My whip goes from the GonG to the bong. That white thing sticking up is my ramrod. The silver part is exactly deep enough that it packs the weed so it sits a tiny bit above the heater so it doesn't scorch.

I love this setup. The E-Nano never leaves it's stand.

I prefer to use my ashcatcher/bubbler setup with my air 2, for longer sessions.
Nano rips in 2-4 hits there's no need to fuss about with the tube.

Nano feels like an electrical lighter replacement, I use it the way I would a regular lighter when combusting.
It's allowed me to milk up giant beakers so great and efficiently.

I wonder, have I been slightly combusting all these years?
With the nano on +/- 5,5 I get a few nice rips and barely charred material!

Oh I meant to say I prefer to use my whip with the ashcater & air combo.

I really like your setup Hackerman, I like the idea of not moving the actual nano, and also sweet glass!
The whip is just a air path for vapor to travel!

As long as the mouth is glass or some man made composite that doesn’t effect the experience?

I’ve used silicon whips befor however so far I prefer glass?
The NANO is on and ready to medicate me personally?
Everyone quit CANNABIS around?

HEALTH NUTS?

I guess I’m the only one who medicates?

Pretty harmless really!
@Hackerman i dig your water tool!

Long time no see folks... HA!

After 3+ years my e-nano finally cracked. It was my fault. I only had it set to 7.5 but was leaving it on 24/7 during a recent health issue where a side-effect was nausea. What probably did it in was the "polar vortex" that happened down here (dry freezing weather, gas heat at my house, etc.)

What's funny is I was in the room with it and heard it "pop" and knew exactly what it was...

I didn't shop around or waste any time figuring out what to do. I immediately placed an order for a new e-nano. I feel I got my money's worth with my old e-nano and now I have some extra stems, a spare power cord, etc.

Can't wait for it to take on the darker wood tone (cherry) to match my old one.

Thanks folks for making a great product!

Rippin through a nice thursday afternoon with my nano on a little over 5 on the dial.

Hey @ACE OF VAPE or @nadia_epic , have y'all ever considered offering a "stem sampler" pack? A package that includes like a variety of stems, fixed and adjustable screen GonG's, 14 and 18mm and/or a dry stem of one type?

Ho humm!

This TAG piece I got is really great with the nano, just a great vaping experience, the best way to do it (in my opinion )

I switch the water at least once per day, and doing so yesterday reminded me of the times when I was still combusting through some shitty plastic bong, and I would only change the water every few days or even more...wtf! Anyone else go through such a phase of insanity? :D

I've mentioned before that I've never been a "glass" guy. I use dry stems exclusively. To be honest, it's probably more laziness than anything else. I just don't care for the idea of emptying, cleaning, and filling a piece of glass with any regularity, when the dry stems already do everything I want.

So serious question: what do you think are the real advantages of glass over dry stems (e.g. cooler hits, etc)? And if I'm more than happy with the results I'm getting from dry stems, would it be worth overcoming my laziness for those advantages?

What @arb said: smoother and bigger. More of a sledgehammer effect. I do love the dry stem or j-hook with the Nano though, straight trip to flavour town! If you’re more than happy as you are then I’d say that you’re fine as you are. It’s not going to change your life or anything.

Arb is also correct about GAS being a very real condition! After years of immunity, I got a BAD infection so never say never, lol!

You can play around with different amounts of filtration, percolation, water levels, and get different variations of flavour/smoothness/"strentgh", and the amount of drag you feel (resistance when you pull) can change depending on what setup you're running.
So any piece will do at first, and probably be enough to enjoy. But you may slide into the wonderfull world of GAS ;D

I'd say stick with the dry stems. Glass care is a pain in the butt, and if your not diligent, your piece can have microbial growth.

A nice piece of glass does add to your session experience, visually filling a chamber with vapor and watching the bubbles dance around can become quite hypnotic/soothing.

Unless you are struggling with the heat/smoothness of the vapor, then by all means snag a decent water device.

I use glass mainly for visitors because it seems to be easier on some of their throats and/or lungs, some of them just seem to enjoy the bubbles. I use glass as a change of pace or to stack hits into but mainly I am a dry stem fan too.

Thanks for all of the replies - very helpful.

Yeah, the "diligent" part is what worries me. I'd keep up with it for a while, but when the novelty wore off I fear I'd neglect it.

But here's the thing - I've never really gotten into the whole "session experience" thing. I'm more of a "just get it done" guy. I'm only interested in the results, not the ritual.

I've got no trouble with the heat/smoothness from dry stems, so I think I'll stick with what I have for now.

Thanks again, all!

Edit to add: 99.9% of the time when I use my e-nano at home, it's just me. It's actually 100% currently, but I'm not ruling out having an e-nano demo for a friend at some point. So session guests don't really figure into it. I do partake when I'm out with friends, but I use a wax pen for that.

Sounds like you are set then. You could also consider picking up a J-hook and 18mm GonG adapter if you feel like switching it up a bit. The curve in the J-hook adds a bit of cooling.

I do suggest picking up a Smart plug for your nano, I have mine on a schedule so it shuts off @ 1AM and turns on 15 minutes before I get home. Could prolong the life of your nano.

I considered getting a timer back when I first bought the e-nano, but I'm theorizing that cooling and heating it every day will stress the wood more than keeping it at a constant temperature 24/7. I base that theory on nothing other than gut feeling, so feel free to shoot it down with facts.
