I like to maintain the temp when vaping. In other words I don't like to heat it up, cool it down, heat it up cool it down. Phattpiggy heats b4 cool-click to achieve the same thing. I just reset the disks by sinking the heat away. As soon as I finish my draw, I put the cap on a heat sink. Click and I reheat. I like to think of it as "Rolln on the River". And the hits keep coming.
My point being just sitting the cap on a stash magnet only gives you a h-sink the size of the magnet.
I have a steel bench block 2x2x7/8" that I put a VC magnet on. Now that's a heat sink. 'Just Rolln" Doc

The essence of a VapCap is the Cap/tip/condenser— the rest is “body, AKA, window dressing”? YMMV

The last several months I've been using exclusively several of the gorgeous @davesmith glass bodies. I use both carb and carbless. Of the glass bodies I have used, from three different vendors, his glass bodies fit the tips best. I think yours looks fun, wouldn't mind having one like it. I haven't used a condenser (including omni) in months. I got a @primitiveorganic version a couple of weeks ago. I haven't used it yet but I do believe it has a condenser, think I'll fire up today just to see the difference.

I got some magnets about 2 years ago for a product I was trying to develop that never got completely finished. The magents are stronger then normal ones, they are basically shaped like rings.

If someone can tell me how to post pictures I will. But the vapcaps will stick right in the center or on the sides of these magents and they are strong enough to pick up the from the sides of the cap but the top of the cap has a stronger pull. Don't know about diametrically or axially alligned or whatever but these work great. I found one pack but I think I've got a few more packs somewhere, they were more expensive then normal magents but they are stronger too.

I had 1 cap that seemed to be clicking later and later, it still worked but it was obviously clicking different than when it was new. And the 2 clicks were getting farther and farther apart. The clicks were at least 3-4 seconds apart then after finding these magents and using them I could kind of hear them pulling the clicker part and making it lightly click when it wasn't heated and now the 2 clicks both click right after each other or at the most they click a second apart. And these magents seem to cool the vapcaps quicker then normal magents, or at least they make the cool down click happen faster

Basically you need to post an image to an image posting site like tinypic.com and then link to it here in a post. This may help, but that thread has lots of good info.

To post a pic to a hosting site you save it on your desktop and then upload it using the upload tool on the site in question, like this one... http://tinypic.com

Ok so Becuase finances (I owe almost 2000 in taxes) I decided to build my first ih from scratch. Will save up and get a pipes Portside when I can.

So it’s all here, But my induction heater has 3 holes where the coil goes, and I only need 2, which do I use? I got the same unit most people here are using.

Going to use this 20a rated car switch, as a stand-alone on off switch until I better understand the need for a mofset, since the switch will be rated for above the amp draw.

The box is perfect, and I got my wood tools (a fancy dremel tool) and all the parts. Hopefully I don’t kill myself.
I have wiring experience with drones but this is a bit more serious. Any tips my dudes.

Btw my torch lighter came today and it’s a game changer from the bic. Can’t wait I try out the ih as you guys have nothing but praise for it

Ok so I was stupid and I figured it out after I thought about it (too much vapcap practicing lol)
Now my coil gets hot quick. Not much vapor production does spreading the coil do anything to slow down the heating since it would lower that magnetic field

That’s what I finished with.
Gunna maybe paint or sticker bomb the thing, it I feather it in and go 2 seconds past the click, it’s cloud city.
This is legit a game changer

The hot glue gun was ONLY to hold the psu adapter in place, as well as seal the lid shut semi permanently.

They are ALL cheap and easy to use. Check the DP thread for TONS of great info on getting started.
checked out newvape. Seems you can get pieces for 350 - 500$, that would leave you with an incomplete set, it seems a complete setup would run about $15-$2500? Sneaky Pete's site has a big promotion for 'the nug smasher pro'. looks easy, cool, and not so crazy... Again $2500.... The more I look into Rosin, the more I'd like to try some.. Expensive though

@FlyingLow can you please link me to the dab press thread? I'm not finding it with ease

Edit*
Nugsmasher mini $500... Much more research needed.

Def check this out. Hands down best bang for buck anywhere to get a top performing setup for the lowest cost. Dabpress are not profiteers. They make a living, get by. But never at the customers great and unfair expense.

Roger, Dabpress creator, is genuinely the nicest, humblest, most caring guy you would come across. He absolutely passionately cares about his customers and wants to offer the best products possible for the best prices available to make pressing available to everybody.

He has also designed many different presses with variable features and at different price points so that there are so many options for people to choose the set-up which suits them best personaliy.

Free worldwide shipping, and unbeatable customer service.
Also, Newvape use Dabpress controllers with their top line models. So there is no compromise on quality with the Dabpress products.

The thread is an excellent resource, and company representation is second to none thanks to our very own super knowledgable and great guy @psychonaut (easy dude! :))

I can only say good things about Dabpress- the products, prices, customer service and personnel.

For the cost of a NS mini, equivalently priced Dabpress options will blow it out of the water in terms of quality and performance.
Also take into account the free shipping and very minimal customs so there isn't effectively any extra expense on top of the purchase, whereas with the Nugsmasher Mini, it personally would have cost me something like an extra £400 in Shipping and Customs to get it to the United Kingdom.
