind of guy. if i'm lucky and don't have anything to do, i vape all day everyday. only about a gram, plus some shatter, but i typically only vape .05 to .1 per load.

i don't see this thing being able to keep up with me. not even close. could be wrong, i'm still trying, but i see nothing to recommend this thing yet.

since im here and always toking, here's the latest.
set on second orange. so far, 2 good hits. like yay, kind of hits.

3rd hit, nothing. fuck. is the argument that it's spent after 2 or 3 tokes? i have delicate lungs and couldn't take a huge hit to save my life. i can barely do the 15 seconds but i'm doing it each draw.

moved up to 2 red - 15 seconds, just the slightest little poof of vapor. so basically, 2 good hits for .1 of bud. terrible . abv is medium brown. 2 much larger hits from either other device would not be the end of the .1. i'd get a couple to a few more hits. taking 6 second or so tokes is typical for me.

@stressed - it sounds to me like you have a bypass somewhere. That could point to either a defect, or something you can tighten up on your end. Either way, it's not working as intended, and I think you're wasting your time until you respond to Ghost. Why purposefully push on with a vape you suspect isn't working right, without responding to the manufacturer's attempts to help?

i'm a buddhist and a gemini. people have asked similar why questions my whole life. :)

the best answers are because and curiosity!

i trust you dude so i will desist from using the device until i talk to ghost. thanks

The resistance to getting help is obvious, which is unfortunate because it is souring your experience.

I would also be frustrated with what you are describing, and if you are not going to follow-up with Ghost for them to help you get the best experience, then I would recommend just getting the Mighty.

Let's face it... you like the Mighty, you are familiar with it, you are happy with it.
But please work with Ghost on this, because maybe there is a little issue that they are not aware of yet. Your troubleshooting might help future users if similar issues pop up.

I just opened the box and the mv1 looks awesome, but when I hit the unlatch button, the door only pops out about a 1/4 inch. It seems I have to gently but firmly pull it open with my finger(it’s pretty resistant). When it’s time to close it, I need to use both thumbs and really push down to get it to securely close. Anyone else have this issue? Thx!

Does anyone know if the mv1 battery is covered under warranty? I’ve owned my unit for 5 months and just now as I was trying to do a recharge, the pin in the micro USB port broke off into the battery pack. Hope it’s covered...

From website:

GHOST warrants the original battery that ships with the Device against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

Re: warranty on unit

GHOST MV1 Vaporizer (“Device”), against defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, a period which will be extended to 5 years from the date of purchase upon registration

Anyone have issues with the vibration from the MV1 getting weak? When I first got it, the vibrations were strong enough that I didn't need to be actively monitoring the unit to tell it was warmed up, but it's gotten to the point now that I can barely feel it, even with a fully charged battery. Not a huge deal cause the lights on the front also help, but if I'm walking around outside on a sunny day, it's a little hard to see those too.

I've been using the MV1 pretty much daily since I got it back in November, so not sure if this is expected to happen with a ton of usage.

had the ghost mv1 for 3 months I think it is rightly called the lamborghini of vapes whats amazing about this vape is that you can start at low heat and get great flavors not much vapor but still medicate you can then move up 1 temp at a time taking a draw from each then you can start on medium heat and get less flavor but more vapor or you can krank it up to max heat and get GREAT clouds and get medicated fast all done by one vape in one sesh I am glad I bought one
