Underdog Log Vapes

About to purchase the travel vvps offered on underdogs website. But they don't have 15v power sources available so I can't operate the vvps beyond 12v. Anyone know of links to source the proper ps I'd require?
I reached out to underdog as well but who knows when they'll get back to me.

Much appreciated

I just replied to your website inquiry. Let me know if you didn't get it!

Thanks @underdogette I'll purchase the one you mentioned. I appreciate the quick reply.

Do you have authorized retailers here in Canada, or directly from your website is the best way to obtain the travel vvps?

Right now we don't have a retailer in Canada so it's just available thru us for now.

I got in the summer of 2016 I think. I'm a stoner and I'm older so my memory isn't so good :)

Huh, should be an SC2 then. It could just have a slightly cooler running heater or be a particularly good wood at transferring heat out of the core.

Generally speaking regarding warmups I think most Dogs will offer some vapor production at 3-5 minutes, be at 80% performance in 15 minutes and be fully heat soaked and at 100% performance in 30-45 minutes. This is just an average but it's usually fairly accurate. :peace:

You know, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure my dog has always been that way. Like I said up thread, hasn't bothered me in the slightest. It's been a workhorse vape for me and the only issues I have had with it is a few burnt out extension cords, to be expected with how much I use it. I have zero complaints :)

Hope you guys are doing well !! I almost cried when I saw what happened in Paradise.
Great to see you progressing towards a solid recovery :)

How big is your dog? Mine heats up in about 10 minutes.

SC1 core according to UD website.

I have an SC2 core model (27320) and find 12-15 minutes are needed for first use. I have, at times, shortened that by turning it on full blast (13v from my ps) for 8-10 minutes and then ruducing the voltage, but normally I just turn it on 10.3 and let it warm up. Full heatsoak does take around 30 minutes at 10.3v.

Hey there FC'ers, what things would you like to see us producing once we're fully back up and running?

We're considering things like the multichannel VVPS options, wooden stems, different UD cores (like the Alpha, Micro, SC1, SC2, etc) vape stands, stem caddies. Pictures below to share fun stuff and give you all ideas of what I'm talking about.

Oh and these guys are also back, I've got about 60 of them sitting on the bench getting ready to get in the game. If you wanted a PodDog and missed out before you'll get a second chance when we make these ones.

New leash ('cable') seems to have healed my pud. Since replacing it have not had another issue.

Sweet! That's what we like to hear.

I just need a dual vvps. Have fun with those flying seeds, I recently made my younger sister a pencil holder with a banksia pod, wasn’t the funnest thing to turn :nope:

Oh you already I need some as tips once you get those suckers going again.. I have some blanks stashed away just for UD stems..

Thanks Kid, I'll make you a dual VVPS as soon as I get the parts in.. the shop is just about ready for little jobs like that. I'll probably have the tips in another month or two and we'll get you squared away then.

Yeah Banksia Pods are a royal pain (sometimes literally!) to turn as it sounds like you've discovered. After doing a bunch of them over the years I developed a sensitivity to the dust/chips from turning it too so I try to limit how often I work it it now.

Are you KIDDING? NOBODY eats GLUE!

It's the PASTE you eat. What kind of a school did you go to?

But seriously. I'm about to move. To one of the states with a more, shall we say, benighted outlook on the subject of medical marijuana (let alone recreational).

So I'll be retiring my UD for the foreseeable future. I miss it already.

Oh wow that sucks.. sorry to hear about the anti-mm-state relocation!

Other than the above I hope it all goes smoothly for you and I hope to still see you posting and hanging out even if you can't use your Pup in your new digs.

What are the oversize SS stems like vs the glass stems on a standard core? I love my small SS/nylon stems but sometimes liked the larger bowl with the glass. I just broke my 14mm gong and was thinking about getting an oversize nong instead if that's something you guys can put together. Otherwise I bet I can cut a direct draw and make it work with some silicone tubing.

They basically work just like the glass stems but without the breaking. That said I'm pretty sure we're out of them and we won't have more for a couple months.

We are planning on having a limited 4/20 sale so you could always grab a new GonG then and an OS NonG later once they're available again. :2c:

Glad to hear your about to be back up and running!

Would really love to see you work on some new cores. Specificaly, Adding some thermal mass to the cores so that they can hold up better to group use and/or repeated use with a bubbler.

Would also love to see a litter of Alpha core pups released.

Can't wait to see what you're going to be coming up with. Really happy to hear you are both getting back up on your feets.
