Do you not realize how much shit you ingest and inhale living in society? Actually never mind that again I’m not arguing that you should like hydrocarbon extracts. But you do realize that’s not all extracts on concentrates? Calling it crack is just plain ignorant. There are many informed reasons someone may not want to use concentrates, particularly hydrocarbon extracts... but as someone who has had far far to much experience with drugs.... that’s just not accurate. I respect your opinion of not liking them but that analogy is complete bullshit and fear-mongering... I know many people who wouldn’t be able to function without the help of extracts because flower doesn’t cover their needs. But I guess all those medical patients are just crack heads? They just wanna get real real high that must be it. I’m not saying their aren’t idiots who dab, or blow themselves up trying to make it... but it’s not crack. Crack is a seriously dangerous drug that ruins fucking lives. Cannabis is not. End of story.

I know many people who have been using herb for their whole lives, and they are all hard working people with good morals, and the ones who have families are always doing their best to keep their families together. (don't know anyone who uses concentrate as its not widely available)

I've known a small handful of people who started to use crack. Their lives were always ruined in a matter of weeks, and their families put thru turmoil. jobs gone, family gone, health gone, sanity gone. Truly a sad sight to see.

Also, I used to live in the outback for a while, and when I would come back to the city, the first thing I did was try to catch my breath for about a minute, as the air pollution really hits you, and that was the place I grew up my whole life not even realizing it. I truly understood this to be the main cause of health problems we now face.

Recently I had to take an extended break from the EVO and any vaping of cannabis for a number of weeks because of some health issues :( . Thankfully, while slow, I've been recovering . I'm really looking forward to EVO use again. And I look forward to contributing soon with more direct experience and feedback.

Meanwhile, it's been interesting to observe a few poor/non-logical posts here full of hyperbole, some of which are OT (off topic) too. Thankfully it's only a few posts and often the community responds (if not literally, figuratively with no/little likes).

Still, I'd always advise Caveat Lector (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/caveat_lector) and look at the general consensus... not the exception. Looking for unanimity anywhere is like looking for a unicorn and another example of a false dilemma fallacy :sherlock:.

Thx for all the great EVO feedback these last months and keep it coming :peace:. Cheers

So I mentioned I received a new-to-me EVO from a Christmas trade, and I've finally started using it over the last few weeks after ending my t-break (THANK CHRIST...). It's swiftly replaced my other vapes as my go-to device.

I've been using it a bunch of different ways (Helio, Helio+Lynx with and without water, Lynx+whip+Nebula with and without water, and dual matrix rig with and without water), and I'm not sure what my favorite is...probably the rig but dry. It's crazy tasty, crazy easy to use, and crazy easy to keep clean.

I'm REALLY looking forward to testing out the nail, but I just need to find the right concentrate to start it on. I agree btw, that crack is maybe a bad reference for concentrate. I get where you're going with that, but I just think it's not really the appropriate analogy.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I'm really loving this thing. Really the only other vape I've used recently is my new G-43, which is superb, but those are thoughts I'll reserve for it's appropriate thread. I'm using it now while typing this, and am VERY medicated if you couldn't tell by now...

Cheers!

i have been grinding really fine with some good and fairly dry herb. Some mint chocolate chip hybrid from the dispensary. Holy clouds thing just belches vapor

My most intense experience with the evo was with some fluffy outdoor herb that I ground up as fine as I could. and vaped it straight at 2 o clock with half a basket. in hindsight, it was probably a bit too much for me lol.

right now I got some dense sticky herb, some people love that stuff, but its not for me. (the evo still crushes it tho, I just prefer fluffy stuff that I don't have to grind up and leave out on paper for a few hours to dry it)

My helio arrived this morning really looking forward to giving a go.

Do people remove it like you would a normal a hydrotube or just take low temp sips without removing it like you would a portable vape.

Cheers obviously gonna experience and experiment myself but just wondered how other people use it.

Hey everyone, quick question. How does everyone feel using concentrates in the Evo?

This is just me...but I pretty much never gunk up my good flower vapes with concentrates which can be vaped.....with a couple of hot knives and a drinking straw.

Bangers for 'trates

EVO and the like for flower.

That's my mantra.

My personal suggestion is a 710coils.com 25mm opaque banger, coil, and carb cap. Auber RDK-300 controller. DHGate dab rig of your choice.

I mean it's extracted with butane enough said.

actually, its very far from enough said as that is just the start of the process of most modern, high quality, hydrocarbon 'trates.

I've never pulled the basket out between draws ever lol.

After a couple of draws, I do pull the ELB out, tap it a couple of times (as you can easily see the load stuck at the top of the ELB) and its my version of stirring. Easy for me to do and works for me.

Cheers

After an extended break I got to the EVO again, and it was really impressive. The EVO has been great. Smooth smooth vapor with the Helio dry mouthpiece; it can be easy to misjudge intake :science: and roll on. And big cloud production here :leaf:, that's definitely not a problem. It can be too much if I don't watch my draw. I enjoyed some of my favorite strains, sativas including Acapulco Gold, Trainwreck and Chocolope. Tonight I vaped a half load in the ELB of Strawberry Cough to enjoy the Sunday eve.

Cheers

Hey all, I'm looking for some concentrates use feedback with the EVO :sherlock:. If anybody has any advice or feedback on any of the questions below please post up! If you have any other advice or feedback please put it up as well! :peace:

I plan to try concentrates in the EVO this weekend so I have a while to decide on the plans. I have sativa live resin and both sativa and indica shatter and I plan to use the Precision honeycomb hydratube wet.

What temps or positions on the dial do you recommend I try concentrates at, with the EVO?

If I do some sessions with concentrates (new dabs) and want to try a few temps should I be starting the evening at lower temps or at higher temps? (I plan to do tiny dabs so I can try a number of different methods)

Should I do concentrates on the first day after a break? Or is it better done in the middle or at the end of a weekend of use?

Has anyone tried concentrates in the EVO above 428F? How was it? Do you recommend trying it? That's the temp where that last Cannabinoids are vaporized, but it's also above 400F when some benzene production may occur.

Do you recommend slow draws or fast draws? A few posts I've read say to go slow or it can spill.

Do you mix in some ELB flower draws throughout an evening as well? If so, how is it?

Do you clean the glass nail / tube after every dab or at the end of the evening?

What concentrates do you prefer in the EVO? Why?

Anyone preheat the glass nail (tube)? I found a few people doing that and discussing it.

How common is spillage with you?

Any techniques or methods to suggest?

This post and video didn't get much feedback. This is from VapeXhale and they don't drop the concentrates into the glass nail like i assume most users do. Any comments?

There's lots to discuss if people have any feedback. Thx a bunch for any and all comments. I'm looking forward to this :leaf:.

I broke my bamboo today bkoooo. Anyone know of an online source for replacement? I'm not worried about the warranty as I forgot to register it anyway so I have no issues doing it myself if I can find one

I dont think u could find a custom piece of glass like this anywhere easily. I think u need to send it back to its creators and let the evo gods restore it to life abundant. And what a wonderful life that is.

Decided to put this bamboo protector to the test. Heres a video of my evo fall test

Next ima give it a shot on tile floor.

That's an awesome contraption. I also saw the ELB grinder attachment which made me so jealous I don't have access to a 3D printer. This thread is very innovative .

I broke mine a few weeks after I bought it years ago. VapeXhale replaced it quickly for $80. I have no idea what it costs now. Shoot their customer service an email.

I have to give it to their CS&S. One ELB came with the mesh fraying at the bottom plate and no questions asked (besides the picture) and they had new ones out before the day was over. Really awesome in my book.

Btw. Do all ELB's start to develop a slight curve from top to bottom or Is it just my fat fingers having to use a little flathead screwdriver and a hard surface trying to get the top hat off & on the ELB or something lol.

Welcome back and God bless! May your EVO serve you well when it is time :) I'm just getting back into vaping again myself here starting a couple days ago

My feelings are the same. Ever since using concentrates in my EVO, it just doesn't taste the same. I really regret it, honestly. I think I may need to send it in for cleaning now :( ...til then I think I am going to find some bomb wax to throw in there hehe

Get the right screwdriver and it's pretty easy to remove and clean the bamboo. I have heard VapexHale will say that will void the warranty however. No one can tell you removed and cleaned the bamboo for what it is worth.

You could also carefully fill the bamboo in place, unplugged unit, with iso and clean the bamboo that way.

I vote for the self clean. Mine was relatively dirty with residue deep in the bamboo, but it was great after a couple careful ISO soaks. There are a few guides out there that were very helpful in showing the process.
