I bought a piece off him probably over 2 years ago and eventually ended up breaking it recently.
Got it replaced along with one of his hydratubes and honestly was just hoping for it to be decent but I'm blown away by the quality of the welds and the thickness of the base.
It's over double the thickness of the original base I had from him.
It's slightly less wide than my original base but this thing is stable, it won't tip over easily and i definitely prefer the thicker base. The function on both are perfect and don't see any air bubbles in the glass.
Their may be some slight imperfections on the perc but i don't really see them and they don't seem to effect function at all. In short, definitely recommend.

Hot damn man I passed on his (or DHGate I should say) peyote piller sale cause the...octopus thing that the pillars all connect to at the top in the videos I saw were tilted. Not the pillars themselves so much but I didn't know if that would affect the preformance.

It feels weird to be pretty VAS'ed out for the time being. Still missing (haven't tried) a G43/Sublim/NV type attached straight to a joint piece & a true unregulated device but I really don't have the urge for one as the Apollo when at the right settings can be...kinda like one with a bit more effort than pressing the button down a little more lol.

Back to my point though im looking at all these glass pieces and am almost...nervous to be let down because this Rattle Can is better than the most expensive piece ever bought for function (Two tone black/Frosted Sheldon Black 6-Shooter Series set with 6-Shooter Ashcatcher & 6 holed bowl) but I get that variety is good.

I'm still a bit confused as to what the consensus on exactly what "too much" filtration is because when I asked on Reddit I got the impression that the "Swiss Tree" SteveLMZ would create o.o much bubbles as the pillars would take out more flavor than the Rattle Can.

Again I'm all for variety but I don't want a dust collector even if it is $30-$50 cause I love how well the RCan smooths out the hits without robbing too much flavor

you will never get a consistent answer on "too much filtration/diffusion" as it's entirely subjective.
Keep in mind a lot of rigs are designed for smoking so in most cases I find less diffusion is needed with vaporising.

But there's many variables when it comes to diffusion such as the vape, the herb, the temp.

I think this simplest way it was explained to me was :
MORE DIFFUSION = SMOOTHER-LESS FLAVOR
LESS DIFFUSION = HARSHER-MORE FLAVOR

Really all that's happening is bubbles are being created which create more surface area to cool the vapor,
the more bubbles and paths the vapor has to travel through the smoother it will be but at a sacrifice to flavor.

If I was to answer your question directly and give you my personal preference.
When I was young I went out and bought some giant cool looking bong, though now I'm older I mainly go for pieces 1/4th its size hah.
I find smaller pieces on the lower end of diffusion better for me as I love the flavor and most of the herb I get is smooth anyways.

oh dude I completely agree. I posted a list of all the Memorable Expensive pieces and again they were dope for combustion because there's no way my lungs could handle unfiltered. Doesn't it trip you out that back then the bigger the piece the more expensive it was, which Is still the case in cases but now you see tiny 6"er's going for $750 used and bought for like 10-20% more. But the function is there and I'm sure they're worth it to the people who buy them =)

Yeah.

For smoke you want maximum percolation, the smaller the bubbles in larger quantity the better because there's a lot of bad-tasting shit to clean out of there.

For vapor on the other hand, you want minimal percolation with larger/fewer bubbles because the vapor is already fairly clean.
You don't want to over-clean it or you start cleaning out the good flavors that you want to keep.

For me I don't know about the rattle can, that almost seems too little diffusion to me.
I'm sure it'd be flavor country. The rattle can is probably on the furthest end of the most minimal
amount of diffusion you could get besides dry vaping.
But as I mentioned earlier it's purely subjective.

I find I like a bit of diffusion paired with a small piece with a short vapour path.

I've always loved the (what I call tire percs cause I hadn't heard of mobius yet if they're the ones who created it) matrix percs for combustion cause it feels like your just taking a breath of air that tasted (what I though was "great" lol) awesome. I couldn't get a good milk going with my D020 reg with y TUBO (found that kinda funny) but it has a chipped MP so I have to use the Lamart cork and I'm sure that effects preformance in one way or another for other vapes but I really enjoy it with the Rattle can.

I actually planned on giving away the D020 yesterday to complete a Old Friend set up away from combustion cause he smoked more than anyone. It was shit weed but He was that dude that had the mentality of "Why not get this meh 1/8 for $25 [in like 2000] and just get more stuff to roll up homie and get higher than the $50-60 stuff." Which wouldn't be bad if the grade of material around us was consistantly good for that price but it was like once a month the only dude at that price rolled down with some knargly shit but it was mostly spoken for as he sent the group PAGER out that he was coming back into town.

Anyways that's a beautiful set-up man.

I'm finally getting to try the MUSA in it's original/Beta format with the ELB inside the post like an EVO and need something F to the A. Ancy! But from DHGate so I'm not sure if it warrants the term "Fancy" though but damn am I stoked.

The MUSA would be the best piece I'd be comfortable with having more percolation than the like a matrix to like a Fab Egg (It's technically an imaginary line in the sand cause I don't own one but really enjoy using my cousins and liked that in slow motion the bubbles get to be huge!

I think the coolest thing about the Rattle Can is that even when milking the vapor, it isn't (or doesn't seem to be) held in too many bubbles. So when one reaches that angled end it just spews out whatever was inbetween that bubble and the next one. Really cool to watch in super Slo-Mo; it kinda looks like a Volcano off gassing right before it blows it's top or has already and is just hot air asking from tons of different points as opposed to watching the bubbles disintegrate and vapor being where they were. Tried for like an hour to find a good way to get it off my phone to here with no avail. A millennial (tail end one but still) who can't work a freaking computer...id be screwed if it werent for blue color labor lol.

I am more into getting the most flavor out of herbs lately and based on what has been posted in this thread and elsewhere, the glass of choice for flavorful hits appear to be the diffusion pump. I was going to get either the Rattle Can or the FC-710 from Stevenlmz79 but this FC-710 from another seller was less than half the price so I decided to go for it. I am looking forward to comparing it with my current flavor champ which is the 8" Straight Fab with SOL perc from CCG.

Definitely into the rosin lately. In fact it's been all concentrates lately. I haven't used any flower in weeks.

Concentrates are very civilized to me. No crumbs and very little crud to clean up. Just a spent piece of cotton to throw away. The gongs stay pretty clean too.

Rosin does truly have the best flavor of all my conc.

This new bubbler will be my lyin on the couch, vaping around the house glass. My other bong is too big to take around the house and stays next to the nano at my home base. It will probably become best friends with the Fury 2 and the wpa.

Vaping on GG#4 rosin right now ;)

I don't really have any intention of buying any glass pieces with the male connection like the one for half the price has. I think a lot of people are feeling like that lately, which explains the significantly lower price.

Brother..........I ain't cheap I have surely been poor and I most certainly do not understand it either..............cannabis significantly improves the quality of my life.
The only negatives I have experienced regards cannabis have all been imposed upon me by others in the name of morality.
I put that in my pipe and bubble it sometimes...............goddamn bitter.

@Ramahs according to Insta, they got raided, product seized & accounts frozen by feds for not following the rules for selling water pipes across state lines and the PA state laws where they were headquartered. Not sure of any truth to this but that’s the repeated answer being given. If I see corroboration or real report details, I will post but it seems like TAG as quality middleman for China glass is over. :rip: :peace:
