Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

I find small amounts work well. I also find I need about half the bud when using the Rise compared to my portable to get a similar effect.

Don't use it much because the portable is more convenient. If I could leave it setup and not have to pack it away after each session then I would probably use it a lot more.

I do find it smells a lot when not in use. Might be the silicone tubing but it's a stinky vape after its been used a while.

Gotta keep the chamber clean so the inner screen slides freely.
I love to put a ground gram in the chamber, and fire the Unit up with a short tube (No2 sized)on it and nothing else, and treat myself to a rather long session... sometimes handheld, as I sip the vapor.
I guess I already mentioned I love the part where I unplug the unit, and still get a half dozen good rips!
With the short piece of whip, using the NO2 like this there is nothing to absorb resins, and the vape will stink less.

Back to using my Rise again. Direct draw (no bags). Connected by silicon tube from top of Rise to water adapter inserted in D20D. Temp of 370C most of session. Fan off then about mid bowl fan on at 2 or 3 bars (low) and 10 degree temp bump.

The plunger needs iso wipe pretty much after each session. If not it sticks in the open position and you inhale particles (water device seems to capture those at least).

Putting a round screen on top of herb before installing plunger top has also reduced the particles to almost none.

Quality of vapour is MUCH better than my portable, by a lot. Colour of abv is light blond totally extracted, perfectly even. Uses about half the herb than portable with much more effect.

Worth the extra hassle of setting up and taking down, garbage bagging to reduce odour, more frequent cleaning. Worth all of that and more.

Finally think I have figured out best way to use this vape. No grinding!!! I just take a nug and break it into smallish pieces and voila much improved. I also put more into bowl than I will consume and when done with a session I take out the bowl from the heating element and keep inhaling to capture whatever vapour is still coming out. When finished clean up I dump the partially vaped abv into a mason jar. Got 3 killer sessions from one bowl that was like half a smallish nug. Was a 27% strain but the efficiency using it this way is incredible. Fresh bowl at 370. 2nd session 385. 3rd session 400.

Of course through my small water device D20D

Not being ground also just broken seems to solve the particle inhalation due to plunger screen sticking in the up position.

Yeah. That’s a good question. It’s still being produced. I don’t think Vapir is outkf business. Someone posted that they were. I don’t think that’s the case.

Why is this vape listed as discontinued? It is still on the Vapir web site.
It is on the website, but listed as $0.
Try putting it in your cart as if to purchase it, and you will not see the option to "add to cart.
Vapir has a couple of vapes left... the Prima, and a new wax pen.
The website was a work of passion, and difficult for the Vapir Folks to just take down. A display if you will of all that was available with 2 vapes left as available.

That was me.. I posted it in another thread (Prima thread I believe):
The manufacturer itself has closed up shop almost entirely.
They do however have the Prima at about half the cost for a short time at http://www.vapir.com/prima-vaporizer
That and the Vapir pen ( http://www.vapir.com/pen-vaporizer ) are the only 2 vapes available now from the maker.
They do have a few accessories left for the now discontinued Vaporizers.

I speak with 2 folks from Vapir maybe once a month, but am just keeping up with the folks that have helped me over the years. I call on their private lines... They verified that the company is closed, and the few vapes and accessories left are stored at the former CEO's home..If you try to call Vapir's phone, you will find a "not working" announcement from the phone company.
Also.... if you google "Vapir Phone" what comes up is this Google spotlight that will remain up until someone from the company decides to take it down.

Touch the above image to get to that page on Google search.
I did BETA testing for many years, and still own every vape they ever made (all still function very well).
I can verify without a doubt that Vapir is no longer in business except for a low number of Primas, a couple wax pens, and a few accessories for a few now non-production vapes.
Many accessories say "out of stock"... but are still displayed.

Well it is a bloody shame that it’s been confirmed haha. All my vapes are out of business. But they still work. Just don’t like the fact that I won’t be able to get balloons or whips for this vape soon.

Save and care well for the mouthpiece, top section of the bag, and improvise. Use After market bags, or volcano bags to make any size bag you like.
I have a couple of three foot bags and a six footer.
I can switch them out on the Zephyr Ion, the Volcano, and the Rise.... I have a couple of boxes of
Volcano Solid Valve bag rolls. A box makes many bags.

I don’t have that piece like you do. I have the v2. My bags the hose goes directly in them.

Sadly I checked. They don’t have that “volcano” top piece for sale on the site. I wish I had a version 1.0. I don’t like using he whip to fill the bag cause you gotta buy the specific bags.

Screwed by another company that went out of business. Soon I’m gonna have 3 vapes that are useless lol.
I can not touch "like" for your post, because i t makes me sad. I wish I could help.

I always hated the 2.0 bag system. Finding the old attachment is nearly impossible. But on a higher note I should be able to find whip tubing anywhere so long as it’s food grade I should be fine.

Well my 2 vapes were made by companies who went out of business. $5 part when needed will relegate them to the garbage. Sucks

 Don't throw them away!!
I still collect old, and malfunctioning units to repair and spread among the low-income , terminally ill population.
On a lighter note.......
After placing many calls and emailing many of Vapir's past leaders... I got an email this morning.
While the business is listed as permanently closed, and their phones are "not working numbers".....There is still someone there at Vapir that cares!
Dear Vito,
Hope all is well with you!
We are still in business however discontinuing some of the older units.
Thank you for your support we really value your friendship!
Kind Regards,
Vapir
I will keep all advised as to any new address or phone number for Vapir!

Dang that kind of sucks, I've been only getting emails for Primas and wondered if they were pushing final stock.
